Bioshock The Collection, yes or no? Is it worth playing in 2021? Seriously tempted to pick it up as I never got around to play any of the games.

Got one. I'll give it a go on Saturday. Kind of nice since I really want to try it out before I consider buying the full version.

This list makes a lot of sense to me. Sure, I probably remember more of Vice City than San Andreas but in the end I still think SA was the better game.

Finishing up Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy on PS5 and then back to Back4Blood on XBSX.

Yeah, I bought it from a physical retailer yesterday. Played through a few chapters last night, game's alright! Encountered a few technical issues so far and the game does not run 100% smooth on PS5 despite having the performance option enabled. Nothing major but still.

@zebric21 Ugh, yes. I am worried about that! Every time I see there's a software update available I'm like "omg VRR finally happening" but no...

@ORO_ERICIUS No, PS5. It's most prevalent when doing things like driving or riding a horse.

"Some" screen tearing? I'd say it's pretty bad actually. Fingers crossed we get VRR support soon! I don't trust Ubisoft, aka the Kings of screen tearing, to fix this anytime soon unfortunately.

Far Cry 6 all weekend. Somehow it really got me hooked!

Yeah, bought it on a whim. No regrets, loving it so far and this is my first Far Cry game!

VRR can't come soon enough. It's Ubisoft so I am expecting screen tearing deluxe as usual.

I could pick it up on XBSX but I kinda want the DualSense features!

Still undecided, not sure if I can hold off until the physical edition is available for purchase.

Another month full of garbage, at least for me personally. Who could've guessed...

Anyway, I hope some of you find these games interesting!

PS5: Marvel's Avengers: War for Wakanda. Very tempted to pick up Kena although I kind of want to wait for the physical disc release.

XBSX: More Assassin's Creed: Odyssey!

No, zero interest in Death Stranding. I can tell this game will never click with me, so not going to bother.

Undecided whether I should purchase the season pass or not. I liked the base game, spent a solid 100 hours or so on it.

I picked up Odyssey after the 60 fps patch announcement and have been playing that since. It's great except for its somewhat grindy nature.

Think I will hold off on Valhalla DLC for the time being, feel I might get burned out if I jump straight into it after finishing Odyssey.

Continuing my journey through the massive world of Assassin's Creed Odyssey.

I also have intentions to try out Aragami 2.

Yesterday I finished up Horizon Zero Dawn including the DLC. Fantastic game, looking forward to Forbidden West now.

@dennisforss I can confirm it works perfectly. Wireless and all. You just switch to "USB" on the dongle. I use it almost daily on my PS5.

7X version has a toggle on the dongle for both Xbox and USB whereas the 7P is USB only. So the 7X was a no-brainer for me with both systems.

SSD expansion. The rest are nice and welcomed improvements but nothing I care for specifically.

I went with the Arctis 7X. I wanted one wireless headset that was compatible with both Xbox and PlayStation.

These look really nice though, but I have to restrain myself from buying a pair because I really don't need 'em!

Currently busy playing AC: Odyssey but I'm tempted to pick up the season pass for Valhalla as well now when it's discounted.

Good thing I had my expectations in check. Nothing that "blew my sh*t".

Not saying anything announced was bad it's just a bit underwhelming. A bunch of remakes and some gameplay/trailer action.

Didn't bring anything new and exciting for the foreseeable future, really. Nothing that we didn't already know was coming anyway.

Can't say I am hyped, not expecting much to be honest. But I genuinely hope I am wrong!

I think since I live in a smaller country the demand might be big but not overwhelming thus it becomes significantly easier to buy one. Probably because there aren't a million people trying to get one at the same time.

I got mine on release day but I've had the chance to purchase at least 5-6 more units if I wanted to. If you really wanted one it hasn't been THAT hard to get one where I live.

All I did was to frequent some retailers' websites who pushed them out at random. They chose to not specify when to prevent their systems from crashing I suppose.

We also have retailers with lottery systems, if you win you get a code to purchase a PS5. I've won twice... That seriously can't just be down to luck. Gave away my codes to some colleagues.

