SteamVR and PSVR2 will compete... What hardware gives me the best price and version Wins my cash. Not paying $550 to play as-is 900p/1080p PS4 VR games on BC. For that I buy them on my PC.
Same way PC vs PS5 and SteamDeck vs Switch compete for my cash

Re: 37 PSVR2 Games Confirmed for Launch Window as Sony Posts Full List
Lets go!
This is the most exciting times for me in VR land in some time. I really do want F1 support.
Re: Deadpool Deals Big Damage in Marvel's Midnight Suns Next Week
Nice, This is on my list. So many games it has been hard to keep up.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy the Persona 3 Portable, Persona 4 Golden Remasters?
Nope... already played them. Once is enough
Rather use my time and money for One Piece Odyssey and Monochrome Mobius than play the same jRPG (or games in general) over and over.
Not even my PC GamePass subscription makes it worth it. So many new games on PC/PS5 I need to play
Re: One Piece Odyssey Among Japan's Best Sellers During Launch Week
Great news. Enjoying it.
Looks great on my Steam Deck also. Another fun turn based jRPG in the library - glad they are still making these 👍
Re: Returnal Continues the Cycle on PC in February
Hoping for this. If It gets WeMod support I'll buy it.
Great thing about PC gaming, if you disagree with what developers think are "fun" mechanics you can simply mod it.
Re: 'AAAA' Title The Callisto Protocol Reportedly Falls Short of Expected Sales Figures
I enjoyed it and finished it - but it was a GameFly rental
I would buy Story DLC if it came out. Game does end in a cliffhanger I would like to continue.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy One Piece Odyssey?
Yes! Preorder... fan since a kid, and already hooked on the game. Turn-based jRPG fun 👍
But made this my handheld game, so got it for my SteamDeck (working perfectly so far on High/11W-TDP) was also cheaper at $42.
Great game to play before Forspoken on PS5... good times for RPGs in general.
Re: Poll: Would You Be Interested in a Detachable PS5 Disc Drive?
Renting, buying and selling used games is how I keep my cost down. Drive is a must
But already have a launch PS5 Disk version. And I never upgrade in the same generation... not PS3, PS4 or Switch.
One purchase per generation. Always at launch.
Re: Forspoken Continues to Divide Opinion Following PS5 Demo
Liked the demo. Still on my list (after One Piece)
As always, people complain about something in one game but same things gets a pass in another. More to do with being predetermined not to like it.
Voice work is not any more annoying than other jRPGs I've played.
Re: One Piece Odyssey (PS5) - Anime Dragon Quest Is Oh So Good
Yep, liked the combat in the Demo. This is a Day 1 keeper.
Re: Sony Reveals Highly Customisable Accessibility Controller for PS5
I am always happy to see all the accessibility options in modern games. Great to see it extending to hardware.
Bravo to Sony on this one.
Re: Bungie Has Multiple Unannounced Projects in Development with Sony's Support
That is good news.
For now - I finally played all the story content I was missing during Season of Plunder. I am ready for Lightfall.
Re: 30 Promising RPGs Coming to PS5, PS4 in 2023
It has been great for jRPGs lately, and looks like 2023 will be fantastic also.
My next combo is One Piece Odyssey on SteamDeck and Forspoken on PS5.
Final Fantasy XIV is what I am really waiting for... it looks epic. Will need to take a long weekend from work like I did for GOW.
Re: Free Gran Turismo 7 PSVR2 Update Confirmed for Launch
Great news. I was hoping for this. Racing is what I use VR on my PC the most for. All I need now is F1.
Re: UK Sales Charts: God of War Ragnarok Returns to the Top in Final Week of 2022
Best game on that list by a mile... so not surprising.
Everything else has a hard time holding my attention after I finished it. Same feeling I had after Elden Ring.
Re: Naughty Dog Can't Wait to Show New PS5 Projects
He is like Kojima for me... just needs to be something new in the works for me to get excited. Keep the games coming.
Re: Interview: Talking Biceps and Norse Studies with God of War Ragnarok's Mina Sundwall
She is one of the many highlights in the game. So many things make it such a fantastic experience.
