Re: Rumour: PS5 Pro Still Planned to Release in 2024, State of Play Coming in September

I have a weird feeling with this. Feels like they’re getting outlets to leak this to test the waters and then if enough people are against it, the leaks will magically move to ‘Sony have actually been working on a PS6 this whole time and will put proposed PS5 Pro tech into it’ and it won’t come out for another 2-3 years. If the idea of a PS5 Pro sounds positive to enough of the community for their liking then they’ll green light it.

I just don’t understand how this has been leaked for nearly a year now with no word from Sony at all.

All business speak and clever use of statistics. PC numbers have done them well as you point out, highly doubt people have been using PlayStations specifically very much at all this year in comparison to previous years.

But hey, I’m the enthusiast who would believe that I suppose.

Regardless if I’m right or wrong, it’s been the most woeful single party generation PlayStation’s ever had for quality… and quantity.

This looks incredible and I’m so pumped for it. I can only imagine ‘that moment’ will be the most viral piece of TV ever. Those who haven’t played the game will be shocked and those that have will be super intrigued to see it play out in ‘reality’.

I won’t be playing it. I don’t want PlayStation to become a live service brand and I support them for their single player games which they are known for.

Sad to see Push Square counting everyone as ‘haters’ to gain some article traction in a previous article.

You have to make a stand to steer a company’s direction sometimes and if this happens out of Concord’s failure then so be it. We all paid for a console and regularly put money in their pockets for subscriptions and games, and I didn’t do that to support the rise of live service and the neglect of what they’re renowned for.
