I am a huge Spider-Man fan but I don't know how much exited I am, excluding the fact that the game will have a PC version too.
They sort of messed up Spider-Man by changing the actor and made Peter seem younger that Miles. But why why why in all those iterations we need Miles. I am so bored by him, he is one of the blandest character that has the mantle

It was expected, they matched the Steam prices, even though other publishers introduce Switch or PlayStation tax Sega does not.

The outdated setting and performance are the problem. The silent protagonist thing was stupid in the 90's let alone now. I have not played Nox yet but Dana was a mess, in Vita and Switch at least. The game randomly went in slow motion. Everyone was in love with the silent Adol for some reason while the other male MC was a pervert even though he is married with kids.

I really liked the murder mystery and the metroidvania stuff in exploration of the island though. Made you feel like the marooned Green Arrow.

With NISA's truck record though the game will arrive here in 2024 at best.

Edit: This uses the Kuro engine?? Wow, I beat the game two days ago and it looks better than this, although it is not leaps ahead of Hajimari. I guess this game is still WIP though.

I have never played MultiVersus and I am not even sure what it is but seeing Black Adam side by side with Velma (I think) is bizarre. Too bad we will never see Black Adam fighting Superman in the cinema though.

Horizon Forbidden West, Atelier Sophie 3 and Final Fantasy Origins are my top 3 games. Makes sense!

I am downloading now on my Steam Deck. I will also get the PS4 retail version down the line!

@nessisonett I am pretty sure Steam Deck can handle it if they minimum cpu and gpu specs are correct, heck even the ps4 could handle it if it had more ram!

Curious to see if they, regardless on if we have a new MK or Injustice, manage to make the characters uglier, stupider or both...

@jrt87 So there is basically no way to back up PS5 saves except by using plus. By the way have you tried to see if you can import or export PS4 saves via USB on a PS5 system? This is off topic but I HATE the PS5 UI. It is filled with nonsense and makes finding the settings a chore.

@NeThZOR Thanks for clearing this up, I was wondering about it... It would be a pain to reupload everything, especially the PS Vita saves.

By the way why are Cloud Saves behind a paywall? I had PS4 and Switch and I always assumed it was the case but seems like Steam and Xbox have them for free. Playing a game in my Steam Deck and continuing later in my laptop is seemless!

@GorosBat DF retro recent video focuses in all FF13 games. The Xbox versions run with BC is the best way to play the games but the PC ports are OK

As a more personal note I love FF13 the PC games play very well in my new laptop that uses last year technology but played in slow motion in my 2014 laptop. I haven't tried yet in the Steam Deck though. Since Pixel Remastered released I started replaying all FF games in the Deck but I am not there ... yet!!

They do not delete your cloud saves if you let the Plus lapse? Do they?

@whizzkidd FF1 and 2 are €12 on Steam and the others €18 but if you buy them all together there was a small discount.

Too late for me I bought and beat all of them again in my Steam Deck. I may get them and play them again in a possible future discount.

By the way we only miss the 13 trilogy for a complete main FF series experience in PS4

@nomither6 I would love if you could go in a store, give 500 euros and get the PS5 and I would very much like to leave PS4 back in this case. However, with the scarcity of PS5 and this 750 euro bundle force it is true that many people will be slow in the upgrade progress.

@evildave333 To be fair all modern fighting games have this issue. I only got the new characters, no costumes and only when they were discounted, which was usually before all the characters were released! The only game I got characters when they released was Battle for the Grid.

This does not change the fact that, to my knowledge, Capcom and SEGA are the only AAA publishers that have not raised the price of their games while giving both PS4 and 5 as a cross buy option.

@nomither6 Is it though? You can find PS5 consoles rarely here but they retail for 750 euros. I have friends that cannot afford it but I can still play SF6 and Diablo 4 with them. I am lucky to have bought one for 509 euros near launch...

Wow Capcom keeps giving. What I like is that both RE4 and SF6 are 70 euros in psn and include both PS4 and PS5 versions. They did the same with Village and gave the RE2 and 3 upgrades for free. There is no PS5 tax in Capcom games which I really like.

Who designed this trailer? The ones that made the live action movies? Does the one who made it have any idea what transformers fans want to see? Obviously, humans talking without context in not one of them...

Also, the game is online only?

There is a "European PlayStation Tax" in both versions. In Steam the game is 60 euros while the PS5 is 80. There are no minimum specs in the Steam page for some bizarre reason.

@ShogunRok Thanks, I guess the performance on PS4 will be adequate for quick online sessions, there is nothing that screams next gen in this game. We had great fan playing casually co-op in Diablo 3 and I am glad we will do it again.

The end of Forbidden West (final battle and ending) was one of the worst I have seen in a modern AAA game. To be fair I have not played much AAA games from western developers (only some from Sony) but come on... lame final boss with the most generic motive imaginable and we are left with a cataclysm coming where it seemed that the cataclysm would arrive and Aloy and friends would fight it in the end. I don't like the generic slapping "to be continued", this is not a trails game.

