Yeah, I broke down and got one (Had tons of Bestbuy reward points)
It is nicer than I thought it would be based on the pictures. It definitely beats my old controller clip set-up in every way.
But it makes zero sense it is also not just an App for the Steam Deck or make the Windows app see the Legion GO controller out of the box. Would have been happy to even pay for it.
Also played Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Tears of the Kingdom and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on that list. Great to see them all got good support. Single player games not going anywhere.
Reading subtitles after a long day at work is not how i sometimes want to play a game. And Steamdeck has the same issue as Switch where some developers do not scale text for the smaller screen. Good to have the option.
Publishers should simply disregard when people complain about a feature that is "optional"
That will not be answered until we see what comes after Destiny 2.
D2 should have ended ages ago.
The world they created is fantastic, and when you get new content the gameplay still clicks and a blast to play with friends. But this chapter of Destiny is done.
New players cant even play the story the way this nonsense is set up. I would never invest to start Destiny 2 today if I was a new player.
Only update I care about is FSR 3 Frame Generation and taking Path Tracing out of "experimental" on PC.
With that I will get extra value as a PC Benchmark Tool in the next few years. Even if no more story content.
It has everything I would want to bench when RTX5000 and RX8000 cards come out. And 100% 1st game I will benchmark a Legion GO with if I get one next year.
I guess if this is what you are planning to do in-game. People who are actually playing the game are seeing the back of their character and trying to time crazy combat.
I care about and play more 3rd party games in a Generation than Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft 1st party release roster combined. What sells consoles to me is that I have access to the largest pool of games possible. 1st party are an extra bonus.
Why my rule has Always been to invest in a Playstation fist each generation. Sony understands how to make solid gaming hardware (Wish they go into the PC VGA premium market now that EVGA is gone)
Sony proved the rule correct yet again. Year 3, and already amazing support from every studio and top IP I care about.
Looks nice. But my next handheld is a Legion GO next year.
Love my Steamdeck but really missing out not having access to GamePass on a handheld.
Regarles if this for streaming or a Steamdeck or the Ally /Legion GO for GamePass - the handheld market is simply amazing right now if you travel for work like me.
Not being stuck having to pick between awful Nintendo hardware or a 6Lb gaming laptop is a dream come true.
But more importantly - it was 1 of many great games on my list I played. Beauty of Playstation is that these 1st party are gravy on top of on an amazing 3rd party releases schedule.
It always was you could come back after missing a few DLCs and pick up where you left off (like FF14)
But last time I came back I had no idea what was happening. Past Season and expansion story content were gone.
I ended up in the middle of a season, with content I could not play even after buying the DLC. And a bunch of items in my safe from seasons I could have played but no longer available.

Re: Rise of the Ronin (PS5) - A Safe, Outdated Open World Game
On the Rental list.
Thanks for the review, it hit all the points I needed.
Re: PS Portal Is Proving Everyone's Predictions Wrong
Yeah, I broke down and got one (Had tons of Bestbuy reward points)

