I just want legacy games. Praying I don't have to pay a pricey tier for features I'll never use.

Still need a freaking PS5.

Yeah....I have zero expectations. No FF16 or FF7R2 and no Project Spartacus. Hoping its a packed 20 minutes.

Everyday I dont have a PS5 hurts me more and more.

Wish I could get a PS5 so badly! But Horizon 2 on my OG PS4 is still great.

I'll pass. Was hoping it wouldn't have that trademark insane difficulty. Thats a turn off for me personally that trumps all other good things about it.

@TooBarFoo That's amazing that you use NMS to escape your wheelchair! So glad you've invested in a powerhouse PC so you can treat yourself to experiences like that.

Yeah, even with very low quality and with the frankly trash Move controllers, playing NMS in VR is an experience I'll never forget. There are a handful of moments in my 30-year gaming career that were standout moments of magic. Things that redefined the way I see games and what they can do. Taking off into the vastness of space in my rickety ship in NMS VR was one of those moments.

I can't believe how good this game looks in the screenshots. I've only ever played it in PSVR where it literally looks like a PS2 game. Haha. Its still incredible though. The amount of updates is nothing short of mind boggling. Every time I see an update I feel like I have to start over. Maybe I'll wait until I have the PS5 and VR2. Lol

Dang...that means the VR2 is still a long ways out.

One of the main reasons I want a PS5. But obviously there's no point in caring about this until I get one which may be years from now at this rate...

I'm thinking I'm just gonna wait for a mid gen iteration. It will take that long for FF16 and VR2 to arrive anyway.

I remember the launch well. Me and my bro got it day 1 and it blew our minds. That said...since they are doing an FF7 anniversary....that means they'll do one for 8 and 9 too right.....?

I would hate so much if they added PS1, 2 and 3 compatibility but you had to pay for a higher tier. I've never been a PS Plus member because even the base tier has never had value for me at all. It would be sad to pay some outrageous yearly subscription price for only the backwards compatibility.

I thought this was off the table after that dumb mobile cross over thing was confirmed? Is this rumor still alive??
I'll be happy for anything that may lead to a Trigger remaster or remake.

This for sure isn't that. But I'm still holding out that it will happen down the line. It would for sure tip the scales for me to get a PS5. Sooooo many classics that are inexplicably MIA.

@Nepp67 You're honestly right. FF7R had some major problems but was alright, and though I'm not into MMOs, 14 seems good. I'm really excited for 16 going old school again. Just knowing its medieval fantasy gives me hope.

Never heard of this but man, it looks dope! Its refreshing to see good character and art design in a JRPG again.

PS1 and 2 games on the system will literally make me sign up for anything they offer. None of the benefits of Plus and Now appeal to me though so hopefully I wouldn't have to pay a crap ton if money to get to the third tier.

Could I FINALLY get to play Legend of Dragoon and Megaman Legends again??

My money is on them breaking and bringing it to other consoles, maybe even just PC since nobody has or cares about XBox. They will be missing a TON of sales potential.

One of them BETTER be a Legend of Dragoon remake. 😄 That would sell me on the PS5 instantly. Lol

Imagine if they put as much effort as they do on re-releasing Skyrim into actually making Elder Scrolls 6.

Its amazing how Nintendo went from the laughing stock of the industry with WiiU to the king of the hill once again in just 4 years. Goes to show you how a few strategic business decisions can change everything.
But I'm with a lot of you...although alarming, I'm sure numbers that included digital sales would shift the picture a lot. Either way, the old adage still holds true: no games, no sales. Switch has all the games, PS5 has no games.

I dont understand trophies in general to be honest. Never understood why people make such a big deal about them or what the appeal is. I actually find them kind of annoying. Lol

WOW! This is such awesome news! Sonys SoPs are usually so lame so I decided not to tune in (especially since it was focusing on that dumb Death Loop game) and of course the one time I dont watch, they show Moss 2! Sooooo stoked! The first one is hands down one of the best VR games out there!

@Unlucky13 Whoa you crazy! Haha. To each his own I guess. 9 is my favorite in the entire series and I also started with the NES originals. In fact, everything after 9 I consider to be not only the worst FFs, but some of the worst RPGs of all time. Since the series died for me after 9, my faves go:
1) FF9
2) FF8
3) FF6
4) FF4
5) FF7
