@Arasumian Not necessarily, it all depends on the contract. Equity (the British actors union) is trying to support SAG as much as possible. Regarding your last example that is.
@Stevemalkpus Yeah. The War in Ukraine meant they had to put a more ambitious project on the backburner and instead chose to remake the Awakened. Frogwares started development in April of 2022, it's impressive that it's already released.
I'll wait for the demo before deciding on whether to get this game. It sounds good but I need to play it first. This will be my first Final Fantasy Game, unless I get the Remake of Final Fantasy 7.
@kungfumongoose Judging by the pre-order stuff not being ponchos, I'd say we can wear non-poncho stuff as well. (We could already customise the suit in Fallen Order but only slightly)
For me, it would depend on the game. Basically, whether that game was any good. Even if I found it good, I can only really play one game at a time so it needs to be really good to retain my attention for a prolonged period of time.
I am very much looking forward to this. It's definitely going to be played on the 7th. I just have to make space for Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened somewhere in February.
431 hours played. Since I got my PS5 nearly halfway through the year, I expect that number to double next year. Most played: Horizon Zero Dawn at 64 hours, with Ragnarok just behind with 60. 19 games played in total this year. I definitely bought a lot more but that's a problem for next year.
@TheArt The reason that the changing maze of Niflheim works so well is that it doesn't change. All that changes are the traps, chests and enemy spawns. The actual structure of the maze remains the same.
That's very handy. I've been playing this game on and off and each time stopped after a couple of hours mainly due to being overwhelmed and not having a very good idea of how to expand.
It makes sense, it ensures everyone can tell their own standalone stories without having to worry about other games messing up the story. I feel like some games will try to reference other ones, especially if they're made by the same studio. Wolverine referencing Spider-Man and if EA made another game, it would probably reference Iron Man.
There's no need for them all to share a universe. My main criticism of the MCU is that it's not standalone enough, everything has to be connected. Moon Knight is my favourite thing to come out of the MCU due to it being standalone and accessible for once.
@Beerheadgamer82 The usual difficulty settings are still there, this is just a custom one so you can tweak everything to your liking. You could make an ultra-hard difficulty just as easily as an ultra-easy one. There's nothing wrong with toning the game down a little.
@Gloamin There won't be a physical version which drastically lowers the possibility of a collector's edition. The closest you can really get is the €50 tier which comes with an artbook, soundtrack, a dlc sidequest and the game itself. Or any sort of deluxe edition when it comes out.
I'm unsure of whether I'll get the Collector's Edition but I'll wait and see what it looks like, probably either the deluxe or standard depending on what the cosmetics look like.
I think it's good thing that there are difficulty options. It allows those who want a little less challenge, which isn't a bad thing, to play this. It also allow those who want more challenge to replay it.
@Perturbator Luckily, I don't think they'll be doing that. That temple didn't make much sense, how could Holmes deduce the entirety of it from a wooden model?
A Doctor Strange game could work really well as an RPG: exploring the world to gather new magical artifacts to use and returning to the Sanctum Sanctorum to test them out or decorate the hub with artifacts either cosmetic or useful.

Re: Poll: Spider-Man 2 PS5 Bugs are Apparently a Real Problem, But Have You Had Any?
I've had one where I was allowed into an inaccessible area in the final mission and got stuck in a return to playable area loop.
Re: Poll: What Review Score Would You Give Assassin's Creed Mirage?
I'd give it an 8, the stealth-focused gameplay and investigations are really fun, it's just a pity that the overall story doesn't do much with Basim.
Re: PS5 Slim Doesn't Come with a Vertical Stand, Needs to Be Bought Separately
On the one hand, that's not great but if the base is the same, it should support itself vertically without the stand, my PS5 is.
Re: EA Sports FC 24 PS5, PS4 Puts the Commentary Team in the Game
Why would you have a settings menu that doesn't pause cutscenes?
Re: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Is Being Ported Backwards to Decade-Old PS4
Huh? It doesn't run all that well on PS5 in the first place.

