@get2sammyb seeing the mini-review in this article, all the comments, and the overwhelming support for the game from your co-workers, I doubt you're gonna get much agreement or sympathy on that point.
According to Sony themselves, they intend to have two big shows every year now. E3, and then they'll probably alternate between PSX, and probably PGW or GamesCom. I think it's fine. I'd prefer PSX, because it's much more fan focused, but as long as they get their news out in a way that's comfortable and at a reasonable pace, I'm happy.
I mean, as a Portal fanboy, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't going to buy this. That being said, when rumours started cropping up about a Portal related announcement at The Game Awards, this is definitely not what I envisioned. I mean, I tried to temper my expectations. No Portal 3, obviously. But...I dunno. A remaster collection? A VR remaster, or even just experience? Something. Not... not this.
I was a little torn between Delsin and Wei. He has such classic lines, and Sleeping Dogs is still so slept on. Unfortunately I can't quote most of his lines on this here family friendly website, but those of you who know what I'm talking about, KNOW what I'm talking about.
It is worth keeping in mind that VERY early this year, one of the creators of DMC said he'd be announcing a new game this year, and that has yet to happen. As for SC VI...in my wildest dreams. They can go ahead and announce Puppeteer 2 while they're at it
I just beat it, and personally, I enjoyed it a lot. It has its issues, certainly. A few moments of slippery control, particularly as the Avatar stand out. But overall, it is a much more polished version of the groundwork they laid out with Generations, but prettier and with more focus, fewer glitches, and more to do. The soundtrack is also great. Definitely a standout for me.
Hey, I don't mean to sound rude or anything, but how come no one talks about the DLC? Reviewers seem to give somewhat of a pass to multiplayer heavy games (like Overwatch) for having relatively little content at launch, but providing free stuff promised down the line. And from what I've heard (please correct me if I'm wrong), there will be several tracks and several hundred cars released for free, with no noticeable microtransactions from what I've seen, just by the end of this year. Considering pretty much everyone praises the handling, the graphics, the strong netcode, the cool matchmaking system, and really everything else a game like this needs, but knocks it down for a perceived lack of content (which at this point is totally valid), that seems like something that would be worth mentioning. I dunno. Just something that's been bugging me lately. Sorry for rambling.
The last big shakeup I remember like this was Tretton to Layden, and that worked out okay, so I'm very hopeful for this. That being said, I'll miss Andy. He's been a big part of PlayStation, and more publicly the conferences, for many, many, MANY years. I'll never forget when he got to be the one to finally, publicly say "PlayStation 4". I wish him all the best, and hope they give him one last hurrah at PSX or PGW.
If this is real, it will 100% be a day one buy. I'll own physical, original versions of all the Shenmue games, since I own 1 and 2 on the Dreamcast, and ponied up enough to the Kickstarter to get that physical. Plus the second disc on Shenmue 1 is ruined and my copy of Shenmue 2, though mint, is European, and I only have an American Dreamcast, so this remaster would let me actually play them, which would be cool.
Gotta get my boy Noctis in there, man! I'd also really like to see Sora as a DLC character somewhere down the line, but I'm not counting on it. That'd be really tight though.
Finally! God I'm excited. I know you guys aren't, because you hate video games, but I am. This is the team that made Generations, after all. Plus, I have my own theory for the existence of Infinite, and why he's so hilariously edgy. And it is very tongue in cheek.
I don't mean to sound dumb, but where do I download it? I'm from America, so it might not have updated yet, but this seems like a weird thing, so can I just find it through the normal DLC tab, or... what?
My guess would be Persona 5 Ruby. It's a precious material that matches with the pallet of P5 (red), just like Golden matched with P4's pallet (yellow). It could certainly be racing, though. There's already driving in the base game, kinda.
Really hoping for a return to old light fun franchises, now with VR. Things like Time Crisis and House of the Dead would be incredible with VR and the aim controller
I dunno what you guys are talking about. Every Playstation EU YouTube video I've seen recently ends with the Pro, and a logo touting it as "The World's Most Powerful Console". Though I suppose you're right in saying this is one of the only specific ads for it.
I don't think the areas under construction are new game teases, I think it's just them trying to be accurate to what Bethesda games are like at launch.

@KitsuneNight "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse". Look up the trailer, it actually looks fantastic
Re: Spider-Man Will Swing to PS4 in 2018, Stay Tuned for More
I think it's gonna launch around the same time as the new animated Spider-Man movie. It's a double whammy for both Sony and Spider-Man.
Re: Guide: Best God of War Games Ranked
This is an accurate list. Frankly, all I cared about was Ascension being on the bottom, and 2 being at the top. So thank you.

@Quintumply as long as they're not as vile about it as some developers glares at Turn10 Studios

All I want is a VR remake of House of the Dead Overkill. That's it, really.
Re: Game of the Year 2017: Liam's Personal Picks
The more of you that put Persona 5 in your top 5, the angrier Sammy gets, since he hates it so much
Re: Jet Set Radio Evo Pitched to SEGA, Sony Loved Concept
@Bliquid perhaps, but... it's definitely well within the realm of possibility
Re: Jet Set Radio Evo Pitched to SEGA, Sony Loved Concept
I feel like you're all ignoring the possibility that Sega is already working on a new Jet Set, and simply have no need for something like this.

Re: THQ Nordic Will Reveal Its Next Project at The Game Awards Tonight
@AFCC that's the best part, unfortunately. It really is so boring
Re: THQ Nordic Will Reveal Its Next Project at The Game Awards Tonight
@AFCC Armageddon was a big letdown, unfortunately. Very linear. Great weapons though.

Garula. The creature you're thinking of is the Garula.

Since this demo has so much stuff and carries over to the full game, I bet it actually has most, if not all of the game. Just locked.