Mostly crap in my opinion. As per usual I am either not interested in the games offered or I have already finished them.

But fret not Sony, I'll continue paying for PS+ because.. erm.. the plus looks nice next to my username!

@Jayofmaya Possibly but I doubt it. Looking back I can see this was the single most reported issue with the game. Clearly, I am not alone but it's all good, everything else about the game is awesome.

Two massive open-world games ahead of me this weekend.

PS5: Horizon Zero Dawn. First time playing this game. So far it's been a real treat BUT jesus christ the lip syncing and facial expressions are terrible. It is legit disturbing, sucks for an otherwise superb game!

XBSX: Assassin's Creed Odyssey. First time here as well, so nice to be able to experience it in 60 fps. I enjoyed Valhalla very much.

Looks like I'll be busy for quite some time.

Oh boy, R&C is down from $99 to $86 here ...and this is why all-digital is still out of the question for me. Gotta love Europe! /s

Disappointing but hardly surprising at this point. Sony knows their fans will pay regardless.

It saddens me they're pretty much starting to rip out pages of Apple's playbook by charging extra for every little thing.

Good thing I have plenty of games to play 'cause I sure ain't touching any of that garbage.

I am tempted to pick up Infamous First Light, is it worth playing? I quite enjoyed Second Son.

@Max_the_German Indeed. PSN Store in my country is a complete rip-off. Even the sales are garbage 90% of the time. Retail prices for physical discs are usually 25-30% cheaper than digital here, even on release day. Thank God I got the disc version of PS5.

PS5: Finishing up Spider-Man Remastered and then onto Horizon Zero Dawn whenever they sort out the audio bug.

XBSX: Psychonauts 2!

@pip_muzz Couldn't have said it better myself. I like my PS5 and XBSX but above all else I love great games, regardless of platform.

It's superb really! Great fun, didn't think I'd enjoy it as much as I do to be honest. Highly recommended.

Game looks fine, wanted to give it a try but immediately noticed the pre-rendered cutscenes which run at 30 fps have no sound. Like the starting intro for example. Oh well, guess I'll have to wait for another patch...

Nah. The demo left much to be desired. Combat mechanics were really cool but the game felt extremely shallow. Fingers crossed I am wrong but not holding my breath on this one.

PS5: Spider-Man Remastered. Man am I impressed! The game is really well done. First time ever playing Spider-Man. Bet Miles Morale will be just as awesome.

XBSX: Hades. Hard to put this bad boy down. Probably gonna try out some Quake as well if I have time.

I agree. Personally, it's not a problem to pay an extra 10 bucks but on other hand, as someone pointed out, I don't want to support this practice.

My autumn is already stocked with games so I might as well wait this one out and see if there's a price drop.

@IonMagi lolno. Still rocking that glorious upscaled 1080p along with micro stuttering and fps drops on PS5. Ironically, the latest patch they dropped in mid-June was the worse. No idea what happened but before 2.05 it was okay.

I did, however, thoroughly enjoy the game despite all of the above.

XBSX: Hades. If the game ever gets cross-save support I'll happily purchase it for PS5 as well.

PS5: Assassin's Creed Valhalla DLC. I wish more developers would implement cross-save like Ubisoft. They'll earn a lot from stupid people like myself who don't mind double dipping games that I genuinely enjoy.

Sure sounds well executed but really, don't waste your time or money on this glorified walking simulator.

Played it on Game Pass, glad I didn't pay top dollar for this game to say the least.

@Daleaf You're right. What boggles my mind is how rare it is for people to buy second hand. I bought both Returnal and Demon Soul's for the same price as one of those games at retail price.

I get it if you really want it day one but if you can wait just a couple weeks it's possible to shave off like $20.

Also managed to pick up Rift Apart for the grand price of $25.

Garbage. But all good, I have games to play. I don't know why I subscribe to PS+ nowadays, I rarely play what's being offered and online play is also a bare minimum.

Whatever, not like it's expensive, I'll keep my subscription running like a good soldier.

Did anyone see the Shadow of the Tomb Raider PS5 patch? Looks absolutely fantastic, 4k60fps in high resolution mode. Feels next-gen!
