Just looking online at some games.
The couple I want I save in total £18 over buying digital and that is with BF digital store price reductions.
I never knew there was such a price saving to be had with physical.

Shall be installing my disc drive to my Pro when arrives tomorrow from Currys UK.
What’s the issue.

Hence my early post about Currys UK stock this morning, that means we have stock coming in.
So keep an eye on PS Direct, Argos and Smyths Toys and you will probably get one this weekend.

I did post this morning on a couple of threads on here about 6am Currys UK had stock £99.99 free next day delivery.
I got one of course to go with Pro.
I guess they sold out now.

Microsoft may as well pull the plug on consoles nowadays and get it over with.
Absolutely zero Black Friday deals on series x consoles in the UK.

They doing really good in the USA
Europe is another story and I think about 5 million down on PS4 same time line.
Though they have advertised over here a lot and have done some great price reductions over the year 2024.
And of course they still totally dominate Europe/UK, Germany etc.

I think over here money has also been a bit tighter as well.

Sony really need to sort out the PS5 disc drive stock in UK and Europe I guess.

A couple of shops in UK have stock but are only selling if you buy a PS5 Pro as well.
CEX is at £170 for disc drive only.

Goes to show scammers are bad but even full legitimate shops are just as bad as the scammers.

I’m totally PS5 Pro only now.
But may go with Switch 2 as well depending on the leap from switch and the AAA release games quality and what they are.

Well the few games I’ve played and tired
It’s top notch.
I’m getting 60fps and the best possible visual fidelity I can from the game.
The best place to play third party games as well now.
Star Wars outlaws looks a lot shaper now and has lost that weird grain it had and in 60fps.
Dragon Age is sharper and seems more detailed texture wise and in 60fps.
The Spider-Man just looks fantastic.

Paired with my Sony A95L 65” and Sony Bravia Atmos sound bar, sub woofer and rear speakers and you are in gaming heaven.

So if I gave something away for free I could get the biggest engagement.
But I have sold nothing and made no money.

Sales is always the best level metric.

But I really did notice whilst driving cars, very poor control and frame issues.

Yes good point at bare minimum 40fps with 120hz VRR would be better than nothing.
Especially if it was uncapped with 40fps being the minimum rate.

Totally agree I have the lowest membership and might buy this game if I get to try it.

It does look better to me in 60fps what I play in terms of some sharpness and more stand out in some textures.
It seems true about the hair more of a wobble now and looked more like individual as strands and better on PS5.
A sort of another ok Pro patch.

Yes it’s weird how this game looks off.
Some have said it’s better to play on all consoles with black bars top and bottom.
If you don’t the image looks off and stretched.

Yes that is true facts.
Even if they had held off one more month.
It would have helped, just from my own performance review on what I have played seems a lot more positive.
Then again that is series x only with all the best settings on the best TV, that all may help.

I’m sticking up for this game but being honest it’s not my type of game and I won’t play it for long.
Time will tell.

But I have to say it as I play it on the performance and find this industry frustrating, especially with all this Stalker 2 stuff today.

First 2 hours impression stalker 2 running like a dream not a single thing wrong.
120hz VRR Dolby vision and atmos all working and confirmed by tv.
Performance mode, low motion blurr.
Panning very smooth and clear.
Not one single issue and plays like a dream.
And I have a nice new PS5 Pro as-well so I’m not being funny about it.

I must admit I have a PS5 Pro and the odd title shines through.
But it is not as wide spread or different from base PS5 as I thought it would be.
Maybe overtime it might improve.
