It's probably just the western name for XX. I'd love to see a MH on PS4 though as I don't plan on buying a switch and I need something to scratch that itch...
I'm really excited to see what sucker Punch has been working on. Second Son was one of the very first games I played on my PS4, and it's still in my top 10 favorites of this gen.
@kyleforrester87 I picked up KH remix yesterday as well! There's so much content there but remember that the two DS games Re:coded and 358/2 days are actually movies since the games weren't ported just the cutscenes. Also I highly recommend playing chain of memories before playing 2 because it adds quite a bit to the story and fills in a ton of gaps between the games. Chain of memories was my intro to kingdom hearts but I played the GBA version so I'm excited to replay it on PS4.
Was gonna wait a while, but I got a good deal with Amazon prime on the steel book so this game will soon be my go to on PS4. Also there are barely any copies in any of the retail stores around here. My buddy got the last copy GameStop had yesterday at 10 am!
Sounds to me like this would have been better if the levels weren't randomly generated. More structured and balanced levels and more of a focus on enemy design and placement and this game could've been something great. It'll be interesting to see how they improve the design if they ever make a sequel.
Excellent review @ShogunRok! These games are really hard to explain to someone who hasn't played one yet, but I think you did a brilliant job of it!
@get2sammyb Yup, this game will definitely be in my collection at some point. I'm just another victim of "too many great games, too little time" and money. Fortunately, it's actually not such a bad spot to be in.
Review score was expected for me. I mean you guys gave P4G a perfect score too if I remember correctly and from the gameplay I've seen of this, it is that game with a 2017 coat of paint. As much as I know I'm gonna love this game, I'm still playing Horizon and don't have the money for it just yet. I've also decided to start buying games after they have dropped in price a bit. As much as I would love to support my favorite developers with day 1 purchases, it just doesn't make sense to me to fork over $60 for a game I know will eventually be $20 or less in a few months. Since I came in late to the PS4 party there are tons of great games that are cheap now too. So I'll be patient and save some money while I'm at it.
Just got Horizon so I'll have to say Mass Effect but I'll be picking up The Nonary Games at some point also. Played the first on DS and loved it. Bit bummed the third isn't included though and might pick up a vita so I can play the whole series. I seem to enjoy this type of game on a handheld more anyways. Or I may just give Danganronpa a try since I know all of those are available on PS4. To buy a vita or not to buy a vita... Decisions, decisions...
Preordered using credit I got from the CoD game that was packed in with the PS4 I bought along with some extra credit I had from previous trades at GameStop. Can't wait for Tuesday!
Really solid presentation. 10/10 for back to back gameplay instead of lots of suits talking for ages. Wasn't interested in every game but there was definitely enough there to keep me interested.
Persona 3 FES on PS2. Gonna have a summer full of PS2 games since I sold my original PS4 to a good friend and plan on using the money to buy the new model when it comes out. Gives me a good chance to discover why the PS2 was such a beloved console.
@SonyInfinity thanks for the recommendations! Everything is pointing at bloodborne for me at the moment, so I'll try it out next! Also even though I feel that the Witcher was better than Fallout, it was mostly because it was so different in setting to what I'm used to. It is lke an open world Monster Hunter game and I loved it for that reason
Still need to finish Hearts of Stone but I'm locked into finishing the Nathan Drake Collection at the moment. The Witcher is a fantastic game but like others have said I've put so much time into it that it needs a break.
@SonyInfinity just out of curiosity which games would you name? Always looking for good suggestions on which game to play next.
It's much too early to even think about a PS5. As long as game development takes, generations of consoles could become longer. Of course it could be argued that with the architecture of the PS4 development could easily be moved to a new console and be dual release like some games were at the start of this gen.
@bbq_boy I'm a little late on this reply and maybe you know by now but you can use share factory to do some really neat things with your gameplay vids, including cutting out sections.
5 to 6 hours is perfect for a game like this. I'm betting it'll be similar to Life is Strange and Telltale's games with first person puzzles thrown in. Really looking forward to it!
Loved playing Rogue Legacy until I realized just how bad I was at it and stopped. Didnt really like the idea of the game not having an end, but I'll probably pick this up sometime anyway. Sounds like it'll be a good time waster and most of Vlambeer's output has been enjoyable.
Agreed! On my second play through and have been going for an all stealth build. Kinda difficult early on but totally worth it once you get access to the Deliverer and Tinker Tom Special.
@get2sammyb thanks for getting rid of that spam, by the time I logged in to report it it had disappeared! I really appreciate all the work you guys do to keep a clean and enjoyable comments section.
It's been an awesome year all round for gaming, some of my favorites include Witcher 3 and the Hearts of Stone expansion, along with Uncharted Collection (old games I know but the improvements BluePoint made to the first game made it much more playable than the original for me), and to a lesser extent Fallout 4 (game was impressive, but I was spoilt from the storytelling in Witcher 3 and it also didn't help that a friend of mine spoiled a major plot point before I even started playing.)
DriveClub has finally clicked with me and I can't stop playing it trying to collect stars I've missed. I'm also really enjoying the bikes add-on. Also need to play through Hearts of Stone and get back to the UC Collection at some point. Ordered P3 FES for my PS2 today also so I'll have some late nights coming up.
I'm just finishing off persona 4 golden before I go back to school tomorrow. May even sneak the vita to class with me if I don't get through it...just can't wait to solve this mystery!
Tried this one but had a hard time with the handling model. I might give it another go if I can find a copy cheap. I have the season pass so I really should give it another go.
@rjejr I'd say it will release near the end of this year in time for the holidays. and knowing Square, we'll get a "definitive" edition with more content and some dlc 6 months to a year later.

