Re: Alan Wake 2 Is a Digital-Only Release, $60 on PS5

KidRyan

@BlueBeemer That doesn't make any sense though, they're both digital only versions. There's no physical PC or console version of Alan Wake II.

So why is the Digital PC release $10 cheaper than PS5/Xbox Series Digital? Please explain that to me.

I still plan to buy this game, but may wait for a deep discount now.

Hopefully there will be an eventual physical release, thru a 3rd party like Limited Run Games, Fangamer, etc...

@Martijn87 What's worse is that the PC version is somehow $10 cheaper ($50), despite being the same exact game.

Re: Alan Wake's PS5 Sequel May Be Much Closer Than You Think

KidRyan

@somnambulance The surprise games turned out to be both Alan Wake II and Assassin's Creed: Mirage releasing in October.

@theMEGAniggle Oh my bad, sorry for misreading! Makes sense now.

I haven't played Part 2 yet, but I imagine they'll have Season 2 end around the halfway point of the game.

Naughty Dog developing a Sci-Fi game would be amazing. They clearly have alot of talent and could pull it off. Even if it doesn't turn out to be Savage Starlight, I'd still play the new IP.

Re: Reaction: Sony Flubs First Proper PS5 Presentation in Over 18 Months

Sony definitely could have just done a PlayStation State of Play focusing on fewer games, and dump the rest as separate trailers/blog articles over time.

That said though, there's still a decent lineup of games I'm looking forward to regardless.

Re: Round Up: What Was Announced at the PlayStation Showcase?

KidRyan

Even though alot of the games I was hoping would be featured here didn't show up, there's still a decent selection of games I'm looking forward to! Most notably FF16, Spidey 2, and Alan Wake II.

Re: Spider-Man 2 PS5 Release Date, Pre-Order Details Coming Soon

KidRyan

@AdamNovice More than likely this is the reason, they're gonna wait until after Xbox's June 11 showcase at least.

I doubt Sony's too worried about whatever Nintendo releases in Fall 2023 though.

@anon_pel222 That would have been preferred yes. Sadly all we can do is be patient and wait for more information.
