I remember an episode of Top Gear where the lads compared Laguna Seca on Gran Turismo 3 to the real thing and it really does not prepare you.

I never had a problem with it. I only learned it was hard from Youtube about 15 years later.

My first instinct was "you'd have to have more money than sense". But actually the more I think about it the more i think that this probably will increase greatly in value especially if it is indeed a quality item. Probably worth buying if you can tbh.

The mobile market is absolutely huge and growing. And what people keep on forgetting is that Cloud gaming is the future. The day is coming when you will be able to play anything on your mobile.

I don't know why any fan of the Arkham Batman, the Justice League or gaming in general would buy this. Absolute dumpster fire and I am finding it very hard to be sympathetic to anyone involved in it tbh.

My honest opinion is that the old world is dying. Consoles are making way for mobile, people are making way for AI, physical is making way for digital. Lay-offs are going to be inevitable and I think 2025 is going to be no different.

If you only see the new female protagonist twice in the entire game and they are completely silent then it seems a bit disingenuous to claim you've made this decision to attain some kind of "immersive quality".

@darylb24 We HOPE GTA6 will show us what the PS5 can do. But as it now has a 2026 release date it is going to be more of a PS5 Pro or PS6 game.

@Shepherd_Tallon Imo, Microsoft will dump XBox and concentrate on PC. 2/3 or more of people in the world have a PC running Microsoft. Why waste money on a failing console?

Lets be honest about this: Microsoft is Sega. They had one excellent console in the XBox 360/Mega Drive and then everything else since then has been a downward slope. Unlike Sega however, MS has options.

What would make the game ''woke'' is if Ellie was portrayed as a paragon of virtue, ethics and integrity whilst chasing down the straight white male Abby who probably kicks puppies and kittens just to hammer home how evil he is. The reason primarily is because these are not real people. That was a conscious decision made in the writers room to create this situation.

Despite what certain people here are saying, what defines something as ''woke'' is far more nuanced than just ''there is a lesbian in it.''

If you have the mental strength to resist FOMO then frankly you are always better off waiting a couple of months. The game will be patched by then too.

I am yet to be convinced that the standard PS5 isn't a waste of money tbh. This console generation has been such a disappointment to me.

Two years ago I would have given a firm "no". But this is a unique situation we find ourselves in. 50/50 in my opinion.

We are already seeing PS4 and 5 exclusives on PC. Xbox may be dying but its bigger brother isn't.

And frankly, given how many layoffs we've been experiencing in the gaming industry right now, these devs should be thankful that it is ONLY returning to the office that they are having to endure. There are plenty of people down the job centre right now who would love to have that problem.

@ShogunRok Home working has been a failure in many industries but it is absolute death in the creative profession. Good ideas cannot be brainstormed over Zoom with the kids in one ear and your dog in the other. It doesn't work that way.

@itsfoz Yeah, that seems to be the elephant in the room right now. The prime market for consoles (let's be honest with ourselves here) are people who cannot afford a gaming PC. If it costs all that much more than a regular PS5 then you have to start questioning why you don't just save up a bit more for a proper rig. Especially given how few exclusives the PS5 has right now.
