@jimbouk yes I would agree that Bethesda probably helped speed it up, but I’d also point to the likes of Tencent and Embracer to that matter being allowed to continue acquiring without any restrictions.

They will get it though the UK in one form or another. Whether that’s a remedy agreement or bypassing the UK will remain to be seen.

I agree to an extent, but however it costs MS a ton more for games and studios than it does Sony, because of the market share so I guess it’s about being shrewd and smart.

There’s a lot of Korean talent out there and very much think both will be investing there. We are already seeing it with Stellar Blade

Looking forward to playing when it launches. I hadn’t touched a Persona game until last year and has now become one of my favourite franchises.

I know a few on here have this weird vendetta against them for some reason, but should want all companies to do well. It's what drives good competition and innovation.

@Uncharted2007 personally think it would have been exclusive regardless of ABK. I can't remember if they announced it post acquisition.

@Uncharted2007 I would strongly think unless Disney have made it a pre-req to be working on one of their licences, it will be exclusive to Xbox and PC.

It will be shown on Sunday at Xbox’s show, I’m sure of it. I wouldn’t be surprise if it’s part of GP but obviously is multi plat.

@Texan_Survivor Pretty sure Quantum Break's IP is owned by Microsoft. Remedy regained the rights for Alan Wake, but not Quantum.

Do think Sony need to do something when it comes to western RPGs and gaining some studios. Someone mentioned Techland earlier, that's a good shout, although I can see the arguments against further consolidation.

Personally can't wait until this is done. They will get it through in some form in both the US and the UK, and then maybe both sides will actually get back to actually putting time into games.

It was poor on the whole for me I’m afraid. Some nice moments and some nice games, Phantom Blade looks really good, but on the whole very underwhelming.

I hope this isn't the future of Playstation lol. Yeah, I think I might have gone in with too high expectations. Some good moments, but on the whole, poor.
