@BAMozzy I said that on pure Xbox yesterday. When some said about a gamepass increase. I said they will hold the gamepass price to try to get subscriptions up as it looks more appealing than ever, of course as long as they can actually release some new top end AAA titles and at £70 now they definitely need to be top end in all aspects for me to purchase. The only game in two years worth the £70 is FH5 to me.
@Fenbops For me it’s more about Xbox quality of AAA. Only FH5 is worth near £70 to me. Halo Infinite and the rest, are definitely not £70 AAA quality and high production.
I would not mind so much But seeing the patches for HFW, which now runs perfect for me and also the recent GOW patches solving many issues. Does real quality control exist anymore.
@Bionic-Spencer Totally agree with you. That company right now and their lack of studio management and their own game releases not happening are messing up this industry and are just buying their way in. Trouble is they will take some stopping not to get their own way in the long run. Even though it’s the wrong way. In the Xbox 360 they were good and ok, but now it’s just pure power and money beating the games market up.
@stinkyx Don’t be sure about that, I work at a place were the paying is very good and at the begin of all this asked a few COD PlayStation fanatics, what they would do if COD went Xbox exclusive.
Without hesitation they all replied, buy an Xbox, simple as that.
@Fenbops Yes what Sony do now with COD and FIFA advertising wise. You can’t blame them it’s clever advertising. Microsoft can do the same if they had not let the deal they had with FIFA and COD go to Sony. Microsoft had that deal years ago. And Microsoft can advertise what they have now but they don’t, they are effortless at the minute. Microsoft could do so much more to promote their console, game pass and games. They only have their own lacklustre effort to blame.
Overall after all said and done to stick my stake in the ground and what Xbox have done or not done games wise with their other new studios they have purchased. I WOULD LIKE ACTIVISION TO STAY INDEPENDENT.
@Fenbops It’s all about it being on game pass day one with exclusive extras and dlc. If Xbox actually advertised it correctly they can almost make it look exclusive as well.
I know I’m daft for stock counting, but in the two years since release of series S and X I have never seen so much stock of these console sitting there unsold in the UK even with the recent Series S price drop. It’s a dam disgrace by Microsoft for Xbox. Also in the USA if they have shortages as so many say on here, then it is a logistical disaster by Microsoft of stock allocation. Far too many in the UK and not enough in the USA. Companies have sacked managers etc for far less, they must have so much money or be so mismanaged or just don’t care. Unbelievable from a management point and business point of few.
I don’t understand why Microsoft don’t just manage their studios, put some hard work in management wise and release some of their own big hitting AAA games. Then start advertising Xbox actually exists and game pass to general public. It’s like they not even trying or bothered.
I don’t understand why Microsoft don’t just manage their studios, put some hard work in management wise and release some of their own big hitting AAA games. Then start advertising Xbox actually exists and game pass to general public. It’s like they not even trying or bothered.
@FatalBubbles One could do, that depends on game preference and yes the game was fantastic on release. But do we really need it all again. I like new games not old ones I’ve played before.
Being honest it is frightening what Microsoft and their money could do if they wished and left to do what they want. They could almost buy the gaming industry and control most of it. Just like the PC world.
I guess it’s ok for some but it’s still years old and not up to HFW or GOWR for example. Why don’t developers focus resources on some new AAA games please.
@Hindenburg Well let’s see what Microsoft do, but so far two years they been a waste of space to me overall. Already delayed 3 big games from 2022 to supposedly by end of June 2023 and we still have no sign of them or promotions etc.
@Hindenburg Well it hasn’t so far and it won’t do. You can tell by Xbox console sales not that many are really interested in game pass, if it was that fabulous then the consoles would sell as well. Sell a console sell a game pass. Actually sales have got worse for Xbox in UK and Europe and even the USA Sony and Nintendo are sometimes nearly doubling weekly Xbox sales. They lost and wasted this generation Xbox. They thought we were cheap and we wanted a load of old games and AA games for cheap on game pass they were wrong. We want real new big AAA games at £70 and we don’t care about cheap game pass.
