@Northern_munkey You’re absolutely correct in your way of thinking but this could be just a simple case of synonymous terminology as opposed to grammar. “Crowned” is correct. But “Clowned” on the other hand incidentally happens to be newer and I believe that’s it. Hope that helps. 👍
@get2sammyb know what, I’ll toss you a bone. Hate to see a fellow mister mosquito fan celebrate alone so I’m writing this comment purely to say Yay I love mister mosquito
Hmmm a few of these might be worthy additions to the PushSquare Game Club, I’ll have to ask the club once voting time comes to gauge interest. Thanks for the list.
@Czar_Khastik it’s possible you’re getting it from a grey-market or external store (aka a store that’s not stocked directly by Sony). Things are like that in Kuwait. Everything is a smudge more expensive. Kuwait is obviously west Asian and not EU, but it’s still PAL if I’m not wrong. So we’re PALs.
@PerpetualBoredom I honestly can’t see myself buying it either. If they’re this comfortable charging 700 pounds, lord only knows what a ps6 would cost.
I was readying my fingers to write a giant recommendation for Gradius, then my tired eyes did a triple take. I dodged an embarrassment sure, but now I’m sitting back from work feeling both tired and silly.
Uhhh… Grandia is probably good though you should probably try it. Tbh I always wanted to do a giant binge of ps1 rpgs so maybe I should take the plunge.
As someone who saw this show when it was new I don’t really understand how it maintained cultural relevance for so much time. Even when it was at the peak of its popularity it still looked like a weird toddler show with an unsettling artstyle. Maybe I was wrong. I do find that hot cocoa scene to be incredibly funny.(referring to the article’s sub).
On the other side of the coin, the comment above me surprised me in a way. I thought that given this game’s seeming level of care, that this would be a great NES throwback, a charm which I’ve yet to see properly emulated in a modern indie. Guess I’ll be waiting longer huh, or just tap again in my fave NES games for the millionth time when the urge hits again (not that I mind).
The last paragraph Sammy wrote especially rings true. While the frustration is understandable, it’s likely unrealistic to not place a cap on this kind of spending and licensing budget.
Days Gone dev of all people in the universe dissing Astro Bot of all games is one of the funniest bizarro headlines I could’ve read this evening. Genuinely speechless.
I’ve never experienced cloud gaming my whole life because it never came to this region ever but if it did I’d sure as hell try it just as a novelty, and this seems like a good way to get into it. How’d this compare to other live-streaming services? I have no reference since I never played any of them.
@2huwman I think you misunderstood the purpose of the guide. It’s not for “helpless people who already can’t beat the game”. It is merely a resource, and it absolutely makes all the sense in the world to have it ready as soon as possible and there’s nothing wrong with that approach at all. In fact, it should be commended, rather than discouraged.
Child of Light, since we’re playing it as part of the Push Square club. It was decided by votes, I will gather votes on the third Sunday if anyone wants to participate and join the club.
Banjo Tooie since we’re playing over the Pure Xbox club, it’s the game I voted for.
some general ps2 replays, including Pac-Man World 2, General GTA, Naruto Ultimate Ninja and Dragon Ball Z Budokai 3.
@PuppetMaster I was never good at FGs, but I love casual tekken and SF. This game been very fun. My character for this game been guile, in V it was Charlie, in IV it was Boxer and in 2 it was constant switch-ups between Guile, Ryu and Boxer.
