@MattBoothDev sure, i would love 60 fps as well, but it seems that in order for it to play above 30 fps on both last and current gen, there would have to be a lot of code overhaul, the code of this game being notoriously problematic.
@Dusk_Actual would be funny if after announcing that this ONL is more about already known titles, rather than world premieres, Geoff just goes and announces Bloodborne II.
My only two gripes are the lack of 60FPS and the high price point. 30 bucks is a top bar for this, but they know they'll get more money that way, cause a crap load of people will still buy it day 1. It's just business. Ill wait for sale, im in no rush to replay it asap.
yeah, i actually hope they delay it, just so it has more chance of survival on the market. it's a survival horror game, sure, but going up against freaking Spider Man and Assassin's Creed is near suicidal. i hope they'll rethink their release strategy asap. i wish them all the success they deserve.
"In what should be considered definitive proof we live in the objectively worst timeline, Rockstar actually rejected a pitch for a Grand Theft Auto movie starring none other than Marshall Mathers, Eminem himself. "
More like NOT the worst, cause that sounds cringe af
While beautiful to look at, the idea seems a bit redundant and kinda pointless. at least for a gamer like me, who actually played and finished DSIII. I think the developers of this type of games better stay in the "inspired by" area and do their own thing with the characters and story, like Blasphemous and Death's Gambit devs did.
@Tomato_Goose see i can't, those stats are in direct relationship with the gameplay and difficulty, it's not just cosmetics. So i have to engage with all this stuff in order to progress in a comfortable manner. My point is i could still progress in a comfortable manner WITHOUT the need to invest my time into constantly placing things into sockets and comparing the benefits of one thing to another etc etc. It's lame in my opinion, especially in such a story centered experiencem where the clear most valuable aspect is the story and the visual experience of it all. A simple upgrade tower (or map or whatever you wanna call it) of skills from the original games would suffice beautifully, i think.
i think i saw his posts a couple'a'times citing Elon as part of the reason is kinda laughable, but even if it's so, godspeed. twitter is a hellhole when you use it a certain way, but i don't engage with that stuff and remain mostly unscathed for many years now. it's a good source of quick news where you can discover and stay up to date with every niche interest you can think of
The soundtrack of Death Stranding is absolutely stellar and 90% of it thanks to Low Roar. I actually started listening to this band after the first trailer ("I'll keep coming") and it's such a shame the leader of the band passed on so early into his life. Not fair at all.
Thankful to Kojima for getting everyones attention to this awesome band.
super happy about this. the original has it's problems, but it's the closest we've been to a high budget Twin Peaks game. this time round the vibe seems more scary than mysterious, but i can dig that too
Incredible visuals in this cinematic trailer. It gives me "prologue" vibes. These are traditional to all From games, and it seems this is the one we'll see at the start of Elden Ring. Super intrigued by the story and characters presented. Tolkien influence is unmistakable. Then again, Martin himself is a Tolkien successor, practically.

Re: Artistic PS5 Indie INDIKA Is Unlike Anything You've Seen Before
The style is very reminiscent of Mielgo's "Jibaro", which was the single most brilliant short of "Love Death and Robots" season 3.
Re: Silent Hill: Ascension Gets Premiere Trailer, Screaming Begins on PS5, PS4 in October
Better not to touch the ip at all than to further tarnish it's rep with junk like this.

Not gonna happen, of course.
Re: Poll: What PS5 Game Do You Most Want to See at Gamescom Opening Night Live?
@locoism25 yeah, i want to see more of that title.
Re: Poll: What PS5 Game Do You Most Want to See at Gamescom Opening Night Live?
Death Stranding is no 1. Elden Ring DLC is number 2. Black Myth Wukong is no 3.
Would be nice to see more of Pragmata as well.

@MattBoothDev no, it doesn't.

Re: Hands On: Red Dead Redemption PS4 Port Seems Solid, But Should Be So Much More
@MattBoothDev what? It doesn't run at 60fps on Series X, where did you get that from? 30fps, same as PS5.
Re: Blasphemous 2 (PS5) - A Marvellously Macabre Metroidvania
hell yeah, day 1 baby
Re: Hands On: Red Dead Redemption PS4 Port Seems Solid, But Should Be So Much More
@MattBoothDev not for me, being a console player primarily im used to it. Stable 30 fps will be absolutely fine for this game.

They should adress the script in the next patch.

Not really, Kojima even got Geoff to be a regular part of his podcast Brain Structure. I always thought the affinity between them was mutual.

i'd rather them sack the armour system altogether, it felt like busy work anyways. keep it simple, story driven and aesthetically sound.
Re: Gotham Knights (PS5) - It's Actually Pretty Good
i like a realistic darkness as much as the next guy, but this here is bordering with incompetence, the game is as dark as The Godfather Part II lol
