I dont understand why it isn't capable of flat 4k when it can do it for VR2 games. Isn't playing a pancake game much less taxing than a VR game? Shouldn't it run better in this mode than on a TV? Maybe someone can explain.

Impatiently awaiting launch day where I have taken PTO from work to play the 9 launch games I got....

So ridiculous. Old fans like me only wanted a faithful remake and people that didn't know the old game would have loved the original story. Its beloved for a reason...so don't give me this crap about changing everything for anyone's sake but your own.

I understand what he's saying. It would be a waste of an opportunity to just make a word for word, shot for shot recreation. But the parts they greatly expanded on from the original while keeping the same story were enough to make it feel fresh. You didn't need to make it Kingdom Hearts.

He just wants excuses to justify his stupid nonsensical Kingdom Hearts garbage. I'm on the fence about continuing on with the sequel. Lifes too busy to invest in a game that will likely get dumber as it goes. We will see.

This game won't look so great when it launches on 2028.

Wish they would keep the OG script but you know dialogue is gonna change a ton as they always do in remakes.

Please don't do my favorite game of all time, FF9, dirty like you did FF7.

At least the pixel remasters are FINALLY coming to consoles...

9 was the last truly good FF for me (and my favorite game of all time) but this seems to be a lot closer to what I believe FF should be. Preordered and pretty excited despite the battle system being 100% Devil May Cry. I can deal with it though if the story is solid and classic exploration/menus/parties etc are present. I'm a tad bit worried about those things still.

My GOTY hands down.

@Uncharted2007 I've pre-ordered and am hyped beyond belief for VR2, but I hear ya on the motion sickness thing. I would play VR1 for long periods and get splitting motion headaches and feel sick all day. Hoping the 4k OLED display will help with that, not to mention I've learned I need glasses since then. Lol

Looks waaaay better than the super ugly massive banner for PSVR1 games.

For me, the VR2 is the biggest, most exciting launch lineup in console history. Usually a system launches with 1-2 games I'm interested in but this one has like, 10 day 1 purchases. How am I gonna play all this?? Lol

Can we get a moment of silence for the FIRST two shots of actual exploration and traversal in this game? I mean the trailer was awesome but I'm still worried its been all about cinematics and explosions. Are we getting Final Fantasy of Devil May Cry? I'm still not sure...

YAAASSS Been waiting for this announcement! Those upgrades look amazing! More than happy to pay again for them, especially since I held off on Moss 2 hoping for a VR2 version. Day 1!
Now just bring me my Astrobot and I'm freaking SET.

Kind of a bummer but the games are so freaking good I don't really care. I'm more than happy to pay the $35 for both of them.

@thefourfoldroot1 GRIS is one of the best games of all time. Its one of those games you don't play, but experience.
Its about dealing with and overcoming grief and its extremely moving though open for a lot of interpretation. Not a word is spoken in the game and I cried at the end (and do everytime). I dont wanna give away too much but the art and colors play into the theme as well. Also it has one of the best soundtracks of all time.
If you never play it, you are truly missing out on something special. My friend is a family therapist and he uses it in his practice with traumatized kids too which is really cool.

Horizon Forbidden West deserves GOTY in my book by far. But then again, I absolutely despise Elden Ring. Haha. Elden Ring will hands down win though.

Now this is a season I can get behind...time to RIP AND TEAR, BABY!

Now do the same for Astrobot Rescue Mission and Moss 1 & 2 and I'll be a very happy camper!

I'm very excited for this game but still have a few concerns. I'm an old bat so I won't sit here and complain about the lack of turn-based battles (I can sadly accept its dead) but the lack of any exploration, party members, classic management menus, etc. has me slightly worried. We've seen enough story and combat. Let me see traversal and exploration.

Always wanted to play this but never did. The characters look like Cabbage Patch kids. Lol

Combine this tech with VR2 please...

This season was really boring to me and the battle pass was SUPER meh but I'm pumped for the next one. It needs another refresh! Crossovers and skins I still want:

• TMNT
• Power Rangers
• Metroid (or any Nintendo thing)
• Lord of the Rings
• Metallica

Had never even heard of it till today.

Soooo looking forward to this game as a return to form for FF. Hoping the last trailer will squash some of my remaining fears concerning it. I need to see more about traversal and exploration. Not to mention party members.
