@DerMeister Congrats on the job! It’ll be a mix of Dragons Dogma, CoD WW2 and Football Manager 2018 for me as I try to bring Stevenage up through the leagues!
Happy Christmas everyone!
Probably lots of Vita action while I digest food near the fire! Thinking of starting a Final Fantasy (probably IV), some Darkest Dungeon and some Trails in the Sky SC to finally finish that damn game off.
On the PS4 front wont be playing too much as I’ve left my 32” tv in my flat and all I could find at home was a 19” one which looks tiny now, might try to finish off Hellblade which has been brilliant. I’ve officially given up on AC: Origins, just wasn’t doing it for me unfortunately although I could see how it’s improved in a lot of areas.
Between a school musical to help with and specialized tests that need correcting, I won’t be doing too much gaming, try to fit in some of the Battlefield 1 new dlc which is great and maybe some AC: Origins if finish early
@themcnoisy have you tried Darksiders 2 from the Ps Plus? It’s a pretty fun if generic but it might tide you over till next week @Kyroki Fully agree, the Battlefield dlcs have always been good for me and this keeps up the level of quality
Still plugging away at Trails in the Sky SC, feels like I’m really nearing the finale at last I’ll be checking out the Winter event in CoD as well on Sunday eve
I'll be hoping to finish off AC: Origins over the Xmas and either Pillars of Eternity (I'm about a third of the way through) or Torment: Tides of Numenera as well hopefully. I'd also like to maybe finish a 3ds game or two as I've been neglecting that system for awhile, I've a bunch of older Zeldas to play through plus Chrono Trigger, Ace Atourney trilogy and Dragon Quest IX so if I can finish one of those I'll be happy they'll also be doses of MP between Battlefield 1, CoD WW2 and Rocket League
I've been plugging away at finishing Trails in the Sky SC, getting near the end I feel. While it's a good game with a very good story, I'll be happy to finally finish it after 3 attempts! During the week it'll be more CoD:WW2 (they've finally populated HQ!) and maybe get back to AC:Origins which isn't really grabbing me like older AC games but I want to keep at it. Think it's the setting which isn't doing anything for me yet
@oryo23 So much quality gaming there! On Vita action this weekend mostly so I’ve started Virtues Last Reward, heard great things about it, I’ll also be playing some Championship Mamager 01/02 which should flood back memories! Lastly I’ll be playing some CoD:WWII on Sunday night when I get back to my flat, I’ll jump into Zombies and pray I find a team that plays the objectives!!
Picked up CoD: WW2 during the weekend and have been enjoyed playing a WW2 game again, MP has been really fun so I’ll continue that on Sunday night, it’ll be that and AC: Origins and BF: 1 on rotation for the next few weeks
Not a lot this weekend, maybe start a play through of Chrono Trigger on 3ds but from Monday eve I’ll be getting stuck into AC: Origins which I’m really excited about
Looking forward to this, I’ll be picking up a copy on Friday when I trade in some games for it, love a good AC I do, even when they were at their quest-marker obsessed worst
Not much for me this weekend, busy moving to an apartment and getting organised for work. Might get on the vita for Shovel Knight or Trails in the Sky SC. Also recently started Shadowrun on the laptop so might get through more of that
It'll be more Destiny 2 for me this weekend, had a go at the raid with s formidable team made of PushSquare stalwarts but after a strong start we got stuck badly stuck infuriatingly stuck so possible having another run at that or the Nightfall. Still need to try out the Trials of the Nine event for the first time too
Not much for me this weekend due to work but thankfully this will be the last time I'll be working weekends as I just got offered my first teaching post 🙂And on my birthday no less! So from next week onwards I'll look forward to adding to this article a lot more
@kyleforrester87 How's the control scheme in Pillars? Is it as good as Divinitys? Also would you rate the story better than Divinities so far? Loved a lot about divinity but thought the story wasn't great
Nearing the end of the game after blasting through it, it's really enjoying it so far, the leads are excellent and work well together, world is gorgeous and gameplay is as solid if unremarkable as U4, the whole Indian mythology is really interesting to follow
Blasting through DS:2 Scholar of the first Sin. Next boss on my list is the one in Shaded Forest, although I think I've reached this area in a roundabout way, having accidentally gone through tougher areas first 😜
@DerMeister When did you get a PS4 btw? I distinctly remember for months feeling bad for you cause you were stuck playing PS3 games while pining to play modern releases glad you finally got one at any rate
@THRILLHOU Ya that's what I've heard essentially, that's it's a very good game, just not a good Souls game apparently the DLC is excellent, I'll keep an eye out for your summon sign along the way 😜
In between work this weekend I've started up Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin. Nothing quite gives me the same sense of tingling anticipation and excitement like a SoulsBorne game. I've never played DS2 due to all the negative commentary around the game that it lacks the Miyazaki magic but I'm looking forward to playing what should be an excellent game nonetheless. I've also decided to replay the Witcher 3 on Death March difficulty, planning to work my way slowly towards the platinum on this one and take in the greatness of this game all over again. Might play Football Manager 2017 at some point too now that the Football League is back again
Just back from a brief holiday and working all day Sunday so just a small bit of gaming for me on the Vita. I'll be playing through more of Trails in the Sky SC, great game so far
@Rudy_Manchego how you liking BB? Especially as your a parent, I duno how you manage with all that stress in your life! Still busy correcting state exams but nearing the end, might get some BF1 in tonight. Finally upgraded my tv from an old 24" techwood tele to a 32" Samsung Smart full hd to. The difference in quality is amazing, thinking of replaying the Witcher 3 finally just to take in the even more gorgeous scenery!
Kinda feel that with the release of Elite: Dangerous, Hello Games have missed the boat when it comes to multiplayer. Most people interested in these types of games will have committed to Elite by the time this releases I imagine. Shame, NMS was a game that had incredible potential but poor marketing and a lack of in game content and missions let this game die. I get that a lot of people enjoyed it as a chill adventure game but so many people got burned that it's hard to see it ever recovering
@PostmanPatinator wouldn't bother with Verdun, bf1 is a far far better game and experience, Verdun is janky, glitchy and inaccurate with shooting :/ save your money Pat!

@Tasuki @Kyroki is it not based on the Gallipolli landings from WW1? I’m nearly sure they are? That’s why it’s British Marines as the new soldiers too

Don't have much time for gaming but will try to squeeze in an episode of tales from the borderlands and some racing in Wipeout and Dirt 4