Re: Marvel 1943: Rise of Hydra the Official Name of Amy Hennig's Marvel Game, Out in 2025
Yeah, that is 100% on the list right now.
Re: Rumour: PS5 Pro Is Up to Three Times Faster Than PS5 as Specs Surface
Nope.
Skipped the PS3 Slim, PS4 Pro, Switch Oled... and I'll skip the PS5 Slim and Pro
Everyone gets 1 hardware purchase per generation on launch day - No mid generation refresh.
Re: Granblue Fantasy: Relink Patch Adds Microtransactions, New Quest
Love the game - you really have zero need for improvement packs to finish it. 100% optional.
If I was still playing it I would get it just to send a bit more cash their way. What I do with any game I enjoyed that has a few extra DLC items.
Re: Ghost of Tsushima's Anticipated PC Port Launches an Assault on Steam Charts
Just so it is available on PC Handhelds is reason enough for the release in my book.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 517
1. Granblue Fantasy: Relink (PS5)
2. Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (PC/Steam Deck)
Re: Xbox Games Hi-Fi Rush, Sea of Thieves, Pentiment, Grounded All Confirmed for PS5, PS4
Loved Grounded and Hi-Fi Rush. Keep them coming Microsoft.
Should release Starfield... FORZA with PSVR2 support and I will loose my mind.
Re: Shin Megami Tensei 5: Vengeance on PS5, PS4 Confirmed, Out in June 2024
Well, I bet on a PS release - looks like I won.
Stop playing on Switch because of the shimmering, jaggy mess (power cables became dashes) and enemies in the background were dancing at like 3fps.
Day 1 - happy to start over if cleaned up. The base art is fantastic.
Re: Granblue Fantasy: Relink Sells Over 1 Million Copies in a Super Busy Release Schedule
Great news. Loving my time with it.
Amazing to have hardware that can truly bring Anime games to life. The Art looks fantastic in motion.
Re: Granblue Fantasy: Relink (PS5) - Fantastic Action RPG Finally Takes to the Skies
Great review. Liked the demo.
Traveling for work so it is Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth for now. But nice to have another gem waiting for me when I get back home!
Re: The Excellent Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth Has Had a Huge Opening Weekend
Not surprised. I was hooked right from the start.
Been playing it way more than I should be during a work week... but so hard to put down.
Re: Square Enix to Absorb Subsidiary Tokyo RPG Factory and All Its Assets
I bought all 3 and never finished any of them.
These are game that could get a 2nd life if placed on PC Game Pass. Especially now that the Rog Ally and Legion GO exist.
Re: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth (PS5) - The Best Yakuza Game Ever Made
Amazing! Thanks for the review
It will be my handheld game for work travel. It is Steam Deck verified from Day 1.
This + Granblue Fantasy: Relink on PS5... and I am set. Good times.
Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 512
1. AC: Mirage (Ubi+ PC)
PS5 taking a rest until Granblue Fantasy: Relink
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown?
Not yet.
I still have my Ubi+ subscription active. Last month for Avatar and this month for AC: Mirage.
I saw it is available to subscribers. I'll give it a try before my time run outs.
Re: Hogwarts Legacy Breaks 14-Year Call of Duty, Rockstar Streak to Become USA's Best-Selling Game of 2023
Good to hear. Tons of fun and fantastic world.
Also played Marvel's Spider-Man 2, Tears of the Kingdom and Star Wars Jedi: Survivor on that list. Great to see them all got good support. Single player games not going anywhere.
Re: Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth on PS5, PS4 Is Pokémon As Well Now
At this rate, I am not going to need another game for my commute till like 2025 😅
This game is epic! Day 1.
Re: Sony Officially Confirms PS5 Has Passed the 50 Million Units Milestone
Not surprised
Amazing 3rd party support and some fantastic 1st party games sprinkles on top as a bonus.
It is always about access to games. And It has been a flood of games.
Re: Rumour: PS5 Pro Targeting September 2024, Will Have Proprietary Upscaling Tech
Yeah, I have to say AMDs FSR3 + Frame Generation in Avatar is simply brilliant.
My 3080 goes from 47fps maxed out at 4K to a solid above 60fps with it on. And still looks fantastic (one game you want to play maxed out is Avatar)
Lets see what Sony comes up with.
Re: Like a Dragon Gaiden's Controversial English Dub Is Selectable on PS5, PS4 Now
Fine with me.
Reading subtitles after a long day at work is not how i sometimes want to play a game. And Steamdeck has the same issue as Switch where some developers do not scale text for the smaller screen. Good to have the option.
Publishers should simply disregard when people complain about a feature that is "optional"
Do not use it, problem solved.
Re: Critical Darling Alan Wake 2's Sales Seem Soft, But There's More to the Story
If Digital only, I buy it on PC. I guess we do not count on any of these list.
Also... EPIC, Steam, UBI Connect, EA, Galaxy, Xbox. I have every Store launcher on my PC. Only willing to buy games on Steam is insane.
Regardless - One of the best game I have played all year. A must play in my book. Cant wait for the DLC.
I grew up going to musicals, just that one level made it a 10/10 for me
Re: Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora (PS5) - A World We Don't Want to Leave
Yeah, it is stunning in motion.
It is a great game to just get lost in after work. Last night I spent my time exploring and simple side stuff.
Playing it on Ubisoft+ that is $15, they are giving lots of value with this game.
But most excited is for FSR3 + Frame generation. It works amazing on my PC.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora?
I did Ubisoft+... I'll give it a try for $15.
Only played a bit. But liked what I saw. I am a FarCry fan, so this is made for me.
Also excited to try out FSR3 and Frame Generation. Basically the future of PC handhelds.
Re: Talking Point: Is Bungie Really the Right Developer to Aid Sony's Live-Service Push?
That will not be answered until we see what comes after Destiny 2.
D2 should have ended ages ago.

New players cant even play the story the way this nonsense is set up. I would never invest to start Destiny 2 today if I was a new player.
Time to finish and move on

Nice.

