Re: Poll: Did You Buy One Piece Odyssey?

Agramonte

Yes! Preorder... fan since a kid, and already hooked on the game. Turn-based jRPG fun 👍

But made this my handheld game, so got it for my SteamDeck (working perfectly so far on High/11W-TDP) was also cheaper at $42.

Great game to play before Forspoken on PS5... good times for RPGs in general.

Re: 30 Promising RPGs Coming to PS5, PS4 in 2023

Agramonte

It has been great for jRPGs lately, and looks like 2023 will be fantastic also.

My next combo is One Piece Odyssey on SteamDeck and Forspoken on PS5.

Final Fantasy XIV is what I am really waiting for... it looks epic. Will need to take a long weekend from work like I did for GOW.

Re: Returnal on PC Recommends Ridiculous Amount of RAM

People will just tone it down. Like most games.

Most of the Top 10 cards on Steam are not high-end. And most Steam Players still playing at 1080p.

Same way 13% of steam players have 32 gig of ram.

It is a fantasy that PC players can simply meet the requirements to run games better than what you are playing on a PS5. Potato rigs are everywhere

Re: Sonic Fanbase Heartbroken Over The Game Awards Loss

@carlos82

It is not limited to a game that launches in the same year. Most "ongoing games" are on the original 30 games in Round 1.

"The group consists of 2022 releases and ongoing games that are still considered relevant"

Destiny 2, Apex Legends, NoMansSky, Fortnite, Minecraft and FF14 were all in Round 1. Same as last year.

And it is up to the players. If "Version 3.0" beats "new game #3" that is just how it is

Re: Sonic Fanbase Heartbroken Over The Game Awards Loss

Genshin Impact had more of a world, combat and story content than Sonic by the 2nd expansion.

And it is 100% more fun to explore the world (that is stunning on PC) in co-op with a friend.

This was never a contest.

The JRPG wheels fall off Xenoblade 3 in Part 6. I still not gone back to finish it. It is a snoozefest.

Re: Days Gone Director Blames Woke Reviewers, Programmers for Critical Reception

Agramonte

It has a "very Positive" score on Steam. From reviews you can actually see how long they played before posting a review.

I did not care for it, never finished it. Other games pulled me away

That said, there is a hypocrisy on "technical issues" ruining a score. If that was a case most Switch games would never be anything above 7.

Mostly selective outrage based on the iP/publisher/hardware

Re: Questions Over Free PSVR2 Upgrades Raised by Moss, Moss: Book II

Agramonte

SteamVR

Moss 1: $19
Moss: 2 $30
Bundle: $42

SteamVR and PSVR2 will compete... What hardware gives me the best price and version Wins my cash. Not paying $550 to play as-is 900p/1080p PS4 VR games on BC. For that I buy them on my PC.

Same way PC vs PS5 and SteamDeck vs Switch compete for my cash

Looks like PSVR2 is winning with Moss.
