Re: 10 Best PSVR2 Games You Must Play on Launch Day

invictus4000

Took the day off today for VR2 and the universe didn't like that one damn bit. It decided to shove the middle finger into my face and threw the worst snow storm in decades at us even though its been in the 40s for months. Got 6 feet of snow and all the delivery trucks are paused.
I freaking hate my life.

Re: Final Fantasy 7 Remake Producer Says Narrative Changes 'Necessary' to Keep Players Interested

invictus4000

So ridiculous. Old fans like me only wanted a faithful remake and people that didn't know the old game would have loved the original story. Its beloved for a reason...so don't give me this crap about changing everything for anyone's sake but your own.

I understand what he's saying. It would be a waste of an opportunity to just make a word for word, shot for shot recreation. But the parts they greatly expanded on from the original while keeping the same story were enough to make it feel fresh. You didn't need to make it Kingdom Hearts.

He just wants excuses to justify his stupid nonsensical Kingdom Hearts garbage. I'm on the fence about continuing on with the sequel. Lifes too busy to invest in a game that will likely get dumber as it goes. We will see.

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Is Already Hyping Up a Huge Year

invictus4000

9 was the last truly good FF for me (and my favorite game of all time) but this seems to be a lot closer to what I believe FF should be. Preordered and pretty excited despite the battle system being 100% Devil May Cry. I can deal with it though if the story is solid and classic exploration/menus/parties etc are present. I'm a tad bit worried about those things still.

Re: Opinion: Why 2023 Will Be PS5's Biggest and Best Year Yet

invictus4000

2022 was a big blank nothing for Sony and Nintendo with a few notable exceptions. 2023 I believe will be the comeback year; the payoff of all the silence. For me so far its:
Gollum
Granblue Fantasy: Relink
FF7R2
Stellar Blade
Final Fantasy 16
Burning Shores Horizon DLC
PSVR2 console
RE4 remake
Swordsman VR
Switchback VR
Ghostbusters VR
Among Us VR
Hello Neighbor VR
Call of the Mountain
RE8 VR
No Man's Sky VR
Kayak VR
Moss Bundle
Demeo

Not to mention Tears of the Kingdom on Switch. I think its safe to say this article is NOT an opinion piece. Haha.

Re: Here's Your First Look at PS5 Boxart for Physical PSVR2 Games

invictus4000

@Uncharted2007 I've pre-ordered and am hyped beyond belief for VR2, but I hear ya on the motion sickness thing. I would play VR1 for long periods and get splitting motion headaches and feel sick all day. Hoping the 4k OLED display will help with that, not to mention I've learned I need glasses since then. Lol

Re: Resident Evil Village Is a PSVR2 Launch Game, And It's Free

invictus4000

For me, the VR2 is the biggest, most exciting launch lineup in console history. Usually a system launches with 1-2 games I'm interested in but this one has like, 10 day 1 purchases. How am I gonna play all this?? Lol
Call of the Mountain
RE8
No Man's Sky
Kayak VR
Moss Bundle
Switchback
Demeo...
The list goes on. CANNOT WAIT! Now just give me an upgrade path for Astrobot and Tetris Effect and I'm GOLDEN for like a year. Haha

Re: Gorgeous Indie Game GRIS Given PS5 Version, Runs at 4K 120fps

invictus4000

@thefourfoldroot1 GRIS is one of the best games of all time. Its one of those games you don't play, but experience.
Its about dealing with and overcoming grief and its extremely moving though open for a lot of interpretation. Not a word is spoken in the game and I cried at the end (and do everytime). I dont wanna give away too much but the art and colors play into the theme as well. Also it has one of the best soundtracks of all time.
If you never play it, you are truly missing out on something special. My friend is a family therapist and he uses it in his practice with traumatized kids too which is really cool.
