Nay, truthfully I wasn’t particularly interested in the first place. But, admittedly, it does look visually impressive!

As others have pointed out it’s highly addictive. Didn’t think I’d like it but ended up having a blast!

It picked up on PC for cheap quite recently. My first Monster Hunter game, lots of stuff to wrap one’s head around though! Great to see it’s finally making its way to console.

Both Biomutant and Mass Effect are great additions! Too bad one has already finished both long time ago.

I, for one, love these wacky expansions. Definitely gonna check this one out. Since I sold my PS5 copy of the game I’ll probably sub 1 month Ubi+ on PC for this one. Should be able to load my PS5 save anyway.

Good stuff! 8.5/10 after finishing it. Enjoyed it quite a bit more than GoW 2018. Surprisingly so since it was very similar overall.

7/10 so far. Honestly, it’s really fun. I didn’t expect much, so I’m happily surprised.

Mostly GoW:R I reckon, maybe Sonic Frontiers too. Also, since I’m on my own this weekend I’ll probably watch some anime. Sheesh, it’s been over 15 years since I last watched anime. Put some on the other day for a change and now I’m hooked on some stupid rom-coms… what gives.

Uh. I was looking forward to this game but the trailers and gameplay videos we’ve seen so far looks pretty …mediocre? An empty and lifeless world with super awkward NPCs.

On the plus side traversal and general gameplay/combat looks amazing!

Yes, didn’t pre-order but decided to pick it up at the local store on my way home. It’s been pretty good so far, 5~ hours in. Kinda slow, hopefully it picks up the pace a bit later on.

Not a fan of timed exclusives but they work on me. I want to play it day one. If I had the choice of PC or PS5, I’d purchase it on PC. Now Sony will get my money instead.

10/10. Best Call of Duty game I’ve played in years. Never thought I’d see the day. It would’ve been my personal GOTY if it wasn’t for Elden Ring.

@Darude84 That’s great! My “problem” is I’ve played so many games already. I’m sure there are gems I have yet to discover but so far I can’t say the selection have been exceptional, for me.

@huyi You were right not to choose the premium tier. I got 5 years stocked up and so far I’ve finished like two games, Returnal and Stray, and that’s Extra tier games too… As for the Mafia games there’s no way I’ll have time to finish ‘em before they leave unfortunately.

No, simply because I’m not interested in PSVR2. I only used my PSVR a handful of times before I got bored.

As for the price I think it’s about right. A niche product filled with cool tech ain’t gonna come cheap.

Pre-ordered this morning from a local retailer since we don’t have PlayStation Direct in my country. I was planning to get it either way so might as well pre-order.

Personally, I’m good as long as Sony’s exclusive titles offers a 60 fps performance mode. But I wish for all console-only gamers that all new PS5 games should have a 60 fps mode available.

@carlos82 Correct. That is the main gripe. It’s utilizing less than half of my GPU/CPU at times. It’s mind blowing how they can release a game in such a state…

@xandercorvin Hold off on this one. It'll take them a good month or two to sort things out I reckon. GOW:R is just around the corner as you mentioned but Hogwarts Legacy was delayed until 10th of February. So perhaps you'll have time to play Gotham Knights in between GOW:R and Hogwarts!

@carlos82 Ha yeah, it’s bad alright. FPS is fine but the stutters… not even my brand new 4090 is immune to that crap. I capped it at 60 fps to at least mitigate huge sudden fps drops when you enter a new area etc, it helps a bit with the stutter.

But I played Arkham Knight at launch on PC too, so I kind of knew what I got myself into.

@djlard You do you. Luxury item might be pushing it but I see most people think this price point is outrageous for a controller. I spent almost $3000 on a GPU the other day so I would be lying if I said $199 is too expensive.

Yes, day one. But I don’t recommend anyone getting it unless you have money to splurge on luxury items like this.

It sucks we’re not seeing 60 fps on current-gen consoles to be honest. But I’m happy DualSense is natively supported on PC for this game, so I’m not missing out on adaptive triggers and haptic feedback!

@jrt87 I’m playing on PC and it runs great. But you’re gonna need a seriously high-end PC to play on Ultra in 4K. Smooth sailing with the 40 series and DLSS 3 enabled for me.

Great review! I started playing today myself. Sucks to hear there are crashes on console. I couldn’t wait so I switched to NZ on PC to start early. 7 hours straight with zero crashes, actually thought the performance was solid overall.

I like how the skills upgrade works. Pretty clever!

@Agramonte You’re in for a treat when you get to Asterigos. I completed it this weekend and it’s probably my favorite indie game this year so far. It’s pretty long too, took me roughly 28 hours to complete most of the game.

It borrows freely from Dark Souls but still retains some originality. And it’s definitely not as hard or unforgiving as your regular Souls game.

This becoming a trend? People reporting Plague Tale: Requiem is also coming with nothing but 30 fps. Lovely. Hope it’s a false alarm.

@ROTTIEMAN16 That’s the thing. Minimum PC requirements for 1080p low 60 fps is a Core i5/GTX 1660 Ti. And WB telling us they can’t lower the resolution to achieve 60 fps on console... That just doesn’t sit right with me.

Most unfortunate. Hard pass on console version. I’m sure they’ll cave and fix it down the line but I really wanted to play this day one, so PC it is.

Spending this weekend with Asterigos: Curse Of The Stars. Having a surprisingly good time with it! Wasn’t on my radar, just stumbled upon it.

@brazzios_84 Ha ha, no joke. But honestly, I wouldn’t buy it in the first place if the power bill was a financial burden for me. In fact, I wouldn’t recommend a high-end PC to anyone if you don’t have money to splurge like me. PS5 is crazy good value. My PC? Not so much.

@4kgk2 Well, I said proper 4K60FPS but Quality FSR 2.1 will suffice. I can’t tell the difference. My 4090 should come in today or tomorrow, we’ll see if it changes things.

Not interested in a Slim model. Waiting for the PS5 Pro with real 4K60FPS capabilities and proper RT, not just poor reflections RT we’re seeing today.

Eh, not too concerned. I have already given my number to some of the major companies out there for MFA. Blizzard probably already got it from the time when I was playing lots of D3 years ago.

But they’ll likely drop the requirement after a day or two post launch like Overwatch 2.

GOTY is obviously pushing it but I honestly loved the game. Female Dani Rojas was dope.

@Gooseman42 Nah, I got the exact same feeling. Despite the game having low graphics I still experienced numerous noticeable FPS drops (PS5). Not a good sign, but perhaps it’s fixed in the full version.

I did enjoy the combat though. Still on the fence if I should purchase it or not. If it got a good story and interesting combat/characters I can definitely look past the mediocre graphics.

I’m rushing through all DLCs on PC right now (1 month free Ubisoft+). If I can stomach more Valhalla content after that I’ll hit this up on PS5.

Ubisoft’s cross-save/progression is actually really good.

That sucks, imo. I’m forced to replay the entire game multiple times just to see a few different outcomes? No thanks, I’ll play it once and YouTube any interesting parts I missed if necessary.

Demo was alright. Pretty rough and needs polishing though. Regardless, really tempted to pick it up. Combat was smooth and fun!
