Re: The Last of Us Multiplayer Project Is Officially Cancelled

I kinda saw this coming. Hardly any news had been shared about it and the fact we hardly have any information from other studios is equally worrisome.

I just hope Sony’s first party situation isn’t in some kind of grave trouble following the Ryan departure and the gaas game fiasco.

Re: Reaction: What Happens to PlayStation if Microsoft Buys Activision Blizzard?

I look at it like this. Microsoft saw how important having exclusive COD content was for the Xbox 360. Somehow, Sony was able to wrestle it away during the PS4 generation.

One thing is clear: over the last two generations, both consoles have proven that by having COD exclusive/ marketing rights, we saw Microsoft and Sony both have a more competitive edge than when they didn’t.

But I still believe Sony will ultimately be just fine with their superior first party games and better management.

@Ravix I feel the very same! It’s currently rainy and cool where I live and the world looks set in some cold climate so it’s a perfect time for me to get into it. And I understand about being in the mood to play it. Earlier when the BTs caught me, I loaded an earlier save before the encounter, saved it, and then turned it off. I’ll give it another go once I’m done playing Some Tales of Berseria. My current position is trying to deliver this equipment, package thing to the west of the bridges base. Not sure where you’re at in your game you may be past me.

@Ravix sounds like some great advice. I’ll take it to heart next time I get into it. It’s a game I’ve always wanted to play but like you said, it can be a little complex to learn all of the intricacies. It’s a beautiful game I am loving just getting lost in my observation of its world.

@Ravix I’m playing Death Stranding this weekend also. It’s a little different than most games I’ll admit, but that’s a good thing. I’m actually struggling at times with it; I’ll put a waypoint on my next delivery but when I exit the map, I don’t see it on the field of view.

Re: Sony Will Continue to Make PS4 Games Moving Forwards

@Somebody my point is we should be seeing more PS5 only games and we’re not. I didn’t spend $500 to play PS4 games. The install base for PS5 is over 20 million, and not one Sony game has sold 20 million units that I can think of so why cater to the PS4 crowd still?
