@knight_spg that's just how their sub works.
"Subscribing to Ubisoft+ allows you to access our growing and regularly updated catalogue of new releases, beloved franchises and classic Ubisoft titles.

Subscribe to the PC Access plan to play on Ubisoft Connect PC only, or to our Multi Access plan to play on multiple platforms."
Check their website for more details, it's why their sub is so expensive

@UltimateOtaku91 well I mean back when Hogwarts Legacy was getting promoted some folks actually thought it wouldn't release on xbox at all to then prompt those 'is hogwarts releasing on x platform' type articles. And that was just promo rights
So I suppose there is substantial value to be found in embargoes.
I still think they're stupid though

@Ravix
I had to look it up because it's been a while for me as well but the in-game tv show Night Springs does appear in Quantum Break, also does in AW and is mentioned in Control. Apparently Alan Wake himself wrote the episodes for the show in-universe and the FBC acquired the rights to the show.
There definitely is more than a subtle connection between all of the games.
Between in-game collectible notes, recurring character (names), powers and I think organizations as well (FBC and maybe more).
Apparently most of it is 'explained' in Control's AWE DLC but I haven't played any of Control's DLCs.
I don't think they'll gloss over anything that's happened in Quantum Break.
I'm glad it's releasing on ps day one, hope it will fuel more sales and Remedy gets to build this universe even more.
It's why I was initially glad they secured Epic funding because I think they're masters at crafting this shared universe between games together with fromsoft.
And I'm not even necessarily that hyped to play the game, I just want to know more about what's happening in the universe.

@Amnesiac fighting game renaissance?
Granted I don't dig the genre but I see gamers badmouth fighter games as much as any others, for its lack of basic features or even for paying for those (Can't find it but sth about paying for rollback netcode were headlines a few years back).
In what are supposed to be staple franchises.
From the sfv in game ads during gameplay to tekken 7 being stuck at 720p (on xbox) it certainly doesn't seem like it to me.
But then again I don't play any so please enlighten me.