Digital entertainment at its finest. Hope more from Sony in 2023 at this level.
Re: Kojima Productions Studio Tour Reveals Swankiest Offices You've Ever Seen
Wow... such a superstar. Everything he touches just screams talent.
But, that first bright white room would be an instant migraine for me 😓
Re: Biggest, Most Expansive Tomb Raider to Be Published by Amazon Games on PS5
Loved the last trilogy. So excited for this.
"Single player, narrative-driven adventure"... yeah, keep those coming!
Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 Will Officially Release Fall 2023, Sony Confirms
And the games just keep coming... it is simply amazing. Day 1.
Re: Hogwarts Legacy Delayed to April on PS4, PS5 Version Unaffected
Probably the PS4/X1/Switch cant actually run the game. Just made for extra money. So will keep trying a bit longer
People will see the warning signs and buy it anyway - later complain that is an awful version.
Re: Armored Core 6 Won't Adopt Elden Ring, Bloodborne Style Gameplay
Well after Daemon X Machina it can only get better. That got uninstalled pretty quickly from my PC.
From Software is one of my favorite developers right now - so the hope is there.
Re: Preview: Forspoken PS5 Feels Like a More Magical inFAMOUS
@NEStalgia
I was assuming... "you're all thinking it" 😅
Awesome it sold well enough for people to catch the reference. I guess if played it, will have a few ringing in the head somewhere.
Re: 'Flawless' New PS5 with Some Devs, Features Detachable Disc Drive
Sounds good, especially if seamless if you upgrade.
One reason I am not 100% PC is because I can rent, sell, trade and buy used 3rd party games on consoles. I always want the drive.
Re: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt - Complete Edition (PS5) - The Perfect Excuse to Replay a Masterpiece
Great that this is a free upgrade for anyone looking to play it over - or get the $12 "old version" and upgrade if new to the game.
Such a good game.
But with Forspoken, One Piece Odyssey and Hogwarts all in a row, not really investing what free time I have playing Witcher 3 again even if free.
Re: Preview: Forspoken PS5 Feels Like a More Magical inFAMOUS
Liked the demo. Can see combat/world keeping me entertained
Voice samples were not any worse than listening to "And I was the MVP..." for what seemed like five billion times.
Re: Returnal on PC Recommends Ridiculous Amount of RAM
People will just tone it down. Like most games.
Most of the Top 10 cards on Steam are not high-end. And most Steam Players still playing at 1080p.
Same way 13% of steam players have 32 gig of ram.
It is a fantasy that PC players can simply meet the requirements to run games better than what you are playing on a PS5. Potato rigs are everywhere
Re: UK Sales Charts: God of War Ragnarok Reclaims Number One as Christmas Nears
Not surprised, it is a fantastic game and a must play. Perfect example of what a story driven single player games should be.
Top it with Sony giving both gameplay and graphics for the money. Other publishers still making excuses on why you get one or the other.
Re: Actress Ella Balinska Anchors Massive Forspoken PS5 Showcase
So far really like the gameplay in the demo. Pre-order is a keeper.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 456
1. God of War (PS5)
2. Forspoken Demo (PS5)
Love GOW. I do not want it to end so heading back to get anything I have missed before moving towards the end of the story.
Re: Sonic Fanbase Heartbroken Over The Game Awards Loss
@carlos82
It is not limited to a game that launches in the same year. Most "ongoing games" are on the original 30 games in Round 1.
"The group consists of 2022 releases and ongoing games that are still considered relevant"
Destiny 2, Apex Legends, NoMansSky, Fortnite, Minecraft and FF14 were all in Round 1. Same as last year.
And it is up to the players. If "Version 3.0" beats "new game #3" that is just how it is
Re: Gallery: Star Wars Jedi: Survivor Looks Like a Force Leap Above Fallen Order on PS5
So excited for this... Day 1 for me.
Re: The Last of Us: Part I on PC Costs $20 Less Than PS5 Version
People should not be paying $49, $59 or $69 for rehash. PC, PS5, Switch... I skip them all.
I got Horizon on PC for $11 and that is because it has a modern benchmark I can use when tinkering.
