This was my thoughts exactly when i read over on PX that some guys was talking to some youths at work and they all said they would move over to xbox. I didnt bother to comment tho as i cant be bothered with the retorts id receive for bringing that up. Imo you teally need to be addicted to a franchise to then go out and buy another console and a new sub. Im glad im not one of them.

@Swirly yeah man i hoping Mike deals out the punishment and doesnt gas out too early. I think personally Jake doesnt know what hes let himself in for and once hes in the ring with Mikes eyes locked on to him its finally going to hit home.

@playstation1995 crash 4 has been out for a couple of years buddy. You mean crash 5?

I know they add these games to premium to make the service more attractive but id really like to see a classics style range where they take these older PS1 games and give them a nice frame/res boost and some QOL features and knock them out for 15-20 a piece. There are loads of classic games that i think would do well whilst keeping production costs low. Wipeout, G police, Syphon filter etc.

@JB_Whiting and most of all..... it was about the tournament. Mortal kombat is the name of the actual tournament so how can you have a fil called Mortal kombat with no tournament 😂😂

After watching the intro to the first (reboot) movie i was sure they nailed it. The opening scene with Sub zero and Scorpion was amazing. Then they introduced the lead and the silly story and it was all down hill from there. Should have done a more serious reboot of the OG movie. How hard can it be with so much amazing lore to choose from.

@AndyKazama i really like the grey suit you get for completion of the game. Not got the OM suit yet tho.

Havnt picked it up in a month or so but its a great game, even if its just to dip in to every now or then. No pressure to lvl up or get gear before it disappears etc. Play at your own pace.

@Shepherd_Tallon yeah it was on sale a, couple of weeks before the PS5 upgrade launched for about £4 or £5 and was standard price again a few days before launch.

Good to see Capcom doing so well. Going back to the snes ive always liked alot of the content they've put out.

@sanderson72 it may well have been mate. The LBP game were always a joy to play. Just fun times without alot of thinking involved.

Good job they didnt really. They would be long gone by now id imagine. MM need to go back to making fun games again tho i think. Dreams was a big gamble that in the end didnt quite pan out. Sackboy's adventure was a good old romp tho.

Im waiting for the backlash when they raise the GP price as mentioned above. A few quid more if you like COD isnt so bad but its a kicker if COD doesnt interest you.

I cancel my plus from month to month. Only reason i subscribe is to play online, when im dug in to a game like Stellar or FF and i know i wont be playing for a month or so i cancel. I dont want to give these companies any more than i already am by buying the console and the games i want. Even buying the games ive cut down on drastically. Im now far more selective of my purchases and its gone from 3,4 or 5 a month to 2 at the most.

Who said anything about "my" favorite franchises? They are just a list of popular, beloved franchises that have been left to the wayside for AAA huge budget, rediculous production length same old 3rd person adventure games. Of course its a risk. Games like Jak and Sly the majority of gamers probarbly havnt heard of. Theyve been out of the picture for nigh on 15 years, sony doesnt know that people havnt moved on, newcomers will reject the franchise etc but yes i agree, new IP's are always welcome but it would be nice if we got a break from another 3rd person adventure game. Uncharted, god of war, GoT, TLOU, Horizon etc.

@Balie3000 yeah man, Wipeopt is classic gaming going back to the PS roots. Wasnt so keen on the last one tho as i just like the bog standard style of 3 laps then move on to the next track. I didnt like the elimination races or the one where you kept speeding up after every lap.

Id rather play Stellar blade through 10 times over than another Spiderman game that feels just like the last or a remaster of yet another PS4 game that doesnt need remastering. Use some devs to bring back some older titles like another Sly cooper, Jak & Daxter, Wipeout, Motorstorm, gravity rush, Astrobot etc. Take some bloody risks instead of just playing it safe. Not every first party game needs to be an expensive GOW or Horizon game that takes 6 years to make. Sony has just lost all its charm of an age long past.

@AFCC if you have unlocked every outfit on your first play through the in NG+ there will be colour variants in the same chests. If you missed any on your first run (like i did) then you only get the origional in those chest meaning a 3rd play is needed to unlock the colour variant.

@Nepp67 i thought this when playing on normal difficulty NG+. It isnt any different from from standard game normal. I was destroying bosses without using a single med kit. Thats why i will be doing a hard run after i get the plat.

