Re: PS5, PC Shooter Concord Appears to Be a $40 Game

QBGaming12

Everybody is so quick to judge this game after one trailer. Give the beta a chance and see how the game plays then you can judge it.

While it's not something new(as of yet), some of the characters look cool at least and the gunplay looks like it should be tight.

I'm interested in playing the beta next month and it being $40 isn't bad either if the beta turns out to be good.

Re: Talking Point: What Are Your PS5 Predictions for Summer Game Fest 2024?

QBGaming12

I would love for EA to show Dreadwolf like they should, and finally announce a Collection of the first 3 games(with all of the DLC included/Expansion) so that everyone can finally play a semi updated Dragon Age 1/2 on Next gen consoles(Outside of the fact that you can play them on EA Play/Gamepass).

Would like to see a surprise or two from Sony and maybe some cool indies, also Astro Bot again would be great since the pre-order date is the day of SGF.

Also I hope that SGF isn't a slog like it usually is and it's not 3 hours.

Re: Dynasty Warriors Origins Could Be the Comeback Fans Have Been Waiting For on PS5

QBGaming12

Koei Tecmo is finally making a Next Gen Warriors game and I hope they do the same for Samurai Warriors after this. They decided to to a remake of the SW series a few years ago so I assume that this game is a complete remake of the Dynasty Warrior franchise.

I do wonder if it's just one character you play as or if you join a specific Kingdom and do missions for the Hero's/Villains of the era. As a huge Warriors fan I'm interested to see what this game actually is.

Re: PS Store Sales Charts: Stellar Blade Loses Out to Sea of Thieves in Europe, Helldivers 2 Is Still King in US

QBGaming12

I'd say that Stellar Blade being in the top 5 in the US and Europe(On the PS Store) is actually awesome for the game. Given the type of game it is(action/soulslike) and the audience that it's for/geared towards is pretty good. I'm finally going to start playing it this week which I'm excited about.

Shift Up did a great job with their first console game and I can't wait to see what they do next, and hopefully Playstation partners with them again because it just makes too much sense given how much they promoted Stellar Blade. Almost like it was a first party game.

I'm curious to see how many copies it sold once the Circana report comes out.

Re: The Big Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Reveal Is Incoming, 2024 Release Date Reportedly Set

QBGaming12

As a huge fan of the series and Dragon Age Inquisition being one of my most played games on PS4(beat it 3 times, working on a 4th). This has been one my most anticipated games since the ending of Inquisition. Can't wait to see how they do the whole story with Solas.

Kind of hope EA announces a Legendary Collection like they did for Mass Effect because having Dragon Age 1 and 2 and Inquisition together in a Collection(with all of the DLC) on next gen would be great before 4 comes out.

@colonelkilgore if you don't want to play Inquisition I'd at least look up a video describing the story since a character from Inquisition is a main part of Dreadwolf.

Re: Poll: How Would You Rate the Latest State of Play Showcase?

QBGaming12

Stellar Blade looked amazing, Rise of the Ronin looked good(graphics seem a bit dated but it is Koei Tecmo so that sometimes is to be expected), Death Stranding 2 looked amazing yet crazy at the same time. The Silent Hill games looked interesting(never played a Silent Hill game before) have to give the free one a try today. V Rising and the Metro VR game look cool. Dragon's Dogma and Sonic looked cool as well.

Also Zenless Zone Zero finally being announced for PS5 is great news, and I'm happy they showed Helldivers and Foamstars. Can't wait to play those two games this month(mainly Foamstars for now).

Judas is the game I want to see more of, as a huge Bioshock fan I can't wait to see the story and the mechanics of that game. It looks amazing.

Re: State of Play Announced, Covering More Than 15 PS5, PSVR2 Games

QBGaming12

Stellar Blade and Rise of the Ronin info is going to be amazing, excited/interested in both of those games. Hopefully maybe some Judas info and maybe Little Devil Inside? Final Fantasy Rebirth will probably be in their and Granblue Fantasy Relink will probably get it's trailer in their(as it should).

Should be a good State of Play with a game for everyone, not expecting a bunch of First Party stuff. I don't think anybody should be thinking about that.

Re: Game of the Year: #5 - Final Fantasy 16

QBGaming12

One of the best games of 2023 for me, and Clive was a great character, story was great and the music was epic. Also Ben Starr was excellent for the voice of Clive.

Also he was on a episode of the Christmas Maze for Playstation Access today and he was hilarious if anybody want's to check that out.

Re: Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Spotlights Its Brainwashed Heroes in Latest Trailer

QBGaming12

After playing the Alpha I can say that that story seems a bit interesting but that gameplay is just such a drag. Not that fun at all. The gunplay just seems bland and the abilities just don't seem fun.

Also listening to Harley Quinn and the awkward interactions between the team(except King Shark) for 20+ hours is a bit much. Her voice can be a bit much, but King Shark is funny lol.

I feel like if they could have made this similar to The Batman games it could have been awesome.

Re: Dragon Age: Dreadwolf Makes You Wait for a Summer 2024 Reveal

QBGaming12

I am excited for this(one of my favorite series of all time) and can't wait to see the end of the Solas Story. Also hoping we get some characters to come back and join the party from all 3 games.

I do hope EA does the easy thing before it comes out and make a Dragon Age Collection like they did for Mass Effect. That seems like easy money to me and everyone would love to play all 3 games on current systems.