TL;DR This game is amazing and I am broke!

Tuesday seems so far away... This is the first I've been this excited for a game in a while.... Well not counting persona 5...
Re: Review: Horizon: Zero Dawn (PS4)
Preordered along with Persona 5 and still have FFXV and Valkyria Chronicles on the back burner. I'll be busy til fall at this rate.

Re: The Witcher 3: Blood and Wine Spills Several Gorgeous New Screenshots
Loving these shots. Looks much more colorful than the main game areas. Not to say those areas didn't look fantastic themselves.
Re: Persona 5 May Finally Summon a Release Date Next Month
Can't wait for this game! Currently playing through P3 FES on my ps2 and enjoying it thoroughly.
Re: Vibrant Street Fighter V PS4 Theme Free for PlayStation Plus Members
@Grimwood I'm actually using the firewatch theme. It's excellent with good sounds and visuals but a bit expensive.

Persona 5 if that wasn't already obvious from my avatar. Other than that Gravity Rush 2, FFXV, and Nier (because Platinum).

@get2sammyb there's really something for everyone on this list, that's for sure!
Re: Poll: What Was Your Fave PS4 Game of Paris Games Week 2015?
No love for Nier??? Easily my most anticipated by far. If it's even half as good as Bayonetta 2 it would be the best game on PS4 for me.
Re: Uncharted 4's Single Player DLC May Plot an Experimental Path
So then a very young version of Nate showing us those small beginnings when he very first met Sully?
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 88
Got some broken age in on PS4 and working on Final Fantasy X HD on Vita. Needed a new JRPG after finishing P4G the other day.
Re: TGS 2015: Game Boy's Final Fantasy Adventure Gets a PS Vita Remake

Re: Could the PS4 Be About to Score PS2 Games?
Would love to see this happen! Persona 4 and I'm sold (even though I already have a vita and golden).
Re: Review: Curses 'N Chaos (PS4)
@Dan_ozzzy189 not sure if you found it yet but the price is usually in the game overview pane at the top of the page on the right. This one is $9.99.

Re: Yes, You Probably Will Still See Rise of the Tomb Raider on PS4 Someday
@Faruko what @Gamer83 says is true...he's pretty critical of all consoles actually...he's definitely not a blind fanboy
Re: Guide: Hints and Tips for Beginners in The Witcher 3 on PS4
@JesWood13 that's much smaller than I was expecting! No need to get a new hard drive just yet then.
Re: Guide: Hints and Tips for Beginners in The Witcher 3 on PS4
How big is this game? 40-50 gb I assume?