I am up for dlc if they try to sort this mess but the dlc will probably be about the Hephaestus AI because they need it to finght the cataclysm. If it is reasonably priced, like the frozen wilds, I will get it.

I am so bored and tired to see news of this almost every day. Most are to the point that they don't care. I don't get Sony's arguments and can the UK officials block the deal if it is approved everywhere else? And what the UK has to say if an American company buys another American company?

Also, weren't we supposed to block and boycott Activision games for some reason?

PlayStation will be fine without CoD. They may have to make a new Killzone or a new fps IP which is a good think imo...

@northaldinho To be honest I gave up on NISA. I beat the fan translation of Reverie and play the republic game these days. When you start Reverie the game it asks who Rean loves and you simply choose you favourite girl from a menu not that it plays any major difference anyway.

By the way if you live in Europe and buy games from the European NISA Store you still pay import and custom fees in some games! I will still buy the games but come on...

The more sense NISA makes the less sense NISA makes...

@sanderson72 As far as I am aware the only way to back up ps4 or ps5 saves in the ps5 console is via the cloud.

However, there are some games that let you do this in the game menu, plus not required. From the top of head they are Resident evil Village, Final Fantasy Origins, Atelier Ryza 3. I may misremember though...

I only pay for cloud saves between my ps4 and ps5 consoles to be honest and my plus is always over since I got it last year in black Friday. I don't have time to play online and the free games are rarely good. There is no way to transfer saves between ps4 and ps5 without plus is it?

A plus feature I liked that has dropped is the day one discounts or discounts on preorders.

@2here2there I have this cable. It works great! Needs power but a USB port from the TV does the job. It is combatable with all Mega Drive models but only Master System 1 (I have the second model). However, if one also has a Mega Drive (and not a 32x), to reduce clatter I still suggest the Master System to Mega Drive adapter, even though I am not sure how much they go to those days.

@JustPlainLoco @Uncharted2007 The way I play my Master System games today is via the Mega Drive and the official SEGA adapter with the use of cheap Mega Drive HDMI cable. I would love a Master System or Game Gear classic games collection or even a mini. Sega has the rights for most of the console 's classic games...

@get2sammyb Thanks for bringing this to a wider attention. It bugs me that you technically pay and a part of the service is not available. Moreover, Xbox Cloud has the same issue in a lot of European countries, even we also pay for the cloud feature.

Unbelievable: I found ps5 ready to buy at a major local retailer in store for the first time since the console launch! Horizon bundle plus a forced second controller for the ultra low price of only 729€! I also took a photo because I think my friends won't believe me! I wanted a secondary cheaper only digital editions but I guess I may have to wait...

Locking game progression in the hardest difficulty setting is one of the worst design choices I have seen in a modern videogame. It takes you back to the 90's where the true ending was locked behind hard mode or something...

A thing that baffles me is the choice of characters you play as. Let's not play as Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, Green Arrow etc. but as Red hood, Harley, Killer Croc etc... Who are those people for someone not in the DC lore? It is not that there is an abundance of DC comics videogames now that technology allows for a proper Superman game for example. I guess there is Injustice 2 but they butchered some of the characters like they did in Mortal Kombat. Spiderman ps4 was a perfect example of how to make a superhero game, even though the new Peter Parker looks off and the Sinister 6 plot felt forced.

Maybe releasing a story based game with the number 4 in a new platform is not a great idea but then what do I know...

It would be interesting to see the eastern part of the continent. We know some characters and I want to see why the Empire was so afraid of Calvard. I don't think it was ever addressed.

Wow I am surprised that CV gets so much love. I thought this game was generally not well received. I mean a remake would be a good idea for me since I don't like the OG game that much, but the game needs a lot of changes in the story. Steve and Alfred are some of the worst characters in RE. The whole concept of Alfred is bonkers even for RE standards and I never got around the suggestive stuff that clearly Steve tried to do to Claire while she was sleeping in the plane. Also, he sounds very bad even for RE voice acting.

Those games are not beginner friendly. They slowly build the lore and the world and to be honest some things may not make much sense even you played all games since you forget events. I cannot recommend to start from Cold Steel. You will have no idea why Crossbell is so important (which is something not explained particularly good anyway). And in Reverie you play as the Crossbell MC.

I don't get why those games take so much time to be localized since the publisher licenses the fan translations and doesn't bother to translate the games in other European languages. I play Reverie those days from the fan translation that can be easily applied to the Steam version (there is one for the Calvard game too!!!!) and I don't like the story. I am in the second chapter. The romance between adult males and underage girls or teachers with students is still here and I cannot stomach it easily especially when characters casually joke about it.

EDIT: OK so I thought to buy the game from the EU store and guess what it is in UK so for a EUROPEAN store you have to pay import and custom fees. It makes no sense...
