@PhantomMenace84 yeah after T20 or so in dungeons it.doesnt really work all that well unless you put more points into blight, shadow damage,.but best overall bone spear, crazy spec and according to patch notes next week it's only going to get better 🥳

@REALAIS that ability is awesome add that with the ability that corpse explosion instead causes suicide skeletons and cause blight when they blow up, explosion doin around 40 % more damage, makes for funny chaos

Cloud only wins by nostalgia, other than that hes a clueless bore with zero personality, he would be 4th favourite protagonist overall tho,

Why not just do what 98% of other games and just show it's about happen fade to black etc, cuts to then getting dressed, it serves the same purpose. It's a pointless purpose but sure you'll make the Simps happy 👍

@MattBoothDev it looked like I was defending it over all there but I'm not, especially blizzard.... I have a problem with MTX that give an actual playing advantages, such as weapons and level boost, I care not so much about cosmetic mtx, , but remember it's their money and some people want the boost because they can't have time to progress like other people, but want the see more content etc.amd others just want a cool lookong character
Overall yes MTX are scummy practice but unfortunately they are here to stay.
Even regulated they will still exist. Sadly the the gaming gen we live in

@MattBoothDev what are you talking about ? Maliciously geared towards MTX, how so ? It'd not shoved in you face, not even close, the current season is free to play, and saying the entire game is geared towards paying more is ignorance, anything that is purchasable is cosmetic that's all, Affects literally nothing about the game, nor required to progress.

So what is it then, they designed the patch and tought wow this is great were so happy with this, or they designed it and then realised oh this is junk l, but maybe we will release it and hope people think its OK.

Well usually with live services games it requires you to be fairly active and consistent to stay with the pack, and I don't belive there is very many games out there that are intriguing enough to keep you playing a long long time

Or maybe clearing the game once as this race is like 20 total endings

@Northern_munkey yeah sure in some circles like 3-5% of People who play, but also no reward for been top of the leader board, all.aeason rewards can be obtained by just playing.
I'm not saying it's a bad game,.not even close I've dropped.at least 190hrs in as "Casual" player just ff16 has taken me some refreshing time away from endless grind,
People.just need to get use to buffs and nerfs it will never be even and will always be flavour of the month so to say

Well over enemy power went down also due to World scaling,
Some classes did need a bit of a nerf to be fair,
However others like barb when basically enemy's look at you and you die ( that is of course if your not playing 3 shout spec and or thorns spec, they should have had more buffs, necro also especially bone spear summoner spec 🤣🤣
The worst change here is them reverting the dungeon exp buff, clearly to annoy and be blizzard and hope people don't blast the season. Why why why do this to a non-competitive game....

@Nem yes there was mentions of this and that and other things sure I'm.not gonna disagree , probably cut it to make deadlines and or dlc, but Clive was complete we saw the end,.but yeah the 5 year jump will probably be dlc,.its not crappy business sadly every game does this now, leave Windows open for sequel/dlc if said game is successful
So anyway as an overall, yes the much larger perspective it was " unfinished"
Still a stellar game

@L_Bosch unfinished ? Do tell please, I finished it up 100%, and it feels pretty damn complete all threads tied up, everybody got their ending, Combat is brilliant,.fast,.responsive
What exactly was unfinished about it in your opinion ?

With that many writers its gonna be a disaster, sadly because I do really like borderlands game and world, however I can't see how it will translate to the " real world" properly

@Marquez no no any character you create on season realm will disappear when the season ends, it will only be loot and cosmetics that carry over, but the character you make will be deleted

I knew diablo 4 and ff16 would be great but my biggest surprise was Wo long, really enjoyed that.
But just to much to like this year sonfar, dead space , RE4, Village in VR

@Porco mainly criticism comes from " its.not a final fantasy bruh" the combat is all new and the story is more adult than usually. People get hurt cause sqx is changing with the times, either change it up or you die simple, I've played 30 hours and I am really enjoying it. Combat is awesome especially when you get couple.if more Eikons and abilities, can literally juggle enemy's through 8 or 9 abilities,.and or break stagger bar
People the combat is simple, but ro be fai its as simple as you want or very complex, I feel People commenting how easy it is...most likely playing on story mode with the easy.mode rings
I think FF16 will be remembered for the different path it took and I hope they continue down this path

Don't they want money, considering ps5 have absolutely trounced xbox in sales.

