FF15 was good but an unfinished mess and Forspoken is well Forspoken so not exactly shocked.

Tekken 8, Street Fighter 6 and maybe MK12, damn fighting fans are eating well this year.

2023 GOTY here we come.

Demo was brutal but i loved what i played and plan on buying it this week.

A Dead Space 3 remake that puts in line with the first two, removes the MTX BS and gives the series a proper ending would be pretty sweet.

Wo Long is my gaming buy this week, love Team Ninja games like this and it looks fantastic.

Even as a big DC fan i'm skipping this, it looks awful and somehow feels like Avengers but worse. Other then performances from the cast nothing about it sounds or looks good.

@tallythwack Vampires Survivors is brilliant though, simple yes but really fun and addictive and gaming at its most pure.

It gets better and better 🤣🤣🤣 Marvel's Avengers 2.0 here we come.

Funny this game is happening when live services are falling apart and games like Elden Ring, God of War and WB's own Hogwarts are doing far better.

I guess the boycott was all talk then? Fantastic news as its a great game and well done to the clearly talented Devs as they never made anything like this before or a game at this scale.

Shame as i really wanted Injustice 3 next. That said i love MK so MK12 is welcome and it will be interesting to see where they go with it considering how MK11 and its expansion ended.

@ironcrow86 I expect the game is more WB's doing then Rocksteady.

@Atreus97 GK is a solid enough game if you like the Bat Family and don't go expecting Arkham, its not a life service and does have a decent story and character work.

So WB and Rocksteady saw Marvel's Avengers and thought we want to do that. Looks very bland, story makes no sense taking place after AK and i think the game will very much be another Marvel's Avengers.

Capcom carried it and even then that stuff was hardly great. Rather boring show and Suicide Squad looks like it wants to be the new Marvel's Avengers for some reason haha.

Solid list. Might try out Battlefield 2042 and see how its improved.

Finally. Shame they didn't take this chance to bump both this and Unity up to 60fps though, that said i may redownload it and have a replay.

Yeah its basically just VR2, another godawful Expedition that no ones likes doing and QoL stuff no one was asking for. Its been almost a year since the last update of actual note considering the anniversary update was just a dumbing update for Switch players and added nothing worthwhile. So yeah overall not happy with this update.

Its worth noting if you have an Xbox it is on there with all the DLC. That said a 4K/60fps remaster would be more ideal.

I can easily see it being the best selling game this year.

@AdamNovice That "review" was laughable and i really don't think the writer even played it considering how much they got wrong or BS about in the "review".

Far from finished and have some minor issues but based on what i've played its easily a 9/10 so far. Its easily the best HP game and i can easily see it being a GOTY contender for me.

Its one thing harassing Druckman and ND but Laura and this girl had nothing to do with what Abby done and her actions they just played a part and done what they were told to do. Jesus christ incels are so f**king pathetic.

What's interesting about Hogwarts is the last gen versions aren't out yet meaning the huge sales have come from just current gen and PC, it shows the shift to current gen has really started to get going this past year.

The issue is while the combat is fun there isn't much else to it and the monetisation is pretty bad.

@add286 How is it? If you buy a game at launch you aren't giving the promise of a year or two before it hits Plus. Its a been year since it was released that's more then enough time for it to be "acceptible" to hit Plus. It sounds like the issue here is you wanted it for "free" but didn't have the patience to wait for such a thing and are now sour that a year on its now on Plus.

@add286 I bought Hogwarts Digital Deluxe for £75 even though chances are in a few months it will be £50 or something. Buying a game at launch is nearly always the worst deal money wise but its the cost you pay to play it straight away. Maybe if it bothers you so much don't buy games anymore and just live off Plus and Gamepass, between them you will sooner or later get access to nearly every game throughout the gen.

They really need to cast Jensen as the new DCU Batman.

Yeah it would have been too much of a repeat of the Greek Saga where dying and coming back happened all the time. I'm glad they ditched it.

Sunk a godly amount of time into it on Gamepass, its so relaxing and chilling.

@Bez87 Its not a remake its just a current gen version. They also done way more they just adding 4K to it with way mire foliage, bigger crowds, bigger draw distance, a new camera position, added a photo mode, better textures, an RT mode, 60fps and much more. Also all of this is free.

Had the Deluxe version pre-ordered and have been playing since Tuesday. Its a fantastic game and really captures the world perfectly.

@Saitama117 It would be far more unrealistic for them to not solve changing sex with magic when this is a world where changing ones appearance and even species is pretty damn easy to do to the point a 2nd year student can do it without much hassle.

@Saitama117 No one can solve a broken arm by magic in real life either yet its something that happens in JK's world.

Why not include the character? Why include a black character? Why include a white character? Why include straight people? All i'm getting from you is you wanted everyone to be Cis and you're annoyed they dared add someone who isn't that. Going by your answer to my question i think its clear what the real issue is with you.

@Saitama117 Its not repensenting real life its repensenting the world of "Hogwarts" and in that world they use magic to solve every issue they have and considering its the 1800's they wouldn't have access to what Trans people have now. Why it is token? It seems any time media has a character who isn't white and straight they're "token", are you Trans? If not you really shouldn't speak for them.

@Bentleyma I refuse to believe it will run and look good on Switch, i have a feeling PS4 and X1 won't cope well let alone Switch.

Its a fantastic game and its easily an early GOTY contender for me.

@Saitama117 Not relatable to real life? Its Hogwarts dude you know magic and stuff and i can bet if magic existed what could allow you to change sex in real life most Trans people would pick it. Who cares if the game has a Trans character and believe it or not even in the 1800's Trans people existed.

Already playing Hogwarts and its everything i wanted it to be and more.

After the Dead Space remake i have full trust in these Devs for the game.

@Jtheripper There isn't going to be Pro this Gen. The reason we got a mid gen upgrade last gen was because Sony and MS wanted to jump on the 4K train as they just missed it with the original base consoles and not only that but the base X1 is an under-powered wreck that MS needed to correct.

@TurboTom Forspoken has an awful engine that'a why it looks awful. Dead Space another current gen exclusive looks far far better even in performance mode and i'm currently playing Hogwarts in Quality Ray Tracing mode and its leads ahead of Forspoken. Forspoken runs and looks awful on PC as well.

The PS5 and Series X are not under-powered and don't need upgrades. Right now the consoles have barely even shown what they're capable off but with the release of Spider-Man 2, Final Fantasy 16 and Forza this year both consoles will show why current gen has finally started.

Very sad news as its a fantastic game and i really wanted another one.

Got the Deluxe version downloaded and waiting to be unlocked tonight. Very excited to finally play it, 10 year old me would be so jealous of 29 year old me right now haha

Give us that GOTY worthy expansion. Yeah i said GOTY worthy as From make some of the best expansions out there that usually surpass the base game.

The writing is pretty bad though, not the actresses fault mind you.
