I really hope this gets sorted, one of the few games announced that I'm proper excited for but I still think it's not gonna happen

Gonna finish off resi 4 remake on ps5 and then a bit of retro. Currently going through the jaguar catalogue which was the first console I bought at launch with my own money. AVP is still a great game 😀

Honestly don't see why some people care so much. Just buy a (an?) Xbox. Your not betraying sony and you'll have more options. While your there pick up a switch, it really is as easy as that. Before anyone jumps in about money I understand that it's not always that easy but gaming's not a cheap hobby so if you can afford to buy new games for your ps5 you could save enough for another console in no time...

Only seems to be the diehard sony fans that have an issue with this. Have a look on nintendo life and pure xbox and there's a real synergy between the 2 sets of fans, particularly on nintendo life, with the majority seeing having both consoles as the ideal setup. Very few seem to feel that way about playstation though...

I'm pretty happy. I enjoyed the saints row games and actually liked agent's of mayhem but the art style of the new one is awful so didn't bother but can now for 'free'. They're the ones I like most from this, aa games I passed on. Really want evil west on there soon

Mrs is at her parents and I'm all about lightgun games again this weekend. Just been playing point blank and gonna start house of the dead soon. Beer, peace and lightguns...pure bliss 😀

Why is it so difficult though? There's great ps2 emulators out there already so surely they could just modify one to run on ps5..

Series s is a great wee machine, picked one up as a gamepass box for a couple hundred quid and have no complaints 👍

£7.99's a bit steep for these, buy a ps classic and stick hundreds of them on there for 'free' 😃

@WaveBoy have to agree with everything you said to be fair. Played moss2 on quest and the original on psvr and you're right, they're amazing. Most fun I've had is probably resi4 on quest, fantastic experience and I'm sure village is every bit as good. I was immediately put off psvr2 because of the cable which seems like a big step back coming from wireless. Sports games in general but definitely boxing and golf games are infinitely better without the tether. Action games too like walking dead, which is great btw, allows for lot more freedom when your flailing around grabbing weapons from behide your back etc. Need to see a lot more commitment from Sony too, following the launch its been slim pickings bar upgrades of older games and there's not a hell of a lot announced bar resi 4 remake. Doesn't feel like it'll ever be a huge focus for them

@WaveBoy I'm a fan of vr in general and own the psvr1 & quest 2 and I'll likely buy a quest 3 but something doesn't feel right about the psvr2. Great library if your new to vr but if not its piss poor. Absolutely on village though, resi 7 & resi 4 on quest are probably my favourite vr games. Have tried gt & horizon on psvr2 and gt is v good, wasn't impressed with horizon at all

Not a fan of this. Ps4 pro made sense with 4k tvs becoming standard but this feels like a cash grab. Put the resource into an incredible ps6 and release it late 25, early 26

Not a huge fan of Rick and morty but really liked this game, played to the end and laughed out loud a few times. Really good 👍

@Muttt they've had years to play them though, the vast majority of games at launch were just re-releases. Not a problem if your new to vr but if you've been playing for a while there's not much new there

@OmniHawk you don't need a Facebook account anymore bud. That's what put me off the quest 2 but I eventually gave in and created the most basic account possible but they stopped that last year 👍

Finally next gen vr gets interesting. The cable was enough for me to dismiss psvr2 so looking forward to this 👍

@NeonPizza yeah and your probably right resi 8 is a big draw for me too but haven't tried it yet. I really enjoy vr and was day 1 on the first psvr which blew my mind ( my only prior experience of vr was in the mid 90s at the ideal home exhibition) and then I got the quest 2 as a gift a couple of years ago and it felt like a huge upgrade. Graphics on par if not a little worse but the controllers and being able to freely move around was game changing. With friends round its so much more fun to use the q2 for something like pistol whip and watch them rolling around on the floor to avoid the walls/bullets. I've been critical of the psvr2 before the launch due to the wire but playing it I know I could enjoy sitted games very much but there are other issues that I don't think are talked about as much. The overall resolution definitely doesn't feel like 4k and the 'sweet spot' that people mention is true.

Tried psvr2 at the start of the week and.... the jury's still out. Gt7 was very good but horizon was awful, more of a tech demo and the blurriness was bad. Missus wants to get it for my birthday but really want to see the quest 3 before I commit

It was £8 and sold a few more, sweet... Still a ***** follow up to one of the best games of a generation

Hard not to see them as competitors when the majority of psvr2 launch titles are slightly updated versions of q2 games. I'll pick up both but 'untethered' is a big plus for me

Not a chance. The crew games are alright but both types of forza games are by far the best driving games out there. Love to be proven wrong though...
