@mazzel but I can't play my entire Steam library on my Steamdeck. There are plenty of games that are not compatible or at best, compromised.

Makes perfect sense. Most households here in Japan only have one TV which is either in the living or dining room. You might get a small TV in a bedroom but it's rare and for those in small apartments (one room) this might be a better experience than playing on a small TV.

I'm sure there's a few cases of parents not understanding the product but they're not the ones preordering them, I'm sure.

People I know who've worked with him say he's very data-driven and he's a very effective decision-maker (not always a strong trait of Japanese business). Let's see.

I've been living in Japan for the most part since 2001 and like a lot of places, Kabukicho has been cleaned up a lot. Still, you can have a lot of fun there and if you want to see the real Kabukicho, it gets a lot more interesting after the trains stop running for the night.

This is inflammatory, speculative, click-baitery and pretty much baseless - wrapped in a bow for people who love to overreact. I guess pretty much on point for the gaming-entitled sect you've been fostering around recently. Though let's not go into the mixed signals - Sony can't do no wrong (sales figures, exclusives) - Sony sucks (pretty much everything else) - but hey, that's what passes/parses for journalism these days.
