I think they should re model the service at this point. So a FULL package that gives you streaming that is only available in certain countries and a DOWNLOAD package that offers the downloadable PS4 games to all countries. If they bulked the PS4 games out and charge £7.99, it would compete with Game Pass
I got he VR Unit for Xmas and I am loving it! I was quite skeptical of it for a while as I thought the experience I received at demo units did not match what people described. What I found out is that the demo units I tried were not set up correctly for me. They throw the head set on, place the headphones on and throw a controller at you. Now I have it, I spend a good 10 minutes setting everything up and found that the headset is best for me with the head band quite high up.
So far my favorite experience has got to be feeling like a giant in Astro Bots. So surreal!
@get2sammyb Maybe a port to PS5 will not be needed. Hopefully Sony are smart enough with the next gen and allow us to play all our PS4 games on their next piece of hardware. We can dream right? (See what I did there )
Argos has a fantastic deal on at the moment. PSVR V2 Headset + 2 Move Controllers + One Game = £229!
So good that my wife has brought it and put it away for Xmas for me! At that price, who could resist?
@DanM near the end when you need some info from an apartment block, I was shouting at the TV "no" when MJ told you that she could find a way in. But to be honest, this MJ mission is the one where you get the stun gun and man, it improves it so much!
I am surprised no one has brought up the load screens in the comments. I felt they ruined the pacing especially the brief load between entering an area and starting a mission. I would have loved to be able to swing straight into some missions - I know this would not be possible with some as Pete likes to scout the area first. May be because I have recently finished God of War but it did spoil it a little for me.
I still have my day one vita sitting on my desk as I type. Fantastic console, just not supported by Sony. Shame. With Sony's track record with the Move and Vita, this is one reason why I will not invest money in the VR (at the moment, that is before people start hating ).
As for the WiiU @get2sammyb, Nintendo have a track record of forgetting about past consoles the moment a new one comes out. The only time they look in the past is the countless re-releases of Super Mario Bro!
@LaNooch1978 I must agree, compared to those places, it is peaceful here. And how dare you say the last Zelda game was not 10/10 and the greatest thing since sliced bread! /s
What was the booth like? Rebellion always have a smallish booth and allow gamers to play for long periods. The queue at EGX last year for this was silly! But I did manage to get a play of this on an Xbox One as every one was leaving.
Whether the games all come out at once or spread out through out the year you don't have to buy games on the day of release. Pick a couple and then get the rest when they are cheaper! 😂
@kyleforrester87 I tried the first one but couldn't click with it. I think I expected a Resident Evil style game but it was a different beast all together! But this was on my Xbox One. Might have to re-invest.
Great review but I still struggle to see why this is a VR game. Don't get me wrong the game looks great and I can sort of understand what the sense of 3D can add but I am still not sold on the idea, especially for this game.
On a side note before any one jumps in; I am not a hater of the VR, I just wish that some games had the option for both VR & Non-VR as the pay wall is quite high with this
I remember finding Katamari like this. Sitting on break in my college job flicking through a PS2 magazine and stumbling across the game. People will say that there are too many games now but it is just because we now have access to view them all unlike in the past where only the big titles got all the attention. Plus gaming was not as mainstream as it is these days (god I sound old)
You cannot really say "split critics" with three review scores I do agree that the three do sit on the full scale of scores out of 10 which could give an indication of what is to come from other sites.
@get2sammyb Maybe you should have noted which ones are online only as I am currently looking for a local co op to play with a friend and got excited thinking Uncharted 4 had been updated! :/
@get2sammyb This is my worry with services like this (including PS Now). You could invest a lot of time into a game, not complete it and it gets removed from the services. You could have sunk, lets say 4 months in at £12.99 (Now Price) and when it gets removed you have to buy it to complete it. Nearly £52 spent! Might as well buy it! I think it would be similar for Game Pass
Is this VR only? And if so why? From what I have seen this is another game that could be a PS4 game with optional VR Support if your have the PSVR.
Until Dawn is one of my favorite games and it is a shame I cannot get more out of the world due to lack of hardware
EDIT: Might check some Let's Plays out YouTube thinking about it
@Roc ok.... The need for that? I just stated I passed on what I read from other reviews. I see you like it which is great. I'm not too concerned about the game atm as I need to finish 3! XD

