All about actual games and Sony have some bangers releasing very very soon. The Xbots and Nintendo crowd can be just as bad, don't dare think otherwise.

It's strange as I'm a big AC fan and thought Origins was alright, playable and really enjoyed Odyssey but really struggled with Valhalla. I'll give it a try another time perhaps.

Finished Kena, can't get into AC Valhalla despite my best efforts, been collecting some trophies in Astro's Playroom.

Have some games sitting in my backlog (GotG, Judgement, Demon's Souls) but reluctant to start any of these what with Forbidden West on the horizon (😉), so have downloaded something completely different.

If it's a new IP, rather than some sci-fi game, I'd like to see a Noir thriller maybe set in 1950's New York or Chicago. Probably not L.A. though, that's been done.

@Rural-Bandit Time will tell. 10 Live Service games in development, all to be released within the next 3-4 years, feels like overkill imo.

It really does seem that PS are working really hard on trying to push the idea that Live Service games are great and the focus on these WON'T impact upon the SP games.

Personally it looks to me as if it will, maybe not in the short-term but definitely further down the road.

I like stories. They have a beginning, a middle and an end. Games are as much a viable storytelling medium as films or TV or literature. It seems some people in the industry don't like stories, they prefer MTXs and Season Passes and all that bollocks!

@Stragen8 I know it's all down to personal preferences but Xbox don't produce big AAA SP games that aren't full of MTXs.

Even the much hyped Halo has a really sort campaign, with the MP providing the bulk of the content.

In reality, you get what you pay for and the £70/$70/€70 for this game is more than worth it imo.

At one point MS will increase the price of GP, above the rate of inflation. Maybe it won't appear to be the 'bargain' that it currently does

Really they should offer something extra to the PS5 version, like a special skin or weapon or something that PS4 players wouldn't be so upset about.

I'm not against Sony investing in more online MP games, just hope these don't detract from what they've become the best at: big budget SP games.

Their main IP are kid games or have cartoon graphics. Nothing wrong with that per se, (I've just finished Kena and really enjoyed Ratchet and Clank Rift Apart) BUT I prefer more adult games in general. If I'd didn't, well I would've bought a Switch!

I was offered one for free once but turned it down. Only game I'd play on it was BotW and that's not enough.

Congrats to Nintendo but it's not for me, don't like kids games.

As long as the MP titles are made in addition to the SP AAA games that I love and Sony do so well, then I don't have a problem with this news. I mean I won't play them but I'm not bothered if they exist!

If people are bored with their third person games, that's their problem. I'm certainly not, it's why I game in the first place. Nothing wrong with a bit of variety though.

@Rural-Bandit Bungie games won't be exclusive to Sony. People can question whether the value of the purchase of they're not, but that's what is being said.

You'll still get to play their games on an Xbox, I won't be able to play TES 6 on PS though.

One day I'll probably have no choice but to invest and Xbox or GP subscription service but we're not there yet.
