@Arkemyr Going by the first trailer i don't think so. I can very much see Venom getting a spin off game so i think they will stick with Eddie.

@RedRiot193 Harry has never been Venom and the games aren't really inspired by the Ultimate line at all. I would say it has more in line with 616 then Ultimate.

@practicein2021 Destiny gave birth to the live service looter shooter and stuff like raids, events and on going content. Yes MMO's were doing that long before Destiny but Destiny bought it to the masses and made it popular.

I would kill for a cel shaded black suit skin that mimics the Animated Series look as it looked amazing in the show.

So i don't think Harry is Venom in the game now, i think Peter finds Harry and then gets infected, after a boss fight with Miles he ends up at the church loses the suit who then as usual gets passed down to Eddie who will be a new character in the game.

I just hope Peter doesn't lose MJ in this because well with how things are going in the comics right now i can't handle another Peter and MJ split.

Say what you will about Bungie but Destiny 2 is one of the biggest games on the planet and one of the bihgest live service games on the planet, not only that Bungie pretty much invented the modern day live service formula. If Bungie didn't like what they saw with Factions then chances are it was for good reason.

@GodofCapcom But we did get a cringe trailer and details after that sound bad. Fun fact about trailers is that they're meant to sell audiences on it and make you want it so if that fails then Sony has done a bad job, why should i care about something that looks like a reject from the 2018 live service playbook?

@twinspectre90 Or you need to understand a game you happened to like wasn't actually that well received elsewhere. The playercount was low and most didn't like it so it was naturally dropped.

@GodofCapcom Ahh i see you're a troll 🙄 Players don't want live services as this year has proved considering how many have died or launched to nothing, the live service ship has long sailed for Sony and they are just wasting money on these dead on arrival games. Bland shooters made by an ex Ubi dev is not exactly exciting.

@GodofCapcom Sure but NaughtyDog also have a fantastic track record off making games and the original Factions was pretty damn good. I agree Sony needs some MP focused games so why not reboot Killzone, give it the focus and budget they give the single player stuff and make it the next big thing?

End of the day Live Services are way past their peak and unless they're F2P new ones don't stand a chance especially shooters when there's endless amounts of them already out.

@Korgon Factions is the only live service title i care for from Sony and that's because ND won't just make a bog standard by the books title, it will no doubt offer something more and be really good.

Both games are already dead. Sony is too late to the party with live services now, they own Destiny so focus on that instead of creating live service games no one cares for or wants.

Factions, Wolverine, Sucker Punch, Bluepoint, Santa Monica and so on where were they? Instead we got some CGI trailers for some 1st party live service rubbish that is already dead before arrival, some Destiny content, VR stuff and a bunch of 3rd party stuff. Spider-Man 2 looks great as does AC but overall it was a poor showcase.

@djlard Devastation? I mean maybe you should have supported Syndicate and Unity more then as the underwhelming sales led Ubi to change course what going by sales and reviews for Origins, Odyssey and Valhalla was a good move. Honestly i find it funny how people forget that Ubi were always changing up AC every few entries.

I was really hyped for DD2 but i wasn't feeling it here to be honest, maybe its the RE engine taking away the charm or the fact it looked a tad MH like i just wasn't that fussed. Annoying as i adore the first game.

@Pat_trick I mean its a set piece what did you expect? Would you rather they were saving kids balloons? We actually learnt a lot about the open world like the fact Queen's included, Miles has a glide thing and that underwater gameplay might feature.

Well other then Spider-Man 2 and MGS3 i thought it was pretty damn poor. It was just endless indies and 3rd party stuff and barely anything from Sony themselves. Where was Wolverine? Bluepoint? Factions? Sucker Punch?

Spider-Man 2 does look incredible though.

The fact this had a proper release date of Jan 2021 complete with an option to pre-order with bonuses included is incredible.

Honestly just do a Mass Effect style remaster of the entire trilogy and call it a day so they can focus on and make a new entry.

Hyped but i'm keeping my expectations in check, i expect some big things but i'm trying to be realistic with it.

If Bloodborne hits PC then at the very least the PS4 version better get a 60fps patch for PS5.

@Impossibilium That would be a huge change to Spider-Gwen though as the whole point of her appeal is she isn't Peter's Gwen and that she comes from a universe where she becomes "Spider-Man" instead of Peter and he's the one to die instead of her. Without the appeal of her universe and backstory she has no place in this universe unless they explore the Multiverse (what is so overused right now in media and comics).

@Brawl4002 Yeah while i'm not sure if Venom will be playable in SM2 i do think a spin off is surely happening and i think that's where Carnage will be used.

Best Spidey story ever in my opinion but i would rather they do their own story. I also think both Venom and Kraven aren't the big bads.

@zupertramp I mean are they niche? Prime is pretty popular and The Boys is one of its biggest most popular and critically acclaimed shows and when Invincible was being shown you you couldn't move for Omni Man stuff online, hell the hype around it is why i checked it out to see what the fuss is about.

End of the day guest characters sell more then any other character and Invincible S2 and The Boys S4 are coming within a year, i expect the DLC will nicely tie in for when the shows drop.

I mean for the most part they sell well so why would they stop?

@belmont Suicide Squad bland? Even tje awful 2016 SS film had colourful characters like Harley and Boomerang. Peacemaker though is from The Suicide Squad film directed by James Gunn who made the Guardians of the Galaxy films, its a fantastic film with great characters and the Peacemaker show was a spin off from that film, its on Amazon Prime i think so if you sub to it i recommend the film it you have yet to watch it. Also if you do have Prime and don't mind graphic violence then i can't recommend The Boys enough, easily one of the best comic book shows out there and a perfect show if you're burnt out on Marvel and DC, its a very adults only show but its very smart and very satirical on are corp driving world.

If there's one game i have no fears on its Spider-Man 2 as Insomniac are in a league of their own.

@belmont Sure but The Boys and Invincible are big popular shows, The Boys is one of the biggest shows Amazon has and is currently filming its 4th season. Both are also two big popular comics as well.

@GigaGaia Of course they can its called rewriting the plot. TV and Film do it all the time and if Marvel can rewrite Black Panther 2 around its leading star passing then GG can rewrite Horizon 3 around Lance's passing.

The Gen has only really just started after years of cross gen and already Sony and MS seem to be interested in upgrades. I despise mid gen upgrades as it just screws over the loyal customers who already bought the consoles.

Shell most likely pre-order the premium as soon as pre-orders go up, i adore MK and always commit for the long haul so i might as well go all in.

@UltimateOtaku91 It would make MS buying Activision irreverent to Sony as GTA 6 will be the biggest most hyped game of all time and everyone will buy a PS5 for it especially if a PC port comes later as usual. If that does happen i'm avoiding PureXbox for a while 😅

Really excited to see where they go with this story wise considering how MK11 and its expansion ended. Will Raiden just be human now? will Liu Kang still be a God? are the kids like Cassie still around? are Scorpion and Sub Zero still friends or are they enemies again? So many questions.

She's a great actress who i'm sure will be great in the sequel that said i can't help but groan with Kojima's obsession with using big expensive Hollywood actors over actual voice actors who would most likely do a better job. All that said i'm very excited for the sequel as the first one was an incredible game and one of my favourites of last gen.

Not shocked, i guess MS needed a win after the past month of disasters. In 2033 Xbox will be long dead and MS will be 3rd party so no need to worry there haha.

@Slippship Vita? Its a great console but the Switch is more powerful and has way more games, the Vita is hardly an argument against the Switch especially when its best game in Persona 4 Golden is now on Switch and everything else.