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Is Overheating and Crashing PS5 Consoles Completely
I guess I was lucky, I didn't encounter the issue. It's unfortunate that it happens though.
Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Pre-Orders Begin 16th June, Various Editions Detailed
I'm going for Deluxe as the statue doesn't really appeal to me.
Re: Battle Alongside the Autobots in Upgraded PSVR2 Port of Transformers Beyond Reality
I'd have thought a VR Transformers game would have you be a Transformer...

Re: Final Fantasy 16 Demo Planned for Just Before the Game's Release
I'll definitely get the demo as I still need some convincing on whether or not to buy the game.

Re: PSVR2 Review: Is It Worth It?
I wear hearing aids, so I wonder how speakers work and how tight it is around the ears.
Re: Big Discounts for PS Plus Members in New PS Store Sale
I've bought Evil Genius 2 and Sifu today. Both for a rainy day when I need some fun. Right now, Hogwarts Legacy occupies my time.
Re: Talking Point: Should Sony Be Worried by Live Service Implosion?

Re: Switch Your Hands for Baseball Bats in What the Bat on PSVR2
If this is anywhere near as creative as What the Golf, this game is going to be a lot of fun.
Re: Poll: What's Your Favourite God of War Ragnarok Weapon?
Early game, I used the axe. Once I got the spear, it became my default weapon.
Re: Harry Potter Game Hogwarts Legacy Looks Like Pure PS5 Magic in Huge Showcase
@Hindenburg What types of games do you believe that are utterly unenjoyable? I like a good platformer, I'll always keep an eye out for a Lego game.

I am very much looking forward to this. It's definitely going to be played on the 7th. I just have to make space for Sherlock Holmes: The Awakened somewhere in February.
Re: Poll: What Is Your PS5, PS4 Game of the Year 2022?
I've not played many 2022 PS5 games this year but I've played enough other ones on other platforms or in previous years to scrape 5 favourites up.

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 454
I'll be finishing Ragnarok this weekend. After that I think I'll be starting the Ezio Collection.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy God of War Ragnarok?
@Hindenburg Because Ragnarok isn't out on PC.
Re: God of War Ragnarok (PS5) - A Dazzling Crown Jewel in Sony's Catalogue
@ShogunRok Are collectibles easier to find this time around?
Re: Poll: Will You Pay the PSVR2 Launch Price?
Personally, I'll wait for a price drop regardless. But I need to experience how it works first before I buy it.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for November 2022?
@Splat I know the feeling. So far the only game that's captured me is Outer Wilds because I didn't finish it last time I played.
Re: Assassin's Creed Origins Is Five Years Old Today
I'll be playing Origins for the first time soon... After Ragnarok and the Ezio Collection.
Re: Reaction: PS Stars Is Overdue Yet Appreciated, But There's Lots of Room to Improve
It would be nice if campaigns were available outside of phones...
Re: God of War Ragnarok Goes Gold Ahead of November Release Date on PS5, PS4

Re: Upcoming PS5, PS4 Games for October and November 2022
I still need to beat Sigrun before Ragnarok.

Surely this should have been announced at that Marvel games presentation.
Re: Story-Focused Battlefield Game Now in Development at New Studio
Are there any stories that are only possible within Battlefield? As far as I know it's just another war-filled world.
Re: Assassin's Creed Games Go Cheap for Weekend of Reveals
@BoldAndBrash They exist elsewhere. Sherlock Holmes Chapter One was really fun to me. God of War is also fun.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 442
I'm playing God of War. I've just gotten to Muspellheim. I'll eventually get back on track and listen to the head.

I'm definitely going to get it at some point. Maybe a few days after launch or something depending on if anything else interesting comes out.
Re: Nacon Connect to Showcase Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown and More Next Month
Nacon. Didn't they steal The Sinking City from Frogwares? They uploaded it on Steam from a cracked version.
Re: First Impressions: Stray Is Shaping Up to Be a Supurrbly Detailed PS5, PS4 Adventure
@Lup I am, it certainly looks interesting and I'm very much not a cat person.
Re: No Microtransactions or Online Requirement for Gotham Knights
@jmac1686 I do. I'd be getting more multiplayer games if they had local multiplayer.
