Yeah seemed strange and was also over very quickly as well at most stores.

I’m definitely sure PS5 and Series x along with the Pro are overpriced coming into the 4th year.

These buggers are trying to fool us and making big money on these consoles.

I think I read a report that even though Sony have sold less PS5 than PS4 their returns are higher as they made more profits by selling less consoles due to the higher mark up.

We all getting mugged off by all of them.

Sony have been dicks really.
It’s so easy to add the Pro Enhanced icon in the store once it has been released.
Which probably takes a bit better communication and work.
So they have taken the easy option and confused us gamers.

Well this was obvious as night follows day.

I would go Astro Bot, no disrespect to the game as I really enjoy it.
But it has hardly been a vintage year across all three major players or the third parties.

Hoping this one hits the spot after being slightly disappointed by the Lego Horizons outcome this week.

As an original xboxer for decades, I’m just glad that it’s been said now for others still with Xbox.

I left them a few months ago and shall enjoy all the games that might be worth playing on my PS5 Pro.

I’m running on fidelity mode with everything turned on.
But have 120hz VRR turned on.
Obviously I can’t measure frame rate but as DF say I seem very near to 60fps and probably at around 50fps.
It looks so good and smooth.
The best of both modes.

Simple for me.
See how it reviews, if top end ish.
Wait for updates and PS5 Pro enhanced
Then purchase in Spring.
If not end ish review, don’t buy.

Also think Stalker 2 only has a 3 month Xbox exclusivity.

Hopefully they will bring back the Tallneck Lego.

I’m finding it great and have that warm feeling I’m playing the best console version of games.
Went mad yesterday and purchased Sony A95L QD OLED 65”. Will be arriving next Saturday.
Now I’m really set up for games, movies and TV.

All down to studio micro management, project milestones and having the right management on the job.
I’m just thankful Sony Studios teams are normally great at this and at least it was a studio GAAS game that went wrong and not say Sucker Punch etc for example with their big AAA single player games.

The biggest drop unfortunately is in Europe where the PS5 is down 5 million units to the PS4.
They might be able to make it back up if they wished to.

Well I have been playing a couple of games for about 4 hours on and off.

And it still does make me smile and think that detail and sharpness is the best I’ve seen in this game. It’s like a warm feeling that you are getting the optimum experience.

I do play on a Sony X95L 65” top end mini led, so that might help.

Got mine all set up and running.
And enjoying the no comprise.
60fps and pure quality on some of the games I’ve tried.
It gives you that feeling of, I’ve got the best the game can be and a console can be.

All set up running, only tried a couple of games each with different upgrade patch settings.

Tried the dragons dogma 2 trial and very impressed, lots of options, looks great, runs great and as smooth as butter.
Will buy this game now and on discount.

Console runs very quiet, doesn’t seem to get any hotter and seems well made.

The dam cardboard box was twice as thick as the PS Slim box though. 🤣

Arrived, on it and love it.
The definitive quality gaming console.

You can buy a very good 65” QD-OLED for just under £2000 or the Sony A95L for £2800.

Is it better yes and if you look enough you can tell especially with Sony motion and upscaling.

So it’s the same with PS5 Pro really.

Really enjoying this game love fantasy adventure with a bit of rpg.

Started playing but holding off for what I’ve named.
Pro Thursday.

All I know is I watched those videos yesterday on YouTube at 4K that Gabriel Master posted.
On a top end Sony 65”tv and dam Spider-Man 2 was so sharp and so was last of us 2 and so dam smooth with PSSR and 60fps combined.
And panning around looked crisp and flowed with a graceful motion.

Looking forward to Thursday.

Now that was on YouTube, so I guess the real thing will look a bit better.

New stock is due about the first of December 2024.
The USA PS Direct store is already restocked.

I waiting to see what the PS5 Pro patch does.
Then just might pick this up.

Basically everybody played COD where they usually play it and the way they usually play it.

Meaning, those that had GPU in the UK played on there and those that an Xbox console only paid for it.
Basically it sums up percentage of Xbox console owners, meaning very little and probably GPU subscribers, which are not that many as well.

Basically Microsoft are not doing much Xbox console wise or GPU wise.

Their biggest income Sony consoles and PC.
It’s sad to say but they might as well leave the console market and become publishers.
Then think what to do with game pass as well.

I sadly left Xbox a little while ago and been with them since day one original Xbox. My series x got sold.
Microsoft are the most disrespectful and disappointing company out of all three.
They are not saying if any games are exclusive to Xbox only like gears or halo and hanging loyal Xbox fans on a thread.
Well they have taken the piss out of me for to long, so I left them.

The fact they won’t even mention Xbox exclusivity for halo and gears etc, tells you what’s to come.

I would not p*ss on a single Xbox top dog if they were on fire.

Dragon Age looked a step up as well.
