I am so happy with this. Loved it but got stuck because I'm crap and was really hoping they would do this and open this great game up to thousands of others.

@SuntannedDuck2 excellent post mate and shows perfectly how we all line to play different games in different ways.
No one should have a go at anyone else for what they like. To me that's insane.

If someone says a certain game is the best they've ever played, well to them it is, so how can you comment??

I agree with you. I absolutely hate anything turn based. People told me to try it and that it was different. No it wasn't. It was more turn based rubbish.

Just my opinion of course and i am honestly delighted that a new IP did so well and that so many gamers had a great time with it. The different genres in our world are what makes it so great.

Edit: i just checked and i played it for 3hrs 24 minutes and got a 60 gamerscore. Can't believe i played for that long!!

@Voltan same here. I'm just too old and slow for these games. Really wish they'd put easier difficulties as an option, but that conversation has been done a million times before!!!!!

It'll be when it'll be. I'm not that bothered as i have so much to play.

The really good thing about it though is that the memes about this are comedy gold

Looks great, but (and this relates to the 50 minute clip) please stop it with the trees and bushes shaking in a non existent wind, it ruins the immersion for me totally. Nit picking i know!!!

I have never played a From Software game for exactly this reason. Yes, I'm 55 now, so that doesn't help but I love watching streams of these games and would love to play, but they're just too hard.
I also get the fact that that it's what makes them what they are.
I'd love them to experiment with just one of their games and put an easier mode in just to see what kind of feedback/sales it garners, but as I previously said I get that that defeats the object of this franchise.

I'm the same as you- would love to give one of these a try but never really followed it before and this does look superb.

I normally give JRPGs a miss because I really don't like turn based combat, but this looks like it might be as good a place as any to break my duck - unless any one else can recommend one?

I really enjoyed it. The reason why? I'm not a tool. When the state of play was announced I didn't expect a dozen AAA exclusives and if we didn't get that I'd mess my pants and immediately go on line and trash everything Sony.
I watched with no thoughts as to what might be and just enjoyed what was shown. We all know there's other stuff to come and will be revealed at other times .
It's just the ludicrous 'we demand 27 AAA games' crowd that are just embarrassing

@Ashina thank you for the info, and no, i don't think it is a 'bad' name but given the world and the lore and the fantasy, using an old not very popular English name just didn't seem right to me. Sort of took me out of the world if that makes sense every time i heard it.

I have never played a FF game before but the demo was just incredible so preordered and can't wait.
The only thing i don't understand is the name 'Clive' lol.
For you FF veterans, do the other entries in the franchise have the same kind of names?

I am in awe of this series. It is IMO sensational television and episode 7 really does deliver again. Ramsey is superb and I am so so happy that a game that i love is being followed up by quality TV

The Talos Principle was my favourite until i played Supraland. What a fabulous game that is, all built by one man! It's an astonishing achievement.

Well I bit at the 50% off and I thought this morning 'I'll just have a little look' and I've just turned it off after 5 hours!
Faultless so far and I am really loving it. Couple of minor niggles, but that is just my own preferences, but for a tenner, you really cannot go wrong IMO.

Just the bog standard one for me. No interest at all in any of the older games as I've already played all the ones i wanted to.
Why would i want another 740 really older games, some over 20 years old, when i can't even play all i have now.
So am i right that with Premium, there will be NO brand new games added like there are with GPU?

This looks great and i have just wishlisted it. So many games, so little time, i need to retire!

Only played for an hour or so and its my first look having never played it before. Looks very nice and can see me buying it and adding to back log.
One question if i can, i take it you ditch the first bloke and can go off on your own all over the place soon?

I don't know what has changed this gen but some of the decisions that Sony have made are just mind blowing. I love my PS and my XBX but everything MS have done this year has been positive, exciting and great for the consumer. Sony however, IMO have just had a nightmare. Add this to that pile

So basically, if you read the whole thread above, it proves that trophies are just about perfect the way they are. Those that go chasing them have great fun when they get the elusive plat, and for those that aren't bothered, then it makes no difference to their gaming experience.

Perhaps the only couple of changes looking at the thread, is some kind of avatar/theme gift for a platinum (surely easy to implement) and less grindy type trophies.

I'm about half way through and I love it. It looks beautiful and is a great chill out game with real meaning.
