@AdamCorela you must be new here... what you're describing never existed. This site was exactly how it is now since forever... they had less money back then tho
@Fiendish-Beaver silly rabbit. Of course you can twist the interpretation of reports to your advantage or disadvantage and do so without outright fabrication. What did you think I was saying? Them claiming something that can easily be disproven? C'mon don't be literal. They of course have the math do support their claims, but the claims are false. There is simply no way PlayStation with those prices and impossible to find in mainland Europe and xbox series ( especially series s prices) being available resulted in 80:20... you have to be living on Mars, or be a sony pony, to believe this. But MS got the math to get to such results. Good for them. I hope they don't get to do this merger. Sony knows it's going to harm them long term and harm them real bad. And they are right to fear it and fight it with all the tools at their disposal.
MS is lying through their teeth. There is no chance of these percentages being accurate. Xbox has been selling superbly well in europe throughout this ps5 draught. They are just slanting numbers to apear as David when they are in fact Goliath in this story. They could end Sony in one sneeze should they wish to. MS is the 1000 pound gorilla here, let's not kid ourselves.
I didn't get a chance to give them any notes on the story and characters - the gameplay sucked in the demo and that was it for that game and my time. Too many games available to play, too little time.
@Darude84 we are talking about the same Sony, right? The one that already put their exclusive on a subscription service and then pulled it? I would not be sure about Sony's exclusives persisting on psXtra... they don't have a clear statement about the subscription destiny of their exclusives like XBOX has.
Meh, I have zero interest in this. Story wise the first game did it for me. Didn't need no DLCs, no sequels, and no film/tv adaptation. It was perfect, open ended, free in its beginnings, you could let your imagination fly. You all enjoy yourselves I was out when the credits roled on the first one (well, actually replayed it three times LOL).
buy this thing, with just two back buttons and replacable sticks option (that I never needed) and with inferior battery life for €240 or get my second Elite with four back paddles, 10x the battery life for €136 (in 5 installments on amazon) Yeah, Sony, you can go Facebook yourself. They pretty much are selling a dual sense with a back button attachment (ok, ok, they made the sticks replaceable). Nope. Nothing there for me and I am annoyed by all the "cool" new features of the regular dual sense, they are so tiring and annoying in almost all games except in Returnal and AstroWhatsTheGameNameThing.
@roe you said it, man. It would look like the announcement trailer/fake gameplay. Mechanically, it would just need to be the same and would still be 100 times more fun than any of the "arcade" racers that came out in the last five years.
Yeah, dudes, this one will be remembered as a turning point for the show. It's turning into Oscars for games and Geoff was aiming for that all along. Bravo to him and his team.
The waiting "for Slim" gang is hilarious. Dudes, have you not learned anything from how Sony stumbled through 2020-2022. You seriously believe these dudes will release psvr2 AND a mjor revision of their flagship product in the same year? Get a grip and stop pretending like you dudes had any intention of buying any ps console.
@FierceViper82G that's right dude. That AC looked so meh I didn't even bother to start it once. Granted, I'm more of an AC2 fan though and dislike this ballooning of massive space filled with repetitive truckload of...
@Hindenburg duuuude. Are you ok? How old are you? 97 (edit: not ageist, just in a sence " that old to remeber WW2 and how it was")? What on earth are you blathering on about?
It for sure is not a 10/10 either. Like the 2018 one wasn't (the repetitions, the lack of boss fights the short narrative but stretched gameplay, the atrocious crafting and upgrades, the broken difficulty settings)... But. But, the overall product was a greater thing than the sum of its "goods" and "bads", and a masterful and enjoyable success. So, we like to award such efforts with 10/10. On the other hand, this dude focused on the negatives only, which is fine, but all of them, in the face of the overall achievement, realistically, should maybe bring the score down by half a point, fine have it your way, a point. It still ain't a 6, dude, that was malicious, so you know, lesser people will want to get malicious with you then. Not approving of such behaviour, just saying, you should expect it. You wake up and choose violence - then don't cry when violence comes a knocking.
