@Neonix 100% agree. Haven't played the DLC yet (almost done with FF6 Pixel Remaster first) but had this pre-ordered for a while. I'll see how it feels but if its all in your face and front and center in Horizon 3, I'll also be sadly checking out of this amazing series prematurely. I won't support agenda pushing. This is the trending checkbox right now and not only does it go against my values, but it just straight up pulls you out of the narrative and ruins the immersion imho.

I really appreciate your civil insights and watched with fascination as the same thing happened that always happens: people start screaming for inclusivity while rejecting all other ideas. The very thing you pointed out several times. Hypocrisy at its finest.
And as a traditional value Christian I can attest to your argument. I've missed SO many cool-looking AAA games because society no longer "includes" people with traditional standards. The irony is uncanny. Haha.
Having said that...I'll wait and see what Horizon 3 ends up offering but I'm likely exiting the series over this. You hit the nail right on the head. It broke the promise to the player set in Horizon 1 and forced a character onto me I dont want to follow. I hope all who dont mind enjoy the game but I dont need it in my life or in my house.

One of the best games of all time. Things like Burning Shores and Advance Wars took a back seat so I could play through this again first. Haha

I'm sure the DLC is great (I bought it but haven't played it yet) but I'm praying to all that is holy that this review bombing incident makes them reconsider the direction they took. Hoping they shoehorned this stuff into the optional DLC to tick that mandatory box and be done with it. If Horizon 3 makes this stuff front and center, I'll be very sadly exiting the series. I respect everyone's opinion on the matter but personally am very disappointed.

The killer app is Resident Evil 8. Those saying there is no killer app have not played that yet. Call of the Mountain was also amazing though.

I'm with everyone else commenting so far. The VR2 has been the most exciting gaming related thing since the Switch launched. The quality is insane and worth every penny. Got 7 VR2 games at launch and none of them disappointed. RE8, CotM, Kayak, Demeo, Moss 1, Moss 2 and No Man's Sky.

Now just give me a port of Rescue Mission and I can die happy.

Even though the backlog was 100% clear just in January, I'm already drowning in games. Almost done with Wild Arms 2 then I need to get Legend of Dragoon done before Horizon DLC and FF6 Pixel Remaster drop this month. Still have some VR2 games I didn't get to yet as well.

@itsfoz Right!? My backlog was all clear in January...but this year is the Apocalypse for my wallet. My list has grown to about 10 new games to play and they just keep coming. Haha

Cross-gen definitely needs to be a thing of thr past at this point. Especially now that 5's are pretty widely available.

Hype level is at a 7. It looks awesome but I'm eager to see thier promised tour of RPG elements and still nervous about the M rated content being shoehorned in simply to force it to be more gritty and dark when instead it will just be awkward.

As a massive Tolkien fan I have to be interested and will likely get it if it reviews decently. I am all for more people exploring a Middle Earth not based on the Jackson films (even though I love those).

Been playing the Moss games, Call of the Mountain, and RE8 first and I've been saving NMS until the end...cannot WAIT to play it again on VR2. It was soooo ugly on VR1 and the controllers were beyond bad but the game was so awe-inspiring I couldn't stop playing. This is gonna be epic......

SE would likely get better sales if they made games that were good like they used to. I dunno, I'm no doctor.

I wouldn't want this necessarily for Forbidden West or RE8, but playing Legend of Dragoon or Wild Arms 2 on my phone would be cool! Sadly...the DuelSense is not compatible with my "ancient" Samsung Galaxy S9 phone. Lol

I was gifted the Quest 2 at my company's Christmas party when I had already pre-ordered VR2. So now I have a "home console" headset in the VR2 and a "portable" console in the Quest. I think of the Quest as the Nintendo DS of VR. Haha

Still very nervous about this game. Lots of things looking really good but I just have a weird feeling about it all. Hope I'm wrong.

Not being a troll but I honestly don't know why people love this art style. I personally think this series are two of the ugliest games I've ever seen (and Im a 90s RPG fanatic). Its dark and muddy and blurry and just doesn't look good at all imo.
I tried the demos too and thought the storys were really shallow and boring too.
I'm sure I'm the only one that thinks that...but does anyone else?