3DMark wanted $9 for the TimeSpy upgrade.
Re: Busted! The Game Awards Stage Invader Arrested After Bill Clinton Interruption
Now I want to see Bill Clinton in a gaming advert
Someone needs to get Ryan Reynolds and Maximum Effort on it.
Re: Sonic Fanbase Heartbroken Over The Game Awards Loss
Genshin Impact had more of a world, combat and story content than Sonic by the 2nd expansion.
And it is 100% more fun to explore the world (that is stunning on PC) in co-op with a friend.
This was never a contest.
The JRPG wheels fall off Xenoblade 3 in Part 6. I still not gone back to finish it. It is a snoozefest.
Re: Round Up: What Was Announced at The Game Awards 2022?
Yeah... My PS5 game list exploded.
Single player story driven games up and down the list. Love it!
Re: Hades 2 Announced, But No PS5, PS4 Confirmation Yet
Early access makes more sense on PC. Actual release on everything.
But this is a SteamDeck game in my book. I already have tons of games on the PS5 list.
Re: Reaction: The Game Awards Finally Fulfils Its Potential
Skipped the fill and just saw all the highlights this morning and was amazed. Nicely done.
It was a flood of games for my PC/PS5.
Re: Sony Says It's Resolved Long-Term PS5 Stock Shortages
Well that is great news.
Re: Poll: Will You Be Watching The Game Awards 2022?
Not really
Just like the directs, I'll check the highlights later. See what new games they announced.
Re: Days Gone Director Blames Woke Reviewers, Programmers for Critical Reception
It has a "very Positive" score on Steam. From reviews you can actually see how long they played before posting a review.
I did not care for it, never finished it. Other games pulled me away
That said, there is a hypocrisy on "technical issues" ruining a score. If that was a case most Switch games would never be anything above 7.
Mostly selective outrage based on the iP/publisher/hardware
Re: Questions Over Free PSVR2 Upgrades Raised by Moss, Moss: Book II
SteamVR
Moss 1: $19
Moss: 2 $30
Bundle: $42
SteamVR and PSVR2 will compete... What hardware gives me the best price and version Wins my cash. Not paying $550 to play as-is 900p/1080p PS4 VR games on BC. For that I buy them on my PC.
Same way PC vs PS5 and SteamDeck vs Switch compete for my cash
Looks like PSVR2 is winning with Moss.
Re: Fresh Batch of PSVR2 Pre-Order Invites Sent Out in Europe
@Max_the_German
Nice, the hold goes away in a day. So not being charged today (at least not here in the US)
If still not convinced by Feb 10th just cancel it. No harm done in getting your spot in line today.
Re: Fresh Batch of PSVR2 Pre-Order Invites Sent Out in Europe
Great news. I have mine on lockdown in the US.
2023 is already looking like another amazing year to be in gaming.
Re: Fresh Batch of PSVR2 Pre-Order Invites Sent Out in Europe
@Nexozi
They can join the 4080 scalper disaster happening right now.
https://videocardz.com/newz/scalpers-struggling-to-sell-rtx-4080-cards-now-graciously-offering-them-at-msrp
Always a gamble.
Re: Gorgeous Indie Game GRIS Given PS5 Version, Runs at 4K 120fps
Yep, a game that deserves to be played in 4K.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 455
1. God of War (PS5)
2. Destiny 2 (PC) just getting ready for next season.
Finally home, so me SteamDeck gets a break. But got 3 months of GamePass ultimate so might see if can get Xcloud working on it.
Re: Poll: Are You Happy with Your PS Plus Essential Games for December 2022?
Super happy
And my PS+ Renewal is on Dec 26. Not that i had any intention of canceling it, but simply reinforces my decision of keeping it.
Re: Reaction: Sony Poised to End 2022 without Major Press Conference
I really have no need for any more game announcements cant even keep up with the ones I already want on PS5
And only have 2 months left to save as much as possible for my PSVR2 pre-order.
Sony can just let the year end at this point.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy The Callisto Protocol?
Next on my list after God of War.
But moved it to the GameFly list. Seems like a good rental game.
