@tselliot "western hemisphere" yeah i bet you prefer the "eastern hemisphere" with the mountains of gacha games they love over there. Stellar Blade and Black Myth are the exceptions not the norm to those countries.

@Sequel That "honing in" was an illusion created by crossgen games and games not pushing anything. You mention Astro Bot but it was a simple tech demo and Demons Souls was a PS3 remake. When you start looking at true current gen games you can see that the 4K/60fps dream was just a dream. 4K is expensive maybe more then RT and its why Devs would rather upscale or rely on 1440p and like it or not better visuals with pretty effects are way more appealing to the average person then a 4K/60fps game that a trailer on YT viewed on a phone can't really advertise. I get where you're at and crossgen games spoilt us but once actual current gen only games arrived the reality sadly started to set in.

@RubyCarbuncle Exactly. I don't PC game but a cousin of mine does and while i can't remember his specs i know he chases 1440p over 4K so he can have better framerates and maybe allow some of the better graphical features depending on the game.

I think people expected way too much out of this Gen and never grasped why crossgen games were able to look so good and be 60fps at the same time.

@Sequel 4090's can struggle with 4K/60fps so why do console players think that was ever going to be a reality this Gen? It won't even be a reality on the PS6.

@dskatter and that would matter if i directly called you out specifically on it. An exception to the norm is just that an exception. The average Ubi game hater can't even name the last 3 Ubi games released yet alone form a valid opinion on them.

@cburg I have a Series S and no its not crap but its very under-powered and its clearly impacting gaming. The Kingdom Come devs even stated they had to limit the scope of the game because of the SS. Avowed a MS game is implied to be struggling on SS hence the delay. The SS while a neat console for BC and the earlier games of this Gen was a bad idea and its becoming clear Devs would rather just avoid it.

@get2sammyb It will be very weird if true considering Sony have done zero marketing for it. Would Sony really allow zero PS5 footage being put out prior to launch outside of a 2 min clip from IGN China? Sounds like a strange deal.

@Loamy I'm on Quality Mode as i don't have a 120hz screen and yeah it looks great, not quite Avatar level (not much is) but its near. Really the only downside visually is the image quality but that sadly seems to be the norm now from FF7 Rebirth to Black Myth and now Outlaws.

@AdamNovice I actually like Paul but yeah he's better for opinions on games rather then console stuff as his bias is pretty clear.

Reading the comments here and i can't help but laugh. Two things common with Ubi game haters is they haven't actually played/enjoyed a Ubi game since Black Flag and they constantly need validation in hating the games Ubi makes.

Yeah Sony signed a secret agreement and made sure no PS5 footage was shown prior to launch except one small clip from IGN China because that's how Sony do things 🙄🙄🙄

"Grainy visuals" Yeah that's why i turned off film grain in the options menu 🙄 I agree image quality isn't good but the visuals are actually pretty great as DF proved in their video.

I've been really enjoying it myself. Its very much a Ubi game but SW so if like Ubi games like myself you will enjoy this.

@Loamy No what i'm saying is when i downloaded the game on the 25th the update was already included with the download so digital versions shouldn't be impacted as from the off the update was there.

This seems to be a disc thing as my pre-download what i downloaded on the 25th was already with the latest patch and i've had zero issues with this bug so if you went digital you're fine.

My main concern now is performance. I can play MH at 30fps because well World/Rise on PS5 aside that's how i've played the series but if it performs like DD2 then its not good.

It can't be saved and its going to be dead pretty soon. There's too much coming out and Marvel Rivals is coming soon so Concord stands no chance.

8/10 based on what i've played. Combat and boss battles are incredible but the world is pretty generic and lifeless and the technical side ain't great.

@zimbogamer He's fantastic in Cyberpunk easily one of his best performances so i'm sure he will be great as Shadow.

Looks fantastic and Shadow looks and sounds perfect.

Of course Goku would be one of the first mods for the game 😂

Just beat the Tiger boss and damn he was tough easily the toughest so far from what i've played but really cool fight though and his design was excellent.

LoP is one of the best Soulslike ever made and even challenges From's work in my opinion so i'm very excited for the next one especially with the tease of a certain character i won't spoil in the true ending.

@riceNpea The Force Unleashed is just God of War, Jedi Survivor is just a Soulslike, Battlefront is just another shooter etc. SW has always done its own take on other games and even the concept of KOTOR wasn't something it invented. 1313 the game everybody wished happened was basically just Uncharted.

@PloverNutter We were also meant to get a year of free Spider-Man 2 DLC this year and that never happened so who knows what's going on with them.

Its in the 70's last time i checked on MC. Basically if you like Ubi games and Star Wars you will enjoy Outlaws based on what i read. Avatar got the same type of reviews and i loved it and easily rank it as one of my favourite open world games this gen so i'm fine with 7/10's its what i expected anyway.

@tameshiyaku Bloober get criticism because they have yet to make a good game and show a complete lack of understanding for horror and mental health. Giving them SH2 certainly was a choice by Konami.

78% on MC so far for PS5 and that's fine by me. Got the Gold version pre-ordered and just waiting until midnight to finally play it

I would feel sorry for the Devs but nah this was mostly on them, they were the ones jumping on the already full live service hero shooter train long before Sony got involved. No sympathy from me for either the Devs or Sony.

The store rating on PSN is really low as well. Might be the biggest flop this year.

Irony is it will sell far more on PS5.
