Very much looking real. Given its early development footage, looking great. Bit concerned some mechanics are looking too cut and paste baring in mind it’s next gen though..

Surely a lot of it has to do with COVID still - there was a lot of back up on development because of it.

It’s a similar ‘issue’ with the film industry.

Yeah, got similar comments to those above. I will give it the benefit of the doubt through patches though. If it’s not much better in two months shame on them.

@themightyant Ah fair enough but yes, they need to fully flesh out that feature for sure. Also, on the games that do allow you to jump in when there’s multiple modes available (such as a sports game - F1 for instance) it often doesn’t display all modes so it’s really hit and miss what you can jump into.

I mean, can anyone be genuinely surprised by this news? They want to get away from the sh**show as fast possible and quite rightly too.

I am however looking forward to playing the game again at somepoint now it's been ironed out somewhat but regardless, emphasis is now surely all on Witcher.

Would like the full Discord announcement to arrive. Also, can’t remember whether it’s hardware related so can’t be changed or they said it could come in the future but will we ever see the ability to ‘rest’ a game while playing another.

Aware you can do it if you stream a game while playing an installed game but streaming is rough. I use wired connection and it’s still laggy.

Yeah I’ll wait for the big PS5 update then. I half played it way back at the start so actually looking forward to waiting a few months and playing the ‘proper’ game.

After all this, wouldn’t be surprised if people are Call of Duty fatigued just by the amount of news on it and its next entries are nowhere near as popular.

@TrickyDicky99 Actually, FPS and resolution can really change a game. Take a look at Last of Us on PS3 vs PS4; in my view that’s a completely different game.

Think the deal will go ahead but maybe our government will do something good and put in some clauses that mean MS have to ensure Sony get all of the games still: might work in our favour this.

I’ve never been a fan of VR but even this PSVR interests me.

And then I think about how much it’s going to end up costing and chuckle to myself.

@Chaotic_Goat - I completely agree. I paid for the more expensive game to get these for free. I was promised story DLC and this just isn’t that. Surprised as Techland normally are good with this type of thing but yeah this is rubbish.

I’ve got faith in Premium - I reckon there’s a reason it’s quiet on classics. They’re closer then we think to PS3 emulator I reckon and it’s about to go tip top for classics.

Can’t wait to see Xbox advertising all over it.

I’ll be interested how Stray, F1 Manager and Two Point Campus sell and their engagement figures: they are the very few under £50 games and if they are hugely successful I really hope it encourages Sony to drop the quite frankly ludicrous £70 games in the current times. It won’t help.

How far are they with the PS3 emulator do we think? Wonder if they are nearly there and waiting for that to be done before really going mad with Classics?

I say that because although this is amazing for Extra, Premiums offer is really, really bad.

Got a good feeling about GTA remasters not doing well and this one having bad press and probably not doing well until on sale/given in PS Plus.

It probably means overtime we’ll see less of these stunts as people want some new IP or sequels more so now, especially with games being more expensive.

How I see this is that they are spending a great deal of resources and money in emulating the PS3 so by doing this, they can resell some old gadgets to work with them which will grant them some pocket money for the work done?

Doesn’t help that Sony don’t release regular general updates on other games and just makes blog posts and State of Plays more often.

It’s the fact we get an update once every couple of months on anything meaningful which means if they’re silent about one game social media goes crazy. It’s not a good look or marketing strategy they have at the moment,

As someone paying for Premium I actually think this is a great announcement (if true). Crash 4 is amazing and as for Man of Medan; the fact this means you keep it permanently is a bonus even to those of us who already have access.

I’m paying per month until I know which tier to go annually for. Not enough of a roadmap for me yet to see what’s worth getting.

They best have lengthy agreements for these games. Worried as some have already been removed. We actually need a chance to play them in their entirety.

For me, and it terms of first party only, knowing when the likes of GT7 and Horizon FW will be entering Extra will show me how serious Playstation are taking the future of this subscription service.

Too long before they put their own big hitters on there and relying on indie exclusives will, over time, shrink its base.

I feel that the Premium should, perhaps, have arrived later down the line. It's clear the classics range wasn't ready and it's not entirely visible yet as to how successful they've been getting third parties to provide full trials. They say it's a requirement but are they really going to refuse developers who say no? Mmm.

PS Plus rollout complete so makes sense for movement on other things next week; also would expect the same State of Play to have a little teaser on what’s coming to the service in July which will end with the signature SNAKKEEEE scream.
