I'm tempted by AC origins but in black flag it had way too much ship action which bored me senseless. Is there nonsense like that in it or is it just normal play?
Changes sound good and I’ll play the DLC on the basis I bought the season pass on launch but this is my last Bungie game until they consider their European player base and stop taking the servers offline at peak times! It really irritates me as other games do time specific maintenance and I see no reason why they can’t do the same!
The Campaign started well in WW2 but it really dragged on for me and was a chore to finish! The MP however is a great blast and I'm having tons of fun with it (very unusual for me as I prefer Battlefields large scale game play).
Digital all day long now given Game's sh1tty trade in values! Can't be bothered with eBay so sooner they just sit in my library waiting to be played again!
No excuse in my opinion for any developer taking their game offline during peak hours for the chosen region. There should be systems in place to make sure that each region is dealt with at an appropriate time.
Content is drying up pretty sharpish if you've put in the hours like I have so the faction rally and iron banner will be welcome additions until the hard mode raid.
Digital sales are going to be huge on this I think as people wanted to play at midnight. Plus 1.2m concurrent players with a much larger install base on PS4 compared to Xbox suggests that digital has gone very well indeed!
Quality over quantity is fine by me. The first mission from the beta was more engaging than the entire of the first games story. If the remainder of the game is the same then the number of missions will matter not.
Super excited for release now, just a small mater of 9 hours work to get through before I get to nerd out for a few days
Spyro was the first game that I played with my daughter and holds a special place for us both. I'd jump on that as I did with Ratchet and Clank immediately.
I've had a good four hours play on it now and am very happy with the changes they have made, especially with the PVP element which is far more balanced and less one shot BS.
Story mission is excellent and I cannot wait to see how it all pans out in the main game.
Visually the game is stunning and impressively smooth for 30 fps (although it would be nice to have a 60fps mode on the PS Pro at 1080p).
(P.S. I was a fan boy of Destiny 1 so opinion is likely to be slightly biased!)
@get2sammyb The Xbox One Elite controller is a thing of beauty. Worth every single penny and If Sony can make one along the same quality it would be day one for me!
@SKC_Diamond You're spot on there!! Destiny was super smooth to play and the only real issue with game play was the god awful net code and p2p nonsense. I'm more disappointed by the lack of dedicated servers than anything else but apparently they have worked a new style of net code so fingers crossed it does the job.
Am I disappointed? yes! Will it stop me buying the game? No! They should at least have the option for 1080p 60fps for standard PS4 and Pro users! I use the pro but still play at 1080p as I prefer to use a PC monitor for gaming rather than my 4K TV. Until they have good monitors with HDR then I don't see my choice changing anytime soon.
At some point they have to switch their focus to the newer hardware. I'm, not sure the Scorpio release will be the deciding factor due to the lack of games as people have noted before me. I used to be a full on Xbox fanboy and a massive Halo nerd but not even that could keep me on the Xbox One given the lack of games. It's really quite shocking how poor the exclusive line up is for Microsoft at the moment.
I also wouldn't be surprised to see a new Pro announced soon and the then the launch spec hardware phased out of sale (i.e. current pro moving to the base console and a new Pro taking over the top spot).

Re: A Whole Bunch of Ubisoft Games Are Going Cheap In New European Weekend Sale
@daveofduncan if you enjoyed the base game The Underground and Survival are very good although the later probably lacks players at present.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 205
Currently playing The Division although I'm getting seriously tempted to pick up a switch for Zelda!

Re: Fortnite Battle Royale Passes 40 Million Total Players
Love this game, great fun and to think it is free compared to the dross we have to pay for is incredible!
I don't normally do micro transactions but happy to chip a few quid in with this purely to show my appreciation to the developers for being awesome.

Re: TGS 2017: Nioh Cuts Loose with a Complete Edition Later This Year
I personally preferred this to the souls series and BB as the combat is much faster. It's still going to make you want to smash things up though
Outstanding game with surprisingly good DLC

No story trophies suggests to me they are hidden but who knows! I'm looking forward to the game regardless

Still not had time for Crash yet though

Noooo! Falls right in the middle of all the shooters I want now
I was hoping to have this done prior to Destiny 2 launch.

Shadow of Mordor was a gem of a game! I'll be popping the pre-order on for this one the moment it's on the store!
Re: Poll: Are You Buying Horizon: Zero Dawn?
Buying it twice, one for me and another for my daughter as neither of us deserve to wait to play this fine game
