@wiiware AC have nameless protags? I guess Ezio, Edward, Bayek, Kassandra, Connor, Basim and many many more don't count then? You even played AC before? Do you even know what AC is? Yasuke isn't even the first black AC protag.

@Gunnerzaurus AC Shadows topped pre-orders over in Japan and Japanese people generally have been defending Yasuke's inclusion, in fact they love Yasuke hence why he's in so much anime and features in a decent amount of Japanese games as a samurai.

I will be blunt anyone hating on Yasuke is just doing it because racism. By all accounts he was very very likely a samurai, the slightest bit of reserch will tell you this. If William was fine for Nioh (where Yasuke is a boss and is a samurai) then Yasuke is fine for AC Shadows. Ubi were never going to remove him.

There's no way in hell a portable PS6 would be at a level needed to run PS6 games. Even "portible" PC's have limitations on the games they can and can't run and even most powerful "portable" PC is still far weaker then current gen consoles.

@nessisonett I'm buying a Pro and i would never support a Kickstater and i sure as hell would never support The Days Before devs. End of the day i'm in my 30's and i'm at a point in life if i want something i can buy it within reason, i find this mindset is much more healthy then moaning when strangers online buy something you don't like.

Many are suspecting these "backers" are the devs themselves to sell the illusion.

Its really strange especially when MS allowed characters like Spyro to be included.

@Deoxyr1bose Rough? What's been rough about the MK1 DLC characters? Wanna know what's rough? £100+ to give every character a new costume in SF6 or £100 for all of the TMT stuff. MK1 isn't perfect but monetization wise SF6 is easily the worst of the big 3.

@nomither6 MK1 Roster > MK9 Roster. MK9 roster is good but it relies too heavily on MK1-MK3 and you can't even fully play as Shao or Goro. MK1 roster celebrates the entire series not just the 90's games.

@Totheteeth Its actually £40. Its £50 for the entire game and all the DLC.

I mean Towers of Time has been added, Invasions is actually pretty fine now as most of it is optional now and Cage is pretty funny.

As for the skins they're pretty cheap by modern standards and you get more for less compared to what SF6 charges for its skins. Anyway the game has giving out plenty of free skins this past year and still is so 🤷‍♂️

Visually it is a big improvement, at $10 or whatever it is in £ i'm happy to buy it.

They act like they aren't sexist yet get like this everytime with a female lead unless the woman looks like a fake anime doll like Eve. Kinda funny really because Jin was surrounded by powerful women and only got where he headed because of them.

Overall these loses have really exposed themselves with this one. Also they're harassing and attacking the voice actress because she's genderfluid and heavily supports the LGBTQ+ comminity.

@Mikey856 Nintendo has the strongest IP line up. There's a big reason Smash was just largely Nintendo based with some guests until Ultimate happened.

@EYEBALL Palworld is an ant compared to Pokemon so no this has nothing to do with it impacting Pokemon as it doesn't. As for "rinse and repeat" yeah that's objectively false considering Legends and S&V were massive shake ups for the series.

This is interesting as this implies the patents only effect Japan and not the rest of the world.

It seems its not being released in Japan on PS5 for the time being.

@Savage_Joe If the Devs knowingly broke a patent they kinda have it coming. Sucks sure maybe but Nintendo are well within their right to do this. The issue isn't Nintendo here its more that gameplay ideas can be patented that's the issue.

Very good i thought. Obviously the big mic drop at the end was the clear highlight but Palworld being shadow dropped was nice, the Horizon remaster being a $10 is something i'm ok with and freaking Dino Crisis 😁😁😁 Monster Hunter looks fantastic as well and the dream collab with SB is finally happening 😍😍😍 Yeah i'm happy with the show.

@Ainu20 Sony gave us one of the best games this Gen this year along Stellar Blade, Ronin and Helldivers 2. Yeah i wish for more bigger 1st party games and Concord was a disaster but out of PS5, Switch and Xbox the PS5 has easily had the best year of the 3.

Now this is a remaster i want. Aspyr is a coin flip though, they done a great job with Tomb Raider but completely screwed up with Battlefront (still broken to this day).

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare I never thought off a Starfield port reveal but that would make some sense as its clearly happening and MS are trying to avoid revealing PS ports in their own shows.

@PeakUnagi and the free expansion reveal for Ragnarok gained a ton of goodwill something i could see Sony wanting to get again especially with the mixed year they have had.

My hope is we get the Carnage DLC with them scrapping the other two DLC to put all the focus on Carnage. Make it i dunno 10-12 hours long, add a new section to the map, add some new bosses, add some new abilities, add 20ish new suits split between Peter and Miles and set up Eddie as Venom for his game with maybe even a limited section where we play as Venom again. I would happily pay £20-£30 for that.

@PeakUnagi I'm wondering if Sony will do a Game Awards GoW Ragnarok style free DLC reveal for Spidey 2 instead. According to the leaks we were meant to get a year of free DLC what consisted of free costume drops and 3 expansions what included Carnage and Spider-Verse. Other then costume drops we never got that for some reason so i'm wondering if they either bundled it all together for one big expansion or cut two of the expansions to focus on a bigger Carnage DLC that i guess will set up a Venom game. Hopefully we will get something though even if its paid.

@IntrepidWombat Wasn't Village revealed at a SoP? If RE9 is due next year it could be revealed tomorrow.

Last SoP gave us Astro Bot a game i showed little care for and was vocal about it and its ended up being one of my favourite games this Gen so who knows what to expect tomorrow anything could be annoused.

@Oram77 Not really as most AAA games are current gen only now and most run at poor res and struggle with 60fps.

9/10 from me its fantastic.

I have zero issues with remasters/remakes and hell i've got Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster on pause as i type this however i do take issue with remakes and remasters of games that don't need them especially with a full price tag. Darksiders 2 is getting a PS5 version next month with RT and 60fps included and its free for all owners of the PS4 version, Sony don't do that its either full price or if you're lucky a $10 upgrade for existing owners.

Sony should focus on games like Bloodborne, God of War 1/2 and Infamous 1/2 in my opinion. Demons Souls was great and much needed but Horizon and The Last of Us Part 1? Hell no.

@get2sammyb Honestly visually it still beats a lot of current gen only games.