Btw dudes, unecessary article. From a game announced as a ps5 exclusive to "just kidding, we can't sell ps5 to save our lives, it's a ps4 game" - it was clear as day that this would be awesome on ps4 base and pro.
@KundaliniRising333 @jordan1992 @Sakai yup, dudes, it's a PS4 game with some extra options for ps5 that let you choose resolution or framerate performance. It's still gonna rock and be great. Like its predecessor, it's a phenomenal 9/10 game (not a 10, both have unecessary fake puzzle time fillers to stretch "time to finish", in adition to the first one having dog*** broken difficulty scaling and a ridiculous number of crafting systems/upgrade mechanics).
@UltimateOtaku91 correct, but, unlike Sony, Microsoft can afford selling them at a loss at full speed. Sony is trying not to sell too many before the price catches up with production costs.
There are only three ps5 games on that list though, dudes & dudettes. And the best of them is, without any contest, Astro. I've said it. Don't @ me. 😅😂
@Snake_V5 keeping COD on PS has never been in jeopardy and Sony knows it. No, the problem is this:
Once the deal is through, we could see a requirement in future COD for an automatically provisioned xbox account (like you get a ubisoft one when playing AC these days). Sony wants to avoid this at all cost.
P4 and P4 golden were crucial for P5 success in markets outside Japan. P4 was probably their best known and most played Persona game before P5 due to western hip game journos who just wouldn't shut up about it (rightfully so!).
2007 MW had the part of Chernobil/Pripyat done to perfection. I had a dude, visiting Chernobil in 2012 and he brought a series of pictures and I was like "yeah dude, behind this bulding is a children's playground in such and such state", and the dude was like "what? Have you been there?"... I said "no. But I know this. I have no idea how". A few minutes later I realised it was a false memory built from playing COD a few years back.
@StrickenBiged 😄 the obligatory ps5ps3emu comment. Nice one dude(tte). There's a venn diagram of people who think PS5 is a diety trapped in a machine and of people who think PS3 was a glorified TI calculator. Smack right in the middle are those convinced that PS3 can be effectively emulated on PS5.

Yes, that's $, £ and € dudes.
Dudes who think that Sony could make an effective PS3 emulator for PS5 are serious Sony fans. They also know jacksh* about it. Dudes, IF they could and it was easy, they would need to do an emulator and then specific wrappers for each group of games and it would still run like dogsh*. Stop deluding yourselves, PS5 is not THAT powerful. PS6 tho will probably be able to do it.
@ryanburnsred ps3 was their most revolutionary console (ok, with the exception of ps1). 2, 4 and 5, in my view were/are iterative (which, fine). PS3 is my most beloved PS and yet, yet, I still hate that DS3 with passion. I packed my two ps3s just to never touch those crapiest of the crap controllers.
@Tomato_Goose @Joabra01Swe @stvevan I don't think we can argue with the dude who doesn't want to subject himself to the pain of not being able to play a sequel. Not because his is a valid argument, or because ours is. It's the old: is it better to feel love and potentially get hurt or to never have loved and not be hurt. There is no right answer, or rather, there is only one right answer depending on the person you are. Take care, dudes.
@Olmaz driveclub is top tier racer. Vr version, not so much... it pales in comparison to GT Sport VR tracks in terms of immersion, sim and performance. No tears will be shed here for DC VR not being ported.
@Tharsman developers don't charge you unless they self publish, publishers do. And yes, because games have not been priced according to reality we have had this bs of over a decade now with standard, deluxe, complete editions, season passes, microtransactions etc.
@greengecko007 sure dude, I'll trust you when you show me your game dev and publishing business surviving on just $60 a pop of your AAA game (once again, please notice that in my op I was speaking specifically about AAA).
@Tharsman even $70 is bellow what games should actually cost. If you take ballooning budgets and inflation (not curent bla bla inflation but general all time running) games should have costed us around $100 since mid previous decade. So no, $50 is not it, and neither is $70 for AAA games.
If you understand Arabic, this is a true return to form re. AC games. The dudes at Ubi can't resist naming their protagonists "on the nose".
