Re: PS5 Pro Announced, Costs $700 and Out in November

@motorrik6 Sony is only making bad decisions to Playstation. I don't see a good future for the brand as a console lover.

Like I said, if the future is PC only, it's time to give up this hobby for good. I love playing videogames, but I couldn't give a ***** about GPU, CPU, RAM, I use my money for better things in life like traveling, buying a nice TV, but upgrading PC every year is not my thing. Too much money just for a "better quality" experience. I already own a laptop for work, studies etc. Console was always my way to relax after a busy day in work.

@Maubari If PlayStation end as console, I'll go full Nintendo.

If Nintendo ends as a console, well, maybe it's time to retire from gaming. But I'll never go to PC. I like videogames, but I don't like to spend so much just to play games. $900 just for a decent GPU is nuts, in my country is even worse, because a decent one is about $1200 or more.

I don't work with computers and I don't see why I should spend too much money on a gaming PC, so it's like I said: if consoles are dead, then It's time to move on from this lobby or stay with retro gaming, something that I already can do in my tablet.

@NEStalgia You pay for the full setup, a decent GPU is about 800$ or more and that's just one part of the whole.

I paid $500 for my PS5 in 2021, I don't see any problems to pay $600 now for a Pro, but I would for a GPU. The subscriptions are not expensive if you pay annually. Just play about 2 - 3 big games in the service and your subscription is paid, and you'll probably play more than 2 or 3 games in a year.

Re: Reaction: Why You Shouldn't Worry Too Much About PS5's Year-on-Year Decline

@Jamesblob Sometimes I go to reddit and think I'm alone on this. It seems I'm wrong for rather to still play on consoles (especially PS5) than on PC.

I never cared or wanted to play on PC. My job is to work 9h per day (sometimes more) on PC and the last thing I want to do in my spare time is to stay on PC.

I know every single advantage PC has over consoles and I don't care. I could buy a $2000 or $3000 PC to play in the best possible way any game I want, but why would I? I can't even find time to play on my console and I got a life beyond gaming.