Re: Where Can You Buy PlayStation Move Controllers for PSVR?
@Tasuki good prices? If so you need to start re selling them at a higher price!
Re: Where Can You Buy PlayStation Move Controllers for PSVR?
Got mine free in a bundle from Argos last November

Re: Mafia III Leads PlayStation Now November Update on PS4
@tomassi In the past, games have been updated for a week before they posted about them! XD
Re: Mafia III Leads PlayStation Now November Update on PS4
@tomassi That is if the EU remembers about the service.
Re: Feature: Celebrating PlayStation VR's Second Anniversary
Mine is waiting in it's box for xmas 😁🎄
Re: Sony Looking to Crank Up Communication with Fans
@get2sammyb they need a fun twitter account like the Xbox Game Pass one 😁
Re: Sony Looking to Crank Up Communication with Fans
@Paranoimia the eu blog is a joke. I remember a time when staff use to reply!

@DanM MJ missions are some of the worst levels I have ever played.
Re: There's a New PS Vita Firmware Update Out Now
@get2sammyb Oh yes it does do something
Fixes a flaw that allowed pirates in making it a very stable device!
Re: Soapbox: Sony's in Danger of Becoming Closed Off
It has been silent from Sony for years, especially on the EU blog.
They are getting cocky just like Microsoft did last generation 😳

Re: RAGE 2 Teaser Leaks Online Ahead of Official Announcement
@Constable_What In the UK you can pick it up for £1.50 in CEX
Re: Site News: Would You Kindly Complete Our Readership Survey?
@Neolit must have missed that XD

Re: RAGE 2 Is Open World, Being Made by Just Cause and Mad Max Developer
I hope they program a sprint button. Just Cause 3 felt slow to get momentum going as you seemed to gently jog everywhere
Re: Site News: Would You Kindly Complete Our Readership Survey?
Do you pre-order games? Yes / No
Select No.
How many games did you pre-order in 2017? Lowest number 1-3
Fail!
@LaNooch1978 Civil!? So far from the truth. Have a look at the Metal Gear Survivor review!
Re: Guide: The Best PS4 Co-Op Games
Again, would it hurt to have a tag saying local co op is an option?
Re: Hands On: Strange Brigade Is a Punchy, Pulpy 1930s Shooter

Re: Talking Point: Can Sony Actually Surprise at E3 2018?
PSone games on PS4 with trophy support
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 209
Bit of this, bit of that. But I am putting a bit of time into my Uncharted 2 hard run this weekend
Re: Bethesda Softworks Was 2017's Best Publisher, According to Metacritic
@kyleforrester87 Thinking about it, I feel the controls put me off. Its cheap as chips now so might have to try it again

@Fight_Teza_Fight It sounds like a quality over quantity type of game

Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@get2sammyb probably the latter. But for me it's just the cheek of the save slot that makes me not super interested.
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@Bad-MuthaAdebisi too many games have this free to play model these days. 😐
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@Kidfried I feel he may be a troll. He's account is just under 2hours old
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@CallMeAl huh? Hack? Sorry I feel I've missed something lo
All I hate is the $10 save charge.
I'll try it eventually once all kinks are ironed out
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@Flaming_Kaiser how dare you not like a specific genre or being online or paying for save slots! 😂
Each to their own. Gotta love the Internet and being told your opinion is wrong lol
I'll probably give this a go later in the year once I've killed my back log. Launch price of £20, will soon be £5.
@CallMeAl how is the open world? Plenty to do between travelling?
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
@McGuit I don't want to link to another site but just Google search it.
Good review but don't agree with score tbh. Currently better than The Impatient and I would rather play that, if I had a VR.
@Splat yeah this score cannot be right.
Re: Review: Metal Gear Survive (PS4)
That $10 new character charge though 🤣
Re: Talking Point: What Free March 2018 PS Plus Games Do You Want?
@Quintumply Came here to say this but you beat me to it 🤣
@Melucine does your dad work for Nintendo 😂

Re: Review: Mass Effect: Andromeda (PS4)
@kyleforrester87 I'll agree with this one. Horizon had a great launch. The fact it had no microtranstions was amazing, especially in 2017!
Re: Review: Mass Effect: Andromeda (PS4)
@Roc I did come a cross like that (basically friends talk sh*t) but hey no worries man. Enjoy your game.
