@Nepp67 If anything the failure of Cyberpunk(I know that it sold well) guarantees that open world games will continue using the same formula that Ubisoft created in 2012. It's too scary and hard to attempt something bigger unless you are Rockstar.

The only thing more boring than collecting ***** in games is writing a guide about collecting ***** in games. I salute the person who sacrificed a piece of his soul to do this.

Maybe they quit. I imagine that making a game as boring and repetitive as Mafia 3 isn't very fun. Soul draining.

I love the fact that Cyberpunk 2077 will never become the second cash cow of CDPR. A small justice in the grand scheme of things, but it's better than nothing.

I can't wait to walk up to a symbol on my map, receive a phone call and a pdf that I won't read and infiltrate a building/rooftop so I can kill/hack/kidnap something. What a great gameplay loop! Games are so creative nowadays!

@truerbluer Games like Kena and Sifu don't support the Dualsense on PC just because the devs are lazy or incompetent.

@truerbluer The Dualsense has been supported on the PC since day 1. And the RTX 4080 will be the hardest GPU to get so good luck with that.

@MisterMist The SSD is pretty nice, but at the end of the day it's all marketing. The extra horse power that PC components have outperform the PS5 storage tech. And by the end of the year when Direct Storage launches Sony will probably stop competing on that front.

I would complain about the fact that they are just ripping off mediocre 80's cliches, but their original stories are even less interesting.

They apparently have a lot of money laying around if they can afford former WCW Heavyweight champion of the world David Arquette so why can't they hire some decent writers?

@IonMagi I always feel a little bit uncomfortable knowing just how easy it is to pirate games on PC. It's like being embarrassed by your mom coming to school to pick you up. Sony should lower the price to ~50 dollars/40 euro and people will buy it though.

Second of all you can definitely be disappointed even if you keep your expectations in check. For example: I kinda knew that Elden Ring was going to be just open world Dark Souls, but I was still disappointed by how little the formula has evolved. I can say the same for Horizon, Halo etc

I love micro transactions. We all know how big and grindy games can be and there is nothing that can be done about that it's just a matter of fact. We should applaud companies like Ubisoft and EA that give us the opportunity to save time.

Sony should release TLOU Remake and TLOU2 Directors Cut on PC when the TV show launches. I already streamed these games through PS now, but I want to replay them with all of the bells and whistles.

VR is not evolving fast enough. Sony should have been working on the PSVR3 imo.

@Apfelschteiner Sony has a lot of games though. Maybe the launcher won't happen, but they are still going to make a lot more money if their games are multiplatform which is the important thing.

@truerbluer There are rumors and it's also common sense. If Sony are not planning to use their own launcher on PC they are just leaving money on the table.

Exclusives definitely help sell consoles, but Sony will make a lot more money if their games are multi platform.

PC is the platform with the extra memory and horse power in case you have forgotten. Also, you can connect and use every device on pc. I used the Dualsense motion aiming capabilities with Breath Of The Wild on PC. There is nothing unique about consoles. It's all marketing.

@Gbarsotini Why do you hate gaming on a pc? I keep hearing that sentence and it doesn't make any sense. Buy a controller. Connect it to a TV. Use a graphical preset. After you become more comfortable with the setup you can try playing PC only games, modding or emulation.

@OmegaStriver Might as well buy a Valve Index instead of a switch. I am pretty sure that the CPU inside that console is good enough to use Yuzu.

I don't know about any of you, but I'd love to see the end of dedicated gaming hardware. I switched to PC after the PS3 era and I have been able to emulate Breath Of The Wild and Stream Last of Us 2 on the same platform while using a Nintendo/Sony controllers which is just amazing.

I am not at all excited about the future of PC components too because they are just going to become louder and hotter and more expensive as time goes on.. Whoever manages to create an acceptable streaming experience throughout the planet is going to dominate the market imo.

What can Activision do to save COD? Create a bigger 20 hour campaign? Change the setting? Return to the old setting?
