@QualityGeezer Expanse quality went way down when it transition to Amazon. It had all the hallmarks of a boss lumping a project they didn't want, which is what rumour to have happens, Bazos demanded they picked up The Expanse.
I would have prefered the show to have been done by Apple, which have one shown it will fund a show even if its numbers are small, an fund them well. An well it frankly the home of science fiction at the moment.
Ghost wire Tokyo been on my radar for a while, so looking forward to cracking that open. And hot wheels should be fun i presume. I'm not sure what the ones moaning about this selection wants
@RoomWithaMoose or allow team Asobi to create something new from scratch. Whilst also creating content for astro bot an astro bot playroom. Don't destroy such creativity by getting them to just pumping out astrobot game's.
@ZeroSum They probably place bets on the share price falling already, short sellers like these guys are crooks. Fact is Roblox is ridiculous profitable and unlike Epic, isn't using the money from it to fund other projects and parts of the studio alive. I bet they are sitting on a mountain of cash, in fact they got a money pile of nearly 3bn.
Most days in my tesco stores we are constantly selling Roblox cards, I don't doubt it popularity at all. I also don't trust reports from what I consider the scum of wall street.
@Widey85 Well they had two games in the works, Marathon, an a 2nd undisclosed game which Sony has now hive off into it own studio, presumably because they didn't trust Bundie management not to screw it up.
@Flaming_Kaiser I believe they had a clause in the contract which prevented Sony management from interfering the running off the company, as long as they met certain agreed targets. They failed to achieve those targets, giving Sony the ability to go in and sort the company out.
Next Gen is looking very skippable at the minute. But might also be gen where there a much clearer break between ps5 and 6 with many ps6 exclusives that are heavily reliant on ray tracing.
There been a showcase every year in September since 2019. So yeah they are likely to keep up with that pattern. I can tell you which months the 2025 showcases will be in if you want?
I would argue Concord was launched well, the game function perfectly, largely bug free, it had a good ad campaign an budget. An a on going marketing support plan, Secret Level for example. An a regular release of new animation shorts.
Games just didn't take to the game and didn't buy it, that doesn't mean it wasn't launched well.
They are brilliant at telling a story. I seriously doubt everything they show in the video was built in a few weeks. I suspect most if not all of the features was taken from their new game .
If there was a few PVE story missions as jobs I would have paid. But it doesn't have the hype of helldiver 2 and the player base and I don't want to buy a game dead on arrival.
If I could walk around the ship and added stuff that could also be enjoyable.
It clear Sony is slowly taking control of Bungie. I don't think this is Microsoft situation where management will buy Sony out either. I wouldn't be surprised if in five years it a completely different management team and all that really remains is Bungie the name, and Destiny and Marathon and it other IPs.
It seems the only thing it really got was the name. When you considered what else was up for sale, Square Enix flogging it's western studios around that time for less money, you got to wonder if Sony would have gotten a better return elsewhere.
Also thinking Bungie wasn't going to be integrated into Sony PlayStation Studios eventually was delusional on the part of the management.
It about price price and price. £35 quid and it might pretty well. It will need a bit of love and attention from Sony over the next year. An a solid road map
@GamingFan4Lyf Thing is it working. ghost of tsushima is there best selling game to date on stream. The loud mouths crying about PSN requirements is very much a minority.
From the trailer it seems a AI went rogue it both hates and love humans. But there also something else, something that is playing a game with the AI. This could be interesting.
@TheAmbienWalrus I'm honestly surprised it hasn't happen already, especially EA football game, ads boards surrounding footballs. I suspect that may be FIFA ban it.
@Fyz306903 They might actually shut that loss making division down. Sony has a nice business making shows for other streaming network, netflix and apple and HBO who front the money and thr risk and Sony just takes profit's from charging for producing the content.
That would be a cheaper strategy than trying to turnaround paramount+ which has loss billions.

@Markatron84 Most of that IP was acquired via acquisition. Not home grown from the ground up by Sony. I think that the point he was trying to make.