Re: The Last of Us 2 PS5 Remaster's Roguelike Mode Reportedly Comprises 12 Levels

QBGaming12

I'm excited for the roguelike mode in the remaster and I don't even play roguelike's that often, but the gameplay in Last of Us Part 2 is amazing so it should be fun. I am curious what the unique abilities for each character are though.

I'll also play through it for the third time because that story is intense from beginning to end, whether you like it not.
It being a $10 upgrade makes playing one of favorite games of all time even easier.

Re: God of War's Next PS5 Game Could Be Revealed Before the End of the Year

QBGaming12

I mean I'd love a new game when you play as the younger generation. I mainly want to play as Thrud and Angrboda and I feel like most GOW players would agree with me lol. Watching them fight alongside you in Ragnarok made me want to try those moves out for myself.

I do want to play as Atreus as well but he's nowhere near as fun as them, at least not yet. So hopefully it's all 3 of them. Come on Sony Santa Montica lol.

Re: 15 PS5, PS4 Games Coming to PS Plus Extra, Premium in October 2023 Update

QBGaming12

This is good month of games for Extra. The Premium games are good I guess, I've just never been into playing old games like that on a new console. I feel like Sony is the same way with Premium, mainly focus on Extra and base PS Plus.

I might finally play Disco Elysium after Spider-Man 2. Maybe give House of Ashes a go too finally. Good Job Playstation with this Month.

Gotham Knight might worth a hour or two lol.

Re: Preview: Bandai Namco Is a Publisher Quietly on the Up

QBGaming12

I'm hoping that Synduality: Echo of Ada is good. The anime so far is actually pretty good so it gives me hopes the game is a interesting spin on that.

Sand Land looks like it will be fun but we just need to see more.

Tekken 8 we don't need to really say anything more about. It will be awesome, no doubt about it.

Re: State of Play Livestream Revealed for Thursday, a Focus on Indie and Third-Party Games

QBGaming12

Hoping to hear more about Stellar Blade at least. A Nintendo Direct and a State of Play on the same day, should be fun.

Also hopefully people will not overreact to this State of Play since it's Indies and Third Party Games, I say that and know people will but here's hoping.

I also assume their not showing first party games because of Spider-Man, so that Spider-Man is the main first party focus. Once this is over Tomorrow they hype train and trailers probably start for Spider-Man.

Re: Goodbye Volcano High (PS5) - Wonderfully Written, But Stumbles on the Rhythm

QBGaming12

I always thought this game would be good and I'm glad it turned out to be a good game. If people can get past the character designs(which I don't think is a issue, they look cool and it's something new) then people can enjoy a good game.

Funny when they first showed this game at one of the PS Showcases all people kept saying was "who asks for this or why these weird character designs".

Something new is not always bad.

Re: Fate/Samurai Remnant's Anime Opening Hypes What Could Be a Surprise PS5, PS4 Hit

QBGaming12

I am interested in this game but not nothing anything about the fate series(one anime series I've always wanted to get into but there's a lot too it) is kind of making me have a wait and see approach.

Going to be tough to pick between this and Eternights since they come out a week apart. Sept. 21st vs Sept. 29th.

I'm hoping at TGS Koei Tecmo finally shows us some brand new Dynasty Warriors or more importantly Samurai Warriors info.

Re: Feature: PlayStation Showcase Biggest Winners and Losers

QBGaming12

All of the games looked good except for the live service games(not including Marathon and Destiny).

Revenant Hill looks like it's going to be fun, Sword of the Sea looks like it's going to be an enjoyable time. Plucky Squire looks amazing, and Neva looks like it will be great. Phantom Blade looks awesome but who knows when that comes out, Cat Quest games are always good, and Granblue looks great but needs a exact date lol. MGS, Alan Wake, Final Fantasy 16, Street Fighter 6 and Assassin's Creed all look great(especially FF16 and SF6).

I get that the main issue everyone is having is that their weren't really any Playstation Studios First Party games but I think we just need to wait till later in the year to see if they have another even specifically for that.

I'd rather Sony show Last of Us Factions, Ghost 2, Sony Santa Montica's new games, Bluepoint's next game and also Sony Bend's next game when they actually have something to show. Not just a trailer or concept art like we got yesterday for the Live service games.

So just be patient and relax. Which I know most people will keep complaining until they actually see something besides Spider-Man 2 lol.

Re: Poll: Was This Sony's Best PlayStation Showcase Yet?

QBGaming12

Every game in this showcase actually looked pretty good, the indie's look interested and I don't usually play a lot of indies.

The third party games all looked good. Phantom Blade 0 was a shock in a good way but that isn't coming this year.

It was a really good show for me especially with the Spider Man 2 gameplay and MGS 3. Sword in the Sea and Neva looked amazing too.

I get people will be mad that we didn't see First Party games besides Haven and Firewalk(besides Spider-Man and Hell Divers(which isn't a first party but is being published by Sony)), but give the Live Service games a chance until you actually see gameplay. I feel like everyone is overreacting lol.

Also Granblue Fantasy release time window finally lol.

I'd give it a 8/10.

Re: PlayStation Showcase Finally Announced for 24th May

QBGaming12

Oh I am very excited to see what they show next week, I know Sony will knock it out the park.

I do hope that EA will announce a Dragon Age Remastered Collection(Origins-Inquisition) to come out this year. I feel like it would sell pretty well and it makes total sense for them to release that with Dragon Age 4 a year/year and a half away.

It can be announced at some other point this summer but to see it here would be cool.