Re: Silent Hill: Ascension Was Written by 'Real People', Not AI
Tons of stuff written by "real people" is garbage also. Human or Ai... no guarantee of quality either way. Just use whatever version is better.
No need to freak out each time there is a new tool in the creative field. You use it, if it does not work - you stop using it.
Re: Sony Confirms Strategic Partnership with South Korean Publisher NCSOFT
@Flaming_Kaiser
Yeah, old NCsoft PC games actually made being in a Clan/Guild fun. Might instill L2 just to see if my character is still there
Re: Sony Confirms Strategic Partnership with South Korean Publisher NCSOFT
NCSOFT for me was Lineage 2 and Guild Wars on PC
Maybe we can get a proper Lineage 3... or the PC Remake of Lineage 2. Not really tried their mobile games.
Re: Reaction: You Really Shouldn't Be Surprised Kids Want PS5, PS4 Game Currencies for Xmas
We still got tons of amazing single player games also.
The industry is big enough so that everyone can have something - no need to "save" anyone from playing Fortnite
I can ignore an entire section of gaming and still be swimming in games on PS5/PC
Re: Zenless Zone Zero Fans Are Aggrieved by Alleged Censorship in Upcoming Gacha Game
Got a sports bra with better support
I guess if this is what you are planning to do in-game. People who are actually playing the game are seeing the back of their character and trying to time crazy combat.
Re: UK Sales Charts: Hogwarts Legacy Apparates Back to the Top Spot
Waiting months to pay $60 for a shimmering/jaggy Switch port is why I gave up and bought a Steamdeck.
Great to see SM2 holding on so well. Greta game.
Not played anything else on that top 10
Re: Video: Why Sony Will Never Make the PS Vita 2
No need.
Sony is putting their games on PC. Steamdeck, Legion GO, Alley more than meets the need.
They should support them fully and release a Remote Play app that recognizes the internal controllers.
Re: Rumour: Dragon's Dogma 2 March 2024 Release Date Leaked
And the games keep on coming... Day 1, this is amazing.
Early 2024 is like a PS5 stress test 😅
Re: Remedy Drops Official Alan Wake 2 Old Gods of Asgard Music Video, and It Rocks
This level blew me away. Finished the game - and easily my new GOTY.
Creative director Sam Lake and game director Kyle Rowley are brilliant. Can not wait for the 3 story expansions.
Re: October 2023 Circana: Spider-Man 2, PS5 Both Chart-Toppers as the Sony Streak Continues
Great hardware, amazing game library with tons of 3rd party support and Spiderman 2 as the bonus cherry on top.
Not surprising it is selling.
Re: Hardware Review: PS Portal Is the Perfect PS5 Companion (For Some)
Hopefully by the time I get a Legion GO next year Sony would have updated the PC App to recognize any controller.
I can always dream. Wasted opportunity not to support all the PC handhelds already out there.
Re: Talking Point: As PS5 Turns 3, How Are You Feeling About It?
Games, games and more games. Love it so far

Re: Talking Point: What Are You Playing This Weekend? - Issue 502
PC and Steamdeck weekend. PS5 taking well deserved break after my SM2 binge
1. PC: Alan Wake 2
2. PC (Game Pass) Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
3. PC/SteamDeck: Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn Expansion
Re: Poll: Are You Buying a PS5 'Slim'?
Nope, super happy with my launch PS5.
Never been a fan of the design so I keep it hidden behind my TV. Slim or not, cant see it anyway
All my gaming budget is going towards buying games.
Re: Poll: Are You Playing Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name?
I was going to wait but saw it was on PC GamePass. I thought we were not getting it (only console)
I'll try it out this weekend.
But Alan Wake 2 and Tales of Arise - Beyond the Dawn is all I have time for right now.
Re: PS5 'Slim' Is Now Officially for Sale in the US
Nice for people on the fence.
I never upgrade consoles mid generation. Preorder at launch and ride the full life span on that one.
And with so many games I want to play, not the time to spend money on new hardware just for size and thermal.
Re: People Are Beginning to Play Around with PS5's Remote Play Handheld
Looks nice. But my next handheld is a Legion GO next year.
Love my Steamdeck but really missing out not having access to GamePass on a handheld.

Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 Sales Swing Past Amazing 5 Million Units Milestone
Amazing. Loved the game.
But more importantly - it was 1 of many great games on my list I played. Beauty of Playstation is that these 1st party are gravy on top of on an amazing 3rd party releases schedule.
Re: Tales of Arise: Beyond the Dawn (PS5) - Solid Expansion Treads Very Familiar Territory
Nice. It is an expansion so always only expected more story content. Loved the main game.
I have a work trip next week, so I guess I just found my SteamDeck game.
Re: Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name (PS5) - 'Smaller' Yakuza Game Is Still a Damn Good Time
Great review, thanks
After I am done with Alan Wake 2 it is either this or Avatar.
Re: Upcoming PS5 Games for November and December 2023
Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name
Persona 5 Tactica
Avatar Frontier
But Playing Tactica on PC GamePass and Avatar on PC UBI+... need to save some cash.
Re: Interest in Destiny 2 Reportedly at an All-Time Low
Not surprised
It always was you could come back after missing a few DLCs and pick up where you left off (like FF14)

They need a hard reset.
Re: UK Sales Charts: Spider-Man and Mario Trade Places in Battle for Top Spot
Just finished the Story content in SM2 over the weekend. Fantastic game.
Even the art in the credits are amazing. Its like they took every chance to show off their talent.
Re: Sony's New PS5 Earbuds and Headset Get Release Dates, Pre-Order Details
I would look at the earbuds if in the market for one. That said, non of mine have ever cost me more than $50.