@Nekomichu i agree with @Icey664 on this one. I was one of the ones strongly against the "adjusted" costumes etc but i just couldnt be bothered to keep killing my connection every time i booted up SB and missing out on improvement patches etc so begrudgingly turned auto updates back on. There are some other amazing costumes in the game that remain untouched. The one you get for completing the game is super cool and super tight if thats your thing.
Completed the game 2 nights ago and imo its GOTY contender without a doubt. I loooooove the combat and the story is passable at worst.
Started a NG+ on normal difficulty that will be for my plat and to upgrade to the max and once thats done i will do NG++ on a hard run once photo mode is hopefully released for the 3rd and final true ending.
Some of those later bosses gave me big trouble and i accidently spent all my coin on bombs at the very last camp so went in to NG+ with no coin at all but 400 bombs in storage 🤬. This is one of my favorite games ever.

Sound's like he's just trying to shift all blame on to Sony so to not Damage AH's rep to me. He knew the score to begin with and could have voiced his concerns in the beginning.

Shame. The THPS 1+2 remake wascpretty amazing and really gave that 99s nostalgia hit. 3&4 would have been very welcome.

@KoopaTheGamer im well aware of the fact that there are reasonable people that play on PC, im one of them along with my son. As stated 10 minutes and and my boy had an account created. Its a simple fact that if people want to play they need an account or else they have to play something else. Dont go moaning and spitting dummies out about something you were told was going to happen before you even paid for the game.

On a Serious note tho, good on Sony. Im not really too happy that the the game has been pulled from country's that dont have access to an account but for those that do, it was fully stated that an account would be needed. Im sure these people that are moaning have never made an account before, Steam, MS, Amazon, Netflix, LG, Samsung etc. Everyones collecting data, watching you, listning in to conversations etc. If these people cant be bothered to make an account that takes 10 minutes out of their days and would rather boycott a game that they love playing with their friends etc then i say let them do it. In the words of Forest Gump "Stupid is as stupid does"

Hopefully i will manage to complete Stellar blade over the weekend but the difficulty soon spikes in the latter half of the game. Really struggling with one particular boss battle. After thatci will move on to something else. Saving NG+ for when there is a photo mode..... for reasons.

@thefourfoldroot1 thanks for saying exactly what i was just about to say. Its not like the info is even hard to come across. PS once again choosing what to leave out instead or reporting on all the facts.

Id might bite at Gears, Flight sim or Rare replay but other that im not interested in anything at all MS has to offer.

@LordAinsley yeah ive atruggled with a few of them, or when you find a locked chest but cant locate the code anywhere lol 🤬

@BIG3 i started doing the aide quests but i may just go story then clear everything up in NG+. Do skills carry over or do you start bare again as that would make the skill tree tutorial redundant. If ive got to start completely from scratch and my collectables and skills dont carry over i may just think twice.

@UltimateOtaku91 yeah the skill does mate it easier. I didnt bother with the beta skills and wen for the combat/parry and dodge skills first. Dont get me wrong, its still not a walk in the park tho and ive just recently beat a boss that took me about 7 attempts. Its about learning the patterns. If all else fails just block until you work out the pattern, lathough some enemies have an unlockable move. You can buy a skill reset from the vending machine and as stated above, you can get an exo spine that helps with dodging and parrying that can be upgraded.

@UltimateOtaku91 how far dis you get through the game? Im on standard and although i die a few times im not finding it that bad at all. Did you use the akills to make parrying and dodging easier?
@BIG3 congrats, i dont know how far i am through but i will defenately be playing through for the plat after ive done it. A boss rush mode would be really good too as there are some good memorable bosses.

@LordAinsley i also like the combat in this game more than Neir. There seems like there is more skill involved whilst not going in to the soulsbourne side of frustration and agree the story is weaker. Its not bad just drawn out a little. I had to switch to Korean with the English sub 😂

@itsfoz there is a town later on that gets more populated the further through the game you get but most of the areas you go out and explore are pretty sparse and derelict with the odd NPC thrown in. Plenty of places to explore and a few of the levels really open up with nooks and crannies to find boxes, upgrades etc. Im enjoying it alot more than i did the demo and i liked that too.

I agree. Some of the made up names for some of the items in Pikmin are hilarious. If they were just named after the actual items it would have been boring.
Eg the lemon is known as a face wrinkler 😂

@Monochrome321 maybe for some but i can tell you now that the T&A dont do anything to take away the fact that this game is bloody darn good. The demo was pretty good but the full game just gets alot better. I disagree that the score is inflated. I think its well worthy of it.
