Re: Marvel's Spider-Man 2 Swings Back with Stunning PS5 Gameplay Trailer

KidRyan

HYPE trailer/gameplay, really made up for the rest of the showcase being "meh" at best, besides a few other games that excited me.

@TaterSlap69 When Kraven snapped that guy's neck in the beginning, I actually gasped a little.

I doubt Spider-Man 2 will be M rated, but they'll definitely be pushing the Teen rating to it's limit it seems.

@MidnightDragonDX Miles Morales is a great game, and it'll get you used to his combat moves, gameplay, and most importantly learn about him as a character.

It is unfortunately a bit shorter than the first game, but if you take your time exploring and taking in the sights, collecting everything etc the game can last a good 10-15 hours.

@BearsEatBeets I was really disappointed to still having the vague Fall 2023 date, but here's hoping they will be able to secure a September 2023 release.

If there is a delay, I'm predicting November 2023 instead of October 2023. Otherwise it'd be releasing in the same month as Alan Wake II, Assassin's Creed: Mirage, and Lords of the Fallen (2).

Re: Metal Gear Solid 1, 2, and 3 Launch on PS5 in the Master Collection

KidRyan

@belmont @Tharsman @Ralizah @Robocrop_Duster @Snake_V5 @tameshiyaku @Orpheus79V @Athrum Do you think a hypothetical Vol. 2 would also include Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, in addition to Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker?

Also Portable Ops seems unlikely, since it wasn't included in the PS3 remaster collection.

Re: Alan Wake 2 Dated for 17th October on PS5

KidRyan

HYPE trailer, reminds me I still need to replay thru Alan Wake 1 + DLC, and then tackle Control finally and it's DLC.

@paulbuck1996 @JaphyRider @MrSensical I could see us eventually getting physical copies, after the digital copies have sold well enough.

Either directly thru Epic Games, or using a 3rd party like Limited Run Games, Fangamer etc.

Re: Prince of Persia: Sands of Time Remake Back at Concept Stage After Total Reboot

KidRyan

Not surprising, we probably won't be seeing the remake until 2025-2026 at this rate.

@Sam_ATLUS In terms of big AAA releases, nothing since the Mario & Rabbids game.

However we did get a confirmed October 12th date for AC Mirage at today's PlayStation Showcase.

We also still have these Ubisoft games slated for a vague 2023 release window...

Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora
Skull and Bones
Tom Clancy's The Division Resurgence

Re: PS Plus Members Can Get a Free Fast Travel in Final Fantasy 14

KidRyan

@jolteon23 Best of luck to you! Meanwhile I'm gonna try to beat Hogwarts Legacy by end of June.

July will be dedicated to Horizon: Forbidden West and Burning Shores. August will be Star Wars: Jedi Fallen Order and Tchia.

I should finally be playing FF16 around September, which will benefit me from the inevitable patches released.

Re: Alan Wake's PS5 Sequel May Be Much Closer Than You Think

KidRyan

@theMEGAniggle I keep forgetting about the new IP, would it awesome if it was Savage Starlight (the comic Ellie reads).

The current WGA writers strike only impacts Hollywood movies and tv shows, it has zero impact on video game writers/jobs.

They've already confirmed that Part 2 will be split into 2 seasons.

Re: Alan Wake's PS5 Sequel May Be Much Closer Than You Think

KidRyan

@theMEGAniggle There's also the possibility we'll just get 1 game this year, with the other releasing next year.

Regarding a potential The Last of Us 3, I don't see that releasing until 2025 at the earliest. Unless we get both TLOU2 DC and Factions this year, then 3 could drop in 2024.

Same here tbh, I've been slacking on gaming alot. I'm still playing thru Hogwarts Legacy very slowly, and haven't touched my copy of Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order or played thru Horizon Forbidden West + Burning Shores yet.

Re: Alan Wake's PS5 Sequel May Be Much Closer Than You Think

KidRyan

@theMEGAniggle We've already been eating good this year too.

Hogwarts Legacy, Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, Wild Hearts, RE4 Remake, Star Wars Jedi: Fallen order, Horizon Forbidden West: Burning Shores DLC etc.

2023 is definitely looking to be the strongest year for overall gaming releases.

@somnambulance Maybe a Director's Cut release of The Last of Us: Part II, releasing beside Factions? Or as a bundle.

Re: Alan Wake's PS5 Sequel May Be Much Closer Than You Think

KidRyan

@theMEGAniggle Haha I know right? We're gonna be eating good if those dates are true.

I'm honestly looking forward to Alan Wake II the most, out of those two October games. Also Spidey 2 in September of course .

@somnambulance Exactly! We know nothing about what's coming beyond July, besides a few random games...
