I've been playing Trails in the Sky on VITA, pretty good JRPG so far, I'm 10 hours into that. I'll be picking up Driveclub and its season pass tomorrow from the Easter sale so I'll be giving that a run. I'm also finally getting the Old Hunters dlc for Bloodborne, can't wait to get stuck into that, and Salt and Sanctuary which I've been looking forward too for ages. Pretty excited about my Sunday gaming! I'll probably jump into Bloodborne tonight to freshen up in preparation for the dlc
@sub12 I've already beaten the game and all the side quests before trading it in last year. Basically I want the GOTY edition for the expansions and maybe a second play through (but not a 100% play through)
Think I might finally pick up Driveclub+the season pass for €10, screams a bargain, also thinking of getting the Bloodborne DLC, Trails in the Sky SC and maybe Salt and Sanctuary
@BrettAwesome I'm slowly trying to turn my gf into a gamer, she loves stuff like Resogun and racing games, just need to get her on co-op shooters and rpgs and I'll marry her
@SkanetWasTaken Really hoping Stardew Valley makes its way to console and particularly Vita in the future, sounds great from what people are saying. I'm jumping back into Fallout 4, hoping to finish off the three faction questlines and a few misc quests then trading it in for the Division I'm also playing Trails in the Sky on VITA which has been pretty good so far, I'm about 6 hours in
I'll be playing more SMITE which I'm really liking, more Fifa 15 (first Fifa game I've bought for a while, looking to find out what all the fuss is about with Pro Clubs) and perhaps a dashing of Rocket League
Delighted this has started up, really looking forward to it, I'll be giving it a listen on my drive to college. Great that ye put the podcast on Player FM too, sometimes that app tends to get ignored
@finalstan I found Uncharted 1 to be really good too, thought the story was great, but you've got to remember we played the remastered version which ironed out a lot of the problems with the first and brought it up to the level of the other two, something which was very different on the ps3 versions from what I hear. Great game though
@gingerfrog did not go well! I'm escaping the cruel fact our 6 nations is over by flying about in Gravity Rush, it really helps!
I've finally beat Final Fantasy IX today (the first FF I've beaten!) so after I watch Ireland beat England in the rugby might start playing Gravity Rush on VITA and some Stealth Inc.
Love my Vita it's got such an awesome library for me personally. So many cool Indies that fit perfectly on it, it's an Final Fantasy machine, a JRPG dream machine, it allows me to go back and play plenty of great ps one and ps2 games that I missed (ps2 games through the hd collections). I just love it, my backlog on that system is long and still holding out for Xcom and Civ 2 to come out hopefully plus they'll still be a few cool Indies for it this year too
I finished Danganronpa 2 last night and I'm away from home so it's more Vita action for me. I'll play through some more FF IX and I think I'll start Gravity Rush as well. Might lay through some Nihilumbra also
@themcnoisy Has fallout grown anymore on you? I found it got better after the first 30 hours, I'm nearing the end of it now I think and it picks up after a very very slow start, there's some interesting quests latter in in the game I found
I've been waiting for a good MOBA to come to PS4, I honestly think some MOBAs would feel right at home on console, and going by how popular this is on XboxOne I'm guessing this works well. Hurrah for MOBAs!
Got back into Fallout 4 after taking a break from it so plenty of that. I have one more mission to complete to finish the Dishonored campaign so I might get that done and I'm very near the end of Danganronpa 2 so might try to finish that off too
@Badboy-Dj Would love that but I doubt it, future tech seems to be in hot demand still but a WWI or II shooter be great. Check out Battalion 1944 for a WWII shooter that's supposed to come to ps4, it's a kickstarter but it's been funded so here's hoping
Really disappointed with this I'm not particularly drawn to the "Walking-Simulator" games but this looked really cool, seemed to have a cool mystery story to it and I really like the whole "walkie-talkie" dialogue. Guess I'll wait til it gets a price drop, I'll pick it up when it's under a tenner
@k_andersen @get2sammyb Both the write up and the comment made me laugh to be honest! This weekend I'll be finishing up Danganronpa 2 on VITA (v good but I prefered the first one), playing some Helldivers with @themcnoisy and @kyleforrester87 and who ever else might join in, also need to get back playing Dishonored: DE, liking it a lot I have to say
@thiz Welcome! Join in the discussions whenever you can, makes the site far more enjoyable as the community here is really nice, there's no insulting or flaming going on here
In regards to the article is this basically Pokemon for Playstation? That's no bad thing by the way....
@dryrain Maybe just close your eyes and pick at random? Seems a bit of a waste if you don't vote at all, maybe pick one that you'd try for 5 mins even. It might be worth voting just for the sake of the community to, by that I mean Sony is probably monitoring how many people vote to determine if it's a popular feature and if the should keep doing it, if low numbers are voting they might scrap the idea and you'll lose the chance to vote on a game you would like. In summary it's better to keep voting just to support the feature for the time when you will want a game you can vote for just my opinion at least
Started playing through Dishonored:DE, enjoying it so far, only as far as the second mission but I'm really digging it. I'll also get some Chivalry and Rocket League with a dose of Final Fantasy IX on the Vita in too
@Quintumply @get2sammyb Thanks for that, ya all that makes sense, I understand the review policy and were it's coming from, actually sounds like a really solid review policy. And I get that those gripes would detract from the game certainly Was just curious is all
@Quintumply Lovely review, nice job on avoiding spoiling parts of the game too as that seemingly is a struggle many writers are having. In fact this is possiblely the best review I've seen so far. I have to ask though, where did it lose the 1 mark from giving it a 10/10? Not disagreeing with it, just interested to know
@stocko I've no idea what that means but sounds good! Yay when the games are available to download I'll get the Helldivers thread in the forums up again and we might be able to cobble a team together
Lovely stuff, played about 2 hours of the second game on VITA, liked it a lot but haven't got back to it yet. Nice to know I'll be able to play the 1st game when I finish the 2nd
Away from home this weekend so it's all Vita action for me along with watching Downton Abbey (fantastic) and the NFL playoffs. I'll try to finish Sly 1 and get that platinum (handy enough) plus I'll be playing bits of Castlestorm and Nihilumbra from PS Plus and also Sid Meiers: Pirates To all American readers on the East coast, stay safe in those rough conditions
I voted Bloodborne but Witcher 3 could have got my vote too. As for this list, it's a pretty exciting one for anyone who hasn't picked up a ps4 yet, so many great games to play!
Was hoping Push was going to do a review of this, it has me really interested. Heard nothing but praise for this when it released on PC last year and was really excited to hear it was coming to PS4. Delighted to hear that the port was well done and the game is excellent on console
@JoeBlogs there's other persona games available for the Vita from the psp catalogue. Trails in the Sky is supposedly one of the best rpgs of this decade and it has some persona elements to it such as the social mixing side in it otherwise there's the final fantasies from the ps one classics, Suikoden 1 and 2, Final Fantasy X hd remaster
Think I'm on Bronze III for a couple of the groups so might make a push to get a silver Was playing a few ranked games yesterday as it happened and contrary to what people are saying here, I found there was a lot more coprdination between players in unranked games than in ranked; I'm talking about random players playing together here just to be clear. In ranked, so many times a player would make basic mistakes like leaving the goal unguarded when they were the last person back/closest to the goal or two people going for the same ball. Also had a case of a goal thief but that's a different story. For people here that have been put off ranked I wouldn't ignore it out of fear, espeacially if you start playing RL fairly regularly and get your rhythm going you'll manage just fine. Just ignore the chat box
