Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Extra, Premium Games for May 2024?

RDR2 is a very pretty game with lots of memorable moments and fun content. Problem I have with it (and indeed most GTA/Rockstar games) are the horrendous finicky clunky controls, it just never becomes intuitive. Looking forward to trying the Cat Quests - personally I find even with the odd disappointing month the PS Plus to be tremendous value for money, really don't understand the moaners here.

@Titntin absolutely spot on, I've noticed this decidedly unfortunate trend myself - people worry about the state of the games industry and it must be soul-destroying for developers and Sony in general to be exposed to this relentless hyperbolic moaning - well, my message is that I love the service and think it's incredible value for money

Re: Most PS5 Players Say 60fps Is a Must

Of course it entirely depends on what kind of game you're playing. Action rpgs, sports sims, beat-em-ups? Yes, 60fps is a must. In any case, would much rather play a brilliant game at 30fps than a mediocre one at 60fps.

Re: Rise of the Ronin (PS5) - A Safe, Outdated Open World Game

6/10? Sorry, don't trust this review one little bit. The same tired tropes were being rolled out by critics about 'the story' in Team Ninja games all the way back to Nioh. This is a game not a movie, 'the story' serves as a powerful mood setting for gameplay: true going all the way back to Doom and almost any other classic title.
