Embracer Group bought Tarsier, but left the Little Nightmares IP behind, so they never got to work on anymore of them, sadly. While this looks good, Reanimal looks even better. It's great to see Tarsier finally working again on the style of games they love to make.

@Burnish1619 All of the games you listed are roguelites, besides Dicey Dungeons - I've never heard of it, so I have no idea what it is.

@PuppetMaster I completely agree that Japan needs to keep being weird, but this game is actually developed by one guy from Spain.

I wonder if Blumhouse can pull any strings with some licensed killers, or do you reckon it would strictly be those that are OC? They did put out 3 Halloween movies, for example.

I'm fully aware that it's salty and cringey and gatekeepy, but I just can't stand seeing this happen to historic PS software. I'm so mad at Sony for the Japanese bridges they're burning...

I have absolutely zero interest in Cyberpunk 2077 as a franchise, but I love the cyberpunk genre, so I'm sure I'll get round to this eventually. Seems to be some pretty obvious Akira riffs, which isn't a bad thing.

@Milktastrophe He didn't need to. The Yakuza games were PS exclusive for a long time, so he is saying that they now have all these other platforms to release on as well.

I'm a Liverpool supporter, but Salah and Van Dijk being that high is laughable.

The animations are hilarious. Looks so janky that it could actually be fun.

Out of curiosity, is there a particular reason that some people think this will be vaporware?

I'm sad to say that I couldn't even finish the first episode. Was really looking forward to it. The Zoomer teen drama is just so misplaced.

I never owned the full game, but I remember playing the demo to death as a kid. Looks great!

@Titntin You can platinum in one run by using cloud saves, or if you don't have PS Plus (like me) then you can use a USB stick. I think it took me roughly 140 to leasurely plat it, but of course it can be done much faster.

@kcarnes9051 Surely the long-standing relationships between PlayStation and companies like Squeenix and Atlus should stand for something? They have a history together. It's difficult to say the same thing about developers and publishers that Microsoft throw money at.

I've always wanted to play P3, but after doing some research I don't think I'll be buying this port, due to it being the portable version. I think I'll just find some way to play FES instead.

I don't usually like to be so cynical, but I have thought the same thing since the first trailer. Not that FromSoft has a copyright on the genre and setting, but Im not entirely sure that I wanted Final Fantasy: Medieval Grimdark Edition.

I'm curious what it is about these images that some users are so averse to? There really isn't anything at all to go off, besides the inclusion of the psychological, trauma-related themes the series is known for - which is surely a good thing.

From what I've seen of this installment I'm a little worried that they're trying to chase after FromSoft. Not that From has a copyright on the genre or anything, but I must admit that I'm starting to get burnt out on grimdark medieval-fantasy settings.

Nice review, but there are just a couple of errors that could do with fixing:

"Thankfully, intended to be played as a stealth game, but it's a difficult one",
"scan the area, real fungus, go get fungus"

Although that last one is brilliant and should probably stay.

It's a shame that 7R placed so high, but I'll put that down to recency bias. I just don't think it should place anywhere near those absolute classics. Better than VI, VIII and XII? Please!

Is anyone else getting an issue whereby everytime the console is turned on, you are asked to update front-facing profile details (notification settings)? I thought the new patch might have fixed it.

Why does this title have a metacritic rating of 76 on PS4, taken from 29 reviews? Are the majority of reviewers being disingenuous, or do they simply not care about the obvious issues?

I definitely miss Japan Studio. After the merger, do you think we might see Team Asobi make some unique IPs, like Japan Studio did, or will they continue to develop Playroom-esque software?

Why not remake System Shock 2? Isn't that the one everybody fawns over?

This is a shame, as I've been following the game since it was announced as Pray for the Gods. I'll still check it out at some point though, I'm sure.

Finishing up Tales of Arise before I start this. Judgment was my 2019 GOTY, so to say I'm excited is an understatement!

@BloodNinja I didn't conclude anything. I said that it's plausible; as in, it's one possibility. I'm simply going off their history of vaporware; lack of transparency; CREATEQ Interactive; and confusion surrounding employees, company location and information, and investors.

@DeepSpace5D Yeah, maybe you're right. Nothing would surprise me though, honestly.

It's entirely plausible that this could be money laundering, or some other nefarious scheme. Going by their track record, they may have been doing it for a while.

I've never gotten around to watching Demon Slayer, and i would have been interested in this; but it looks like it'll be a ***** fighting game.

Struggling to see what is JRPG about it.

Absolutely love Judgment, and the main series, but this is so unnecessary. What is the point?
