Planning to fit in some Horizon:ZD, won't have time for much else as we're in silage season atm. Nearing the end of Horizon, just working through the main quest where I've reached Sunfall. Have a couple of corrupted zones to complete then I think I'm on coarse for the plat too
That this looked pretty interesting myself, PS4 needs an open world racer like Xbox has Forza horizon (not saying these games will be of equal quality but it's nice to have a solid open world racer I think)
Hoping for Bloodbourne 2, Dark Souls remaster and a Spyro trilogy remaster. Fearing that From Softwares new game is some mech based game that I'd have no interest in
God CD Project really can't put a foot wrong these days, first they release a great game, then all the free dlc, the great and long dlc, now they're responding to pirates in the correct way. Their like the saviours of the gaming industry
@redd214 Agree, November is a poor launch month, they'll be a new Assassins Creed too which will directly compete with it, January would be the perfect month
Back into Horizon after a forced upon month long break. Just got up to the Carja stronghold the divides the East and West of the map, forgot how gorgeous this game is...and how tough the machines are!! Died a few more times than I'd like to admit. So I'll be ploughing along in that in between work this week end
@Reanfan7 Ya though of what you said when I saw the headline!! Still won't get round to playing it for long while (so many games to play!) but I'll be keeping my eye on it
I'd love a Bloodborne sequel/ Demon souls remaster/ Darks souls remaster. However as Rich Stanton points out, Miyazaki tends to do his best work when creating original games rather than direct sequels (Dark Souls/Bloodbourne) so maybe its for the best if he does move onto something new. Man I'd love a new Bloodborne though!!
In between a mountain of college work I'll continue my trek through the absolutely brilliant Trails in Cold Steel II. Game is even better than the first (something I didn't think was possible) with some great new mechanics and some really great fixes and changes that enhance the experience
Hopefully change it up a good bit, having revisited Skyrim and played Fallout 4, they badly need to update their engine and refresh their quest writing and design @Xaessya
@KratosMD Maybe it's 8 with the prologue? I remember reading somewhere that it's 8 but could be wrong. Ya Class VII are great, really interesting mix of personalities I've got ToCS II waiting in the wings as well but might take a break and go back to Trails in the Sky SC, have to finish that off, got about a quarter of the way through but dropped it :/ now I've changed memory cards so have to start from scratch but I don't mind these are huge games though, I'm nearing 50 hours already!!
Still playing trough Trails in Cold Steel on Vita, up to chapter 6 now (out of 8), still loving the game Also got a PS4 slim in a Gamestop sale (with an extra controller and two games: Battleborn and The Order 1886, both of which I'll be trading in for Persona 5 in the summer). Not touching it till I've finished all my college work but looking forward to finishing Horizon and catching up on Persona 5 and the Sexy Brutale when I do
@Gatatog Sorry to hear about your ca.t, losing a pet is always awful
Got the news that my PS4 is unfixable this week so it'll be lots of vita action for a few months while I save up for another one Been playing lots of Trails of Cold Steel, it continues to be absolutely brilliant:)
Still waiting for my PS4 to be fixed so I'll keep ploughing ahead with Trails on Cold Steel on Vita, brilliant game and one of the Vita's best. It's a must-play for JRPG fans imo
@themcnoisy During the last update I accidentally knocked it off at the power in the middle of the update, now it's stuck in S loop of trying to update then restarting :/ have it in repairs so pretty hopefull it'll work
I've been playing Trails in Cold Steel on Vita as my PS4 is in for repairs. Been also playing championship manager 2007 on the vita too, really wish they md release the last FM game on the vita
@KratosMD Traiks is great isn't it? Feels like something of a hidden gem as it's this amazing JRPG series that no one really talks about about from Jason Schreir at Kotaku.
My PS4 busted itself trying to update itself on 4.5 so it's Vita and 3ds action for me. Been playing Zelda: Link to the Past s good bit so more of that and might start Trails in Cold Steel on my Vita
Anyone having trouble installing the update? Mines had to restart several times and it's currently crawling towards 100% (it seems to be stuck on 97%). I put in a new internal hard drive last year if that's making a difference but I've had no problem with it till now
Full marks to @ScarySim for the write up! I'll be playing Horizon too in between work, about 15 hours in and loving it so far, it's been amazing so far, combat is very satisfying and has a nice amount of depth to it, many of the enemies are challenging enough that you really need to pay attention when fighting more than one of them, the story has been interesting so far (one of my big concerns) and the side quests having been interesting enough too (my other big concern). All in all great game so far and can't wait to finish work to get back to it! P.S. Now would be a great time to bring back your screenshot sharing feature for Horizon
I was so disappointed by the first, wanted to love it and was very excited for it but found the world and story terribly bland, combat was fun and the nemesis system was cool but the world really let it down
@Gold_Ranger preaching to the choir brother!! I'd love a LOTR game made by CD Project Red, if that was ever announced I couldn't pre order it quick enough!
Was playing Ratchet and Clank yesterday, nearly at the end of that I think so might finish it off tomorrow. I've been playing Child of Light on my Vita the last week as I'm away from home, probably play some more of that tomorrow eve after a drive to Dublin. Both very pretty games though I find both of them a bit too simple for my tastes, good enough fun though
I've given up on trying to plat MW: Remaster, that mile high club on Vet is impossible! Started MGS V on Friday so if I get time I'll play more if that, only got to the start of the real game of that ridiculous prologue, how Kodijma was allowed to leave it like that is beyond me. Also started Child of Light on Friday, very very pretty game
@pbernoos DS 3 is great but just wasn't as special as DS1 or Bloodborne for me :/ want to play through it again though to see if I change my mind on it
Finished Metro: 2033 on Friday as part of my backlog clear out plan for the year (good game that's cheaper than chips these days) so I've started playing through COD : Infinite Warfares campaign which has been good so far, I've also started a Death March save on Witcher 3 so I might play through a bit of that as well
Personally, I love the new design, makes it far easier to find things, gives us the opportunity to like articles which well help you guys figure out what we like quicker and the updates for the profiles are fantastic, I no longer have to go to my emails to find out if someone has replied or mentioned me! The games collection is a very cool feature, onwards and upwards for the site!
Hoping to play some Rise of Tomb Raider, Uncharted 4 and Diablo 3. I'm travelling tomorrow so I'll be resorting to my Vita after that, aiming to play some Darkest Dungeon and keep ploughing through Trails in the Sky SC which I just want to finish at this point (great game but very long and I've been on and off it too often so I just want to finish it off)
@themcnoisy it's not being ungrateful, I've always felt people should either put in serious effort when getting a present or else give money/voucher if their unsure what to get or just don't have the time. Getting someone something they don't want/need or already have is a waste of money for them and disappointment for you. I put serious thought into everyone's presents, it's only once a year so everyone can surely do that :/ any ways cheer up and enjoy even prettier games on your Pro! And I'll look forward to some TF2 games when I get time off!!
I'll be playing some RotTR, BF1, Ronin, Oceanhorn and TF2 when I get time, I'm working every night for xmas except the 27th :/ plus I'll be doing a lot of reading and watching movies too!
