@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare The point people are quick to act shocked and sad over news like this but are also the same people who will proudly boast about waiting for a sale or Plus forgetting that reasons like that are why it never sold in the first place. Sure if you can't afford it at launch that's ok but a lot of the time that's not the reason its just cheapness.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare It was a £50 game and got great reviews there was little reason not to buy it at launch. End of the day people will say "i will wait for a sale" or "wait for Plus" and then act shocked when the game doesn't sell and the sequel is cancelled.

Well that sucks as The Lost Crown is one of the best games this year and one hell of a metroidvania. See this is what happens when you "wait for a sale" or won't buy for whatever dumb reason.

@GreatAuk There is a 60fps and it runs and looks better then the base PS5 version. There's no way RT was going to appear in a 60fps mode especially with how demanding AW2 is.

Glad i held off NG+ for the Pro.

Keith David is the ideal choice in my opinion to replace him.

Had the digital deluxe pre-ordered so i shell be playing tomorrow. Shadow is the real draw here so i'm glad his campaign is the highlight.

@Vaako007 The game is still pretty rough on PS5 with many visual problems and performance issues so i will be shocked if it runs well and looks good on Series S.

Also they don't know how it works as this is the first console game they have made and it shows giving the many WTF choices they made for the PS5 version. Even DF were very puzzled with the choices made and none of the issues raised have been fixed.

Unless its a fighting game people generally hate nerfs especially in PvE so i don't understand why every Dev runs into this issue. Unless something is straight up broken good just leave it be and buff enemies and other weapons instead.

The idea of Spider-Man being anyone and being more then just Peter Parker is a reason Stan Lee gave him a mask.

@OldGamer999 Your TV isn't making Rebirth look better, that upscale tech your TV has doesn't really impact games that much because stuff like that only works when the consoles actually support it. DF use the best tech they can get and if they knew there's a TV that can get a 4K image from Rebirth we would know about it. Honestly features like this are a con to jack up the price of the TV's.

@QiaraIris Peter hasn't quit he's taking a break and considering who the big bads of the 3rd game are its clear Peter will be back as Spidey in the 3rd game.

@naruball Bioshock Infinite got the same type of acclaim but most agree now the game was never as good as people tried to make it out to be. Spidey 2 got GOTY nods but even at the time most laughed at the idea that it could be considered.

Its a very good 8/10 game but pretty underwhelming at times with a short rushed story, poor stealth and a feeling of the game being incomplete. It does a lot right mind you as visually its incredible, the bigger city is fantastic, tons of suits and great set pieces but despite all that it lacks what made the first game so special.

Yeah can't say i care about the lack of disc drive as i'm 100% digital.

@fabio78 Did you read them? The last update the game got was fixing something the previous update broke. Fact is the buggy launch was well documented and even on here around the launch people were commenting on it. Compared to R&C and the previous two Spidey games its technical state was a step down, the NG+ update even left in the console command screen by mistake what if used could brick your save.

@AdamNovice Just because one game was more broken doesn't mean SM2 wasn't broken.

@IOI Venom was always going to be his own game. The character is really popular so it makes sense to give him his own game instead of making him DLC. From what we know the Carnage DLC was going to basically be a prologue to the game with it having Eddie become Venom and set the stage for Carnage being the big bad of his game. Actual Venom DLC where we play as Venom was never on the cards, they most likely decided very early on that they would do a Venom spin off especially with his movies doing really well around that time.

@IOI The leaks already told us what the 3 expansions were and they weren't Venom but the Carnage one was setting up the Venom game. So yeah think what you want but the leaks already told us what the plan was originally.

@Bez87 Yeah flawless launch that's why they were constantly patching bugs post launch then, in fact the last update the game got was a fix for something the last update prior had broken.

Well there it is an underwhelming end to an underwhelming sequel. Considering how broken the game was at launch and how every patch would break something i'm honestly concerned on where they're at. Is Venom happening? Is Wolverine going to be a mess? Will Wolverine come out before next gen? Who knows.

@nessisonett According to the leaks we were getting a whole year of DLC including 3 expansions and frequent suit drops.

Yeah i've been playing around with it. My favourite feature is it shows you your storage space as well as giving you quick access to it, real QoL feature for me that is.

Yeah this is pretty much a full PS5 remake and at £10 i can't complain.

@Loamy ⁸ Yeah the RT is too good to drop hence why i'm sticking with graphics mode.

I've got it set for graphics and the 30 is holding better then ever. I will give Capcom credit and say they really have improved performance but it has taking nearly a year to it what isn't good at all.

@LowDefAl Let's be honest if Ubi adapted Adams as well instead of Yasuke then i expect the backlash wouldn't be anywhere near as big. Anyway we still have a Japanese playable character and she's literally the Assassin of the two.

@LavenderShroud The game is complete there's zero chance its being cancelled. Anyway most of the controversy is just racists exposing themselves over Yasuke something the vast majority including Japan don't care about.

@nessisonett Alan Wake 2, Spidey 2, Avatar, Baldur's Gate 3, GTA 6 (we all know it will) and more all push these so called "boundaries". Like let's be honest what exactly are you expecting to be pushed? People expected way too much out of this gen.

Yeah games like R&C and The Last of Us were never going to look that much better as they already looked near perfect. Its Rebirth, Hogwarts, Dragons Dogma 2, hopefully Black Myth and such that shell see the biggest improvements.

Its only getting higher if you allow want it too. You don't have to pay extra you can just wait and have some patience.

@PuppetMaster Also the actors are all late 30's/early 40's now. Obviously these films always cast older actors as teens but they tend to draw the line at casting a 40 something as an 18 year old.

The whole point of the game is its paying homage to 80's slasher "Cabin in the Woods" type films and does it with a very self aware feel. A film version of the story though is just going to be another generic slasher film devoid of the very thing that made the game stand out and have fun with the idea.

One hell of a month for games and you even have the Diablo 4 expansion that i'm trying to juggle in with it all.

Yeah i'm most likely making this my "launch game" for the Pro next month.

Got the "early access" version last month, its a fun game though you can feel the MMO origins. At its a price though i would say its worth a shot.

Would happily try this but not at full price.

Would be awesome if they upgraded all the original PS2 games to the new emulator.

The hype was real. Was basically playing this all weekend.

What i love about this game is characters are not equal or balanced meaning if they're weak in the anime then they're weak in the game, that means if you're good enough you can create some crazy underdog moments.
