Well, to be perfectly honest, 75" is still a gigantic screen! I was dreaming about getting one, but by random chance...and an incredible process drop, I ended up with an 85" 🤷‍♀️

@SlipperyFish 120hz is quickly becoming the norm 🤷‍♀️ but yes, it's still a bit of a novelty. It won't be for long though.

I was very close to pulling the trigger on a projector, but decided to get a TV instead, because of a freak price drop. So I got an 85" Samsung QN90B. That way I get a huge picture with picture quality superior to basically any projector, 120hz with vrr, HDR10+ and four hdmi 2.1 inputs. I'm yet to find an affordable projector that can match those specs.

Yes. I'm moving to a bigger house with a dedicated cinema room. My dad cave 😄 I already bought an 85" QN90B. This is gonna be a great excuse to begin a new game as a different...type...class...whatever...

The Chinese Room. Nice. I always like Bloodlines the best when it took its time. It was such a great atmospheric experience, and I csn totally see how TCR would be a good fit for this. They know how to create the vibe and how to build worlds.

Man...I'm genuinely intrigued. I rarely do so, but I might play this game again. How about story? Will it be the same. I found the very noir no win story a bit of a bummer because I'm a sucker for a proper happy ending. Even in a bleak setting.

Well, Rockstar has left Rockstar. They call themselves something else now. I forget. Vicious media or some sh1t. I'll be keeping an eye on them. But this new "Rockstar" is just a reformed shell. The new EA.

It looks like they reused 95 percent of the assets from Origins. Like it could have been DLC.

They sure were, although personally I have a bit more nostalgia for the 486 and PII eras respectively 🤷‍♀️ people often reminisce about the early days of discrete GPU's, but MAN was it cool when 16 bit sound cards became a thing.

Oh, yes. I upgraded a desktop PC back in 2001, just to max...(lol) out the graphics settings. It was an 800mhz Pentium III with 256mb of ram, and a 64mb Geforce2.
It was a BEAST!

But it's not even called "monster". It's called"mønster" which is pronounced much closer to "mönster" 🤷‍♀️

I saw that 🤩 it's so cool. I can't wait to try it in VR! I'm actually considering buying a used quest 2, and run it on PC. It's not as impressive as the PSVR2, but definitely no slouch either, with quite a high resolution display.

2K is 1080p, not 1440p. It annoys me to no end that no one seems to get that. Even the people who really should know.
1920 = close to 2000 = 2k
2560 = close to 2500 =2.5K/qhd (because roughly 4x 720p)

Nope. Just not worth the money when there are plenty of amazing games that both look great and run at 60fps. Since I got the PS5 a year back, I haven't played a single 30fps game. Not one. They've all had a 60fps mode, or simply didn't even have a 30fps mode.

Ok. Fair enough. The majority of the AAA games I've played (that's a lot) and watched analysis of, ran mostly stable. But that's not the same as stating the console was known for it. It just wasn't

60fps is the sweet spot. Just go with dynamic res scaling to sort that part out 😊

You distinctly remember wrong. The PS4 had no problems with 1080p @30fps. The xbox one couldn't handle it, but that's another story. PS4pro generally did 1440p or above. Late gen the PS4 slipped below 1080p in demanding games.
And HD TV's weren't just taking off. 4K was. I think you confuse the PS4 with the PS3.

Try playing any game that has the option on 60fps even for just a few minutes, and then swap to a 30fps mode. You'll notice instantly.

I don't have a problem with this. Any game that'll run on PS4 will run at 60fps on PS5, and look great

I have a very hard time getting excited for this game. I liked the Arkham games for the whole atmosphere and gameplay. This, to me, feels like a DC comics take on the Avengers game. I wish someone would just make a Batman game where you can switch between playing as Batman and Bruce Wayne.

I bought it on PS4pro. It is unbearably ugly. Horrible draw distance with the worst pop in. I played it for an hour...maybe two. Haven't touched it since. And now it's even uglier? Oh, man... 🤦‍♂️

Yay...I became a dad in March. I can play this with my son, once it's out...unless he doesn't live at home any longer. Fingers crossed.

I haven't played the sequel, but as I recall, what you mention is only early on, when the game wants to set you up properly, with a bit of story, skills and what's not. Push through that. It won't last long 😊
