Re: Almost All PS5 Fans Are Against $80 Games

"Our hobby is getting increasingly expensive, folks, and it’s unclear what any of us can do about it."

I would argue it's cheaper than ever.
The game market is so oversaturated that you can get almost every game for dirt cheap if not free if you're willing to wait.

You can get a full gaming library on the Epic store alone for free.

Subscription service offer a wide array of games for a pretty low cost.

There is literally no reason to pay for full price games nowadays.

Re: Talking Point: What Are Your Thoughts on Potential $80 PS5 Games?

The only full priced games I buy are €20 indies that I really want. PS plus extra usually has everything I need.

I won't support Nintendo on this, hopefully the Switch 2 sales will suffer because of it.

Nintendo has always been a company that thrives when it's struggling imo, they always seem to mess things up after a huge succes.

Re: Kids Aren't Dreaming of Owning a PS6, Says Netflix Games Boss

Netflix boss is full of BS.
But what I do think is that each newer generation of consoles is becoming increasingly pointless. Gameplay has barely changed in the last 3 generations of consoles.
With the graphics approaching realism we come to a point where there just isn't anything to upgrade in the traditional sense.

Re: Housemarque's New PS5 Game Will Be a Little Less Punishing Than Returnal

The biggest problem with the roguelike aspect in Returnal was that it wasn't rewarding. There weren't any cool builds to explore, it just evolved into getting your favorite gun and as much health as possible.

The malignancy/malfunction system is really cool in theory, but the rewards are kinda dissapointing for how brutal some malfunctions can be. Once I realized that I just should ignore any malignancy, the game got a lot easier and my runs became more consistent.
