Most anticipated game in ages! I just really would like to know more about the day one benefits on PS5, and when the proper next gen patch is expected to drop. Aaaan what benefits THAT will bring. That would help me decide when to pick it up. When I buy the console? Or when the true next gen patch drops...

Should "Control" really be on this list? "Free unless you pay"? Doesn't sound right. Maybe it should simply be listed as "Control Ultimate edition" instead, since the none ultimate doesn't offer a free upgrade

Nothing in this is based on the PS2 port. Mafia was very much a pc game first. It's not a "PS2" game. That's like saying Horizon is a PC game

I can imagine they'll either implement a cut down series of splash screens, or it is legally sufficient that players sit through them all the first time you boot up a game.

I could never get into that game. The fulcrum mechanic, having to research and what's not, to hide in a box, ridiculous cast and incoherent story. I just thought it felt like a pretentious, mediocre, tedious slogfest

2021 is not a date. It's not even a "target release date". What's my birthday, you ask? 1982...give or take a few days

Many good games look like they could run on SNES

It's vikings, but you don't get to explore their homes and own world. I'm from Denmark, and I'd have loved to see a map of Scandinavia instead, where the wars between nations could have been present at all times, like in Odyssey. Now it's like Vikings...but it's England. A bit like if Odyssey was still en Egypt

I think it might have something to do with the insane speed at which data is shuffled around. Reading and writing that much data so fast, and so often. But that's pretty much all I can take away from it. I've just seen the monstrous cooling solutions some of these drives require.

The one with the drive. I have a lot of physical games. Probably around 80 or something. Besides, I would love the opportunity to buy 4K blu ray movies. I just hope this time they also support audio cd's like they did on PS3. That thing can even rip cd's and store them on the hdd. Great, because I still use an mp3 player, and I have a whole lot of music on cd. Generally I just have so much stuff on physical media that it would be dumb of me to opt for the digital version, but I totally understand why some people do!

And I'm saying it's wrong. I guarantee you Nvme drives such as the one found inside the PS5 gets MUCH hotter than an HDD. I ask again. Have you ever seen an HDD with a heatsink?
Besides, the drive in the picture is a sata SSD. Big difference, as it's a lot slower than an Nvme

Wrong! The type of SSD in the PS5 gets very hot! Most have their own heatsink, many even have their own fan. By your logic, a cpu and a gpu wouldn't run hot either, because they don't have any moving parts.

Yeah...I just can't get hyped for this game. I really enjoyed the general atmosphere of the first, and the second was my first plat. But this just hasn't got anything enticing for me, and I think the setting is bad.

Am I willing to wait? Well, I want to play it, so I haven't really got a choice, have I? Now I just hope they'll have a PS5 patch ready too.

I think they should have given it a bit of fresh paint, like higher detail meshes and better textures. That would already make a huge difference. Either that or sell it at half the price it is now

I thought the exact same thing. Very GTA 😅 she mentioned that we'll get more info on the the next gen version soon. Hopefully on the next episode. I'll just carry on keeping my hopes up.

Well, they've stayed already that the game will be enhanced on next gen consoles from day one, but a more extensive patch will follow in 2021

Wrong. They just have to be playable on ps5 through backwards compatibility, meaning they'll not be ps5 versions, they'll just be ps4 games running on ps5.

Ace combat 7 and Battlefield 1 are the only mulitplayer games I have ever really played, because of the flying. Count me in!

I really enjoyed the first game. This looks even better. I'm amazed at the draw distance and foliage density in the trailer. Particle effects and volumetric clouds too! It all really does look next gen

They'd be crazy not to release it with some sort of meaningful next gen upgrade at this point

All I'm saying is, if it was early 2021it would have stated so during the reveal. "Targeting" means they hope to get it out during 2021. If it was early 2021, they'd be pretty confident by now that they'd be able to make that deadline