@Hindenburg I don’t think they really aregetting millions of more people in gaming. I can only go by the UK but both console S and X are sitting on shelves stagnating and really not selling. There is is no new big AAA game attraction and game pass is not all that else the consoles would be selling. Don’t forget every week a 6 year old console and a more expensive console, both without game pass, are now selling over double the Xbox consoles. We are not that interested in Xbox they have failed us yet again.
Well deserved and leading the way, followed by fantastic console sales as well. Thank the god of war, we have these amazing games, and it is not left to that numb nuts of a company called Microsoft with Xbox, to try and release something half decent. I actually now want Sony and Nintendo to bury the hell out of Xbox and Microsoft and hope they leave the console market. Overall they have been worse this new generation than the Xbox one generation and have nothing to show for two years, apart from throwing money around. Let’s bury them for eternity.
The real winners are us the PS4 and PS5 owners. A very good year for Sony AAA exclusives. Let’s hope they can match it 2023, 2022 will be a tough year to beat.
@Jeanhenry Because they had the time and being current generation there is not the old consoles for development to consider. Thought it would help the situation development wise.
Really hope this game hits a home run. My PS5 needs a new very good arcade racer. Guess we will found out very soon. If it misses the mark, it will be such a shame and very bad on the developers and EA. It’s new generation only as well, there is literally no excuse to mess this game up.
@naruball Yes it does seem that way compared to the original sort of first year launch line up. Which was very good for me, Switch wise. They definitely gone down hill of late. Anyway who cares to busy with GOWR.
This Pokémon games, they had such not good reviews and full of bugs. And yet the drones keep buying them. They could release a Pokémon Turd Game and the drones would by it.
Wow what a gaming day. My brother is shopping with his 7 year old son. For a next generation console. Both of them have not a clue even though they have a Switch. They have come out of one shop, phoned me lots of questions. The conclusion from the shop is that Xbox series X has all the Lego games and the PS5 has not. Wow what adults and kids perceive 😂😂😂
@Milomaine Well done mine 65” as well. Amazing TV. Also would recommend a sound system or very good sound bar with dedicated subwoofer and rear speakers. Another game changer in the sound department.
Only just got to the first real realm. Delayed my start for new TV and Dolby Atmos sound system set up. Anyone in the market for a new tv, once adjusted and set the LG C2 is dam amazing for TV, movies and gaming of course. But so far I’m going a 9/10. Amazing game that has me hooked.
@StylesT Glad someone is waiting along with me. I shall start next week. As my new Dolby Atmos sound bar has just arrived and been set up. Having now tested it with movies and HFW I don’t know how I ever played games without it and the rear speaker sensation I now have now. It’s like a game is slightly lost without it and not fully complete or experienced.
@UltimateOtaku91 Shop forced bundles are the worse even Argos and Smyths toys have started joining a little bit as well as the bad Game and especially Curry’s forced bundles to name a few. And in the next breath they are telling you and have adverts how they are trying to help the UK during the cost of living crisis, lying scum bags they are.
@naruball Well we did try pretty hard. But don’t be fooled by the likes of Game UK, as it looks like they have stock fifa bundle console nothing else, when you go to add to your basket they say no stock as Game UK add extra controllers etc and make you buy them with the FIFA bundle. That is not Sony but Game UK making you spend more during these hard times we are going through to get a PS5 disgrace of a shop.
@naruball No work colleague could only get the GOWR bundle and even I tried for him. Anyway worked out well he got my FIFA code I got his GOWR code. So perfect.
@naruball Being fair he has got a good point and it is true. I got a FIFA bundle as I wanted the PS5 model the CFI-12** number. But I got lucky as someone a work go the GOWR bundle and we are swapping game download codes, so good result for me.
@TrickyDicky99 I know that and moaned about it on here before. But got lots of bad press over it for some reason. Especially as it’s a fact not opinion. Sony never daft when it comes to sales tactics.

Some very valid points
Especially the beta testing bit, so many games so many bugs and patches.

Glad me only just started then only at end of first realm. But doesn’t sound like it stopped some getting platinum.

Maybe I’m wrong, but finally 2023 and some new generation only.
Looking forward to this one.