@KaijuKaiser haha be careful now or the demon souls/dark souls fanboys gonna come get you, I agree though remake was fine just a good makeover but an average game, people bang on about oh you discover story yourself in exploration, every other souls game but Elden ring were linear like an arrow...wheres the exploration.
As for FF16 I can't wait for it, I think the reason it won't get a 10 will be 1. Too much cutscenes, people are so impatient these days, complain if its only 10hrs complain again if its 60hrs.
And 2. I think we will.see alot of comments on how it's trying to be Devil may Cry but Final Fantasy, but yes there will definitely be a feel of dmc considering who the dev of combat is...

@Mythologue there some pvp but yeah it's mainly co-op, it's lame thing to do it, and they have been under fire since starting the nerfs, their idea I suppose was to make sure people play the game longer, but it Will absolutely have the reverse effect,.I'm 60 of 100 currently, and it's making me tired already repeating same 2 things (dungeons/whispers) and now they smash the exp gained,.and leveling doesn't make you feel stronger cause the world scaling is so badly tuned. They have an epic game here but insist on shooting themselves in the foot every 2 or 3 days since release

How many betas for this ?? I've personally been part of 3 betas....all this time and money plus effort,.98% chance its a flop, from.what I've personally played at least, it's a bad game,

Imagine somebody saying a game is bad or putting it down because they read some reviews or some other peoples comments on it.
This is/ was a great game, super fun and and b movie type gore, real fun side quests and likeable characters.

Came here expecting to see alot of crying and whining about it been on ps5 only, glad I was wrong, and yeah I agree 3 years now into new gen, ps4 can go to sleep quietly now

Well it won't take attention away if they like give us Rebirth release date just quickly then move on to FF16 some new end game gameplay and release of the demo tonight (2 weeks before game release)
And then some FF remaster release...hopeful I know but one can dream

@Feena well they are the same name game but different story's in that world, this FF is still the same story just broken up its not a "new" entry. So i would say playing part 1 is a requirement at least a heavy recommendation, or that "previously on" they'll do will be long and just feel really odd

@dancingstar93 yeah could be a good place I tought after Temple of the Ancients but that would be short, and leave alot for part 3, another breakpoint could be when the Ultimate weapons get released/attack on Junon.

I'm not really sure what to expect, I mean are they throwing alot of the original "2nd half" of the game or what, and it been open world is not odd, in the original it was open world after that little village Calm and some story,.you were free to travel chocobo an all, im more concerned where will the stopping point be for part 2, I.means its an epic journey all the way til " part 3" l...meaning disc 3 from original

@naruball oh yeah of course but i mean god of war elden ring etc they are huge games and there was never any doubt they would be a massive hit, hence even the review embargo on GoW and elden ring were lifted more than a week earlier because of the the developers confidence,
As for FF 16 and say AC mirage I feel those games will.have repetition which the devs will try to hide. Granted SQE and Ubisoft are huge companies but they've had a few stinkers
So that mixed with other things I think will have an effect on pre orders. But as you said thousands still keeping throwing their money in.

People just becoming more thoughtful towards pre orders these days, it's not like much people.have money to just buy a game they kinda might like, economy doesn't allow it anymore for most, so most just wait for an overall review first on the " I kinda want to play" games

Seems like SF6 might fall behind til a later date, Diablo 4 and FF16 massive blockbusters will cast a shadow I'm sure

Maybe hideo feels they are gonna do a terrible remake, so he has allowed the remake but makes sure everybody knows he wasn't part of it.
Not much can go wrong once they don't overhaul the entire thing. Original is great just maybe make 'The End" boss battle much more exciting, and leave out that annoying never ending river of the dead part also

Alan wake 2 will stomped over spiderman 2 in gfx, it looked like a ps4 and I think miles morales looked better.

With at the foam party game..really?
No Ghost 2?
No lou multiplayer

So they claim its so polished requiring no day 1 patch and no dlc, So perfect complete game from day one. It's hard to belive I must say

Ghost of Tshushima 2, MGS3 remake, the twister metal announcement is almost a given considering the TV series starts soon, ff16 demo is definite, really hoping for Death Stranding 2 gameplay or at least short vid with "coming 2024" or something
